Hector thought he was the luckiest skeleton in the world.
He had the best great-great-grandson in the world.
Miguel, who had even said he was proud to be his family.
Héctor was proud Miguel was his family, too.
Miguel made it where Héctor had his photo on the ofrenda, he was accepted back into his family, and got to see Miguel on Día de los Muertos.
This is more than Héctor could have ever dreamed of.
Tomorrow was Día de los Muertos.
The first year that Héctor would cross over.
"I miss him, Imelda." Héctor said.
"I do too." Imelda replied. "But you will se him tomorrow."
"I hope so." Héctor said, looking out the window as the sun was setting.
Soon the beautiful glow of the Land of the Dead lit the dark sky.
Héctor was determined to see his great-great grandson tomorrow.
