{Betty's POV}
As we pull up to, what I can gather, is called The Whyte Wyrm, Jug parked the bike along side many other beautiful bikes. I'm dumbfounded, nearly all of them are either Harley's or Indians. Most are nothing but black , some matte, others shiny. One catches my eye, it's mainly matte black with some pinstripes of pink.
"You like that one?" Jug asks, noticing my astonishment. All I do is nod as I look at the beauty in front of me. "I'll introduce you to the owner" he says as he places his hand on my lower back. His touch always causes me to look at him, it's hard not to. There's just something about him, you can't look away for long.
As we enter what I now know for sure is a bar, my ears are filled with familiar rock music. My eyes caught sight of many different people, all in Southside Serpent jackets. Lots of them were people around my age, maybe even younger. Though there are also plenty of people in their 30's and 40's.
The moment the bell above the door rings, all eyes are on us. The large bar is silent minus the music, everyone looking at me with confusion.
"Who's the northsider Jug!?" Someone yells.
"Listen up!" Jughead yells, all while his hand is resting on my lower back. "This woman is welcome here! No one shall harm or harass her in any way! If you do, you have me to deal with! Got it!?" I stand there shocked, why is he doing this?
"Since when were we allowing Northsider's in here boss?" A large man asked stepping forward. He was tall, maybe early 40's. He had long brown hair and a nose ring.
"Since I said so. She's good Tallboy." Jughead said. What is with these names? "Do you have a problem with that?"
They stand there, staring at each other for a moment. I would expect someone like Jughead to be answering to someone like Tallboy. Tallboy's older, bigger. Obviously I know nothing about how a gang runs.
"No boss" he finally says. Jughead nods, following Tallboys gaze. His eyes meet mine, they're dark. Everyone's eyes here are dark, filled with so much anger.
"Come on, let's get a drink" he said in my ear as he began to guide me toward the bar. As we walk I can't help but look around. The bar is lit up by lots of red lights along with regular ones, of course there's a pool table. There are sofas placed strategically around, whoever designed this place certainly knew what they were doing. "Toni! Can I get two beers?" Jug asks. My eyes snap to the girl behind the counter. She's gorgeous, darker skin, pink hair. A twinge of jealousy passes through me, but why? Jughead isn't mine. I have no right to be jealous.
"Sure thing, Jones" she smiles. "Who's this?" She asks motioning to me.
"This is Betty Cooper. Betty, this is Toni Topaz" Jug says. I smile at her as we shake hands.
"You're a mechanic?" She asks me. I only nod.
"Keep an eye on her Toni, I'll be right back" Jug says before I have the chance to ask where he was going.
"How'd you two meet?" She asks.
"I changed the brakes on his bike a few days ago."
"Finally! I was wondering when he'd finally grow the balls to go do that!" She exclaimed, handing me a Corona.
"I don't turn 21 for another few days..." she laughs.
"You're good blondie. If you're with Jug, you get whatever you want" she smiled.
"We're not together, together..." why do I feel like such a kid in this place? I'm not much younger than most of the people, I'm older than some!
"Not yet. If Jughead wants something, he gets it. And he wants you blondie" she smiled. My heart stops. I've known this girl for all of two minutes and she supposedly already knows what Jughead wants with me? "Don't worry, he's a good guy. He just has a hard time of showing it sometimes."
"Is Jughead like.... your guys' leader?" I ask suddenly. She chuckles while drying a beer glass.
"Betty!" I jump in my seat at the sound of my name. At first I figured it was Jughead, but no.
"Joaquin!?" I yell.
