Adrianna POV

I never thought I would wish to kill an elf. But at this moment in time I was furiously wishing, with all my heart, that I could rip out these elves throat. The she-elf had finished off the spiders and was now pointing her bow at Thorin, making my blood boil with anger.

'Take another step she-elf and I will end you' I growled menacingly in my mind, eyeing the red headed elf.

I was surprised there was more of the prominent-cheek-boned pricks, but there were still to many for me to take down. I was regretting destroying my clothes before, resulting in me staying in the rather fury form, that is until I found some clothing. By now, the elves had surrounded us, and had us all at bow-point. I had a moment of recklessness, as my animalistic side told me to attack, to save my mate and get of of this awful predicament. But I was held back by Thorin firm, but gentle, hold on my soft fur. I growled softly before sitting down and leaning against his leg.

"Legolass, what now?" The red headed she-elf shouted to the tall, royal looking blonde before me. Or Legolass as she had just called him.

"Search them!" Legolass shouted back, a small, yet insanely infuriating, smirk on his face. I'm pretty sure he could feel the daggers of hate myself and Thorin were shooting at him. The name Legolass rang a bell, ah yes he was the prince of Mirkwood, son to the elf king thranduil. I had respect for that man, but it was quickly subsiding. The troop of elves came forward, casting me weary looks as I growled, low and menacing at them. As an elf tried to search Thorin, I snarled and swiped at him, gentle as it was just a warning. Thorin chuckled at my reaction.

Legolass moved to search Gloin besides us. He snatched Gloins locket from him, examining the picture of his wife and child. I growled slightly, only held back by Thorins fist buried in my fur.

"Hey, give it back! That's private!" Gloin cried, snatching at thin air as Legolass raised the locket up above him, looking at one of the pictures.

" Who is this? Your brother?" Legolass snarled, pointing to a picture of a female dwarf.

" That is my wife!" Gloin shouted, outraged. I couldn't help but snigger quietly.

" And what is this horrid creature? A Goblin Mutant?"Legolass sneered, pointing to a picture of a young dwarves boy.

'Tad bit harsh blonde' I thought to my self, snarling at an elf attempting to search Thorin.

" That's my wee lad, Gimli!" Gloin yelled, his eyebrows knitting together in a bushy frown. I watched as the elves collected all of the companies weapons, except if Thorin of course, and hand them to Legolass. Noticing the missing blade, Legolass looked up at the elf infront of him, a frown of his face.

"There is one missing. There are tirthteen dwarves and only twelve blades-" Legolass growled. The elf replied timidly in elvish laguage, before Legolass stalked over to Thorin. A snarl once again ripped from my throat, and I was amused to see the other elves take a small step back.

"It seems you have your self a pet" Legolass spat, looking down at me with disgust. Thorin tightened his hold, feeling my urge to rip blondes hair out and then watch him cry over his long blond locks.

"It seems it has been causing my men trouble-" he looked towards an elf and nodded once "-let's us end that problem shall we." Out of no where, a rope was thrown around my neck, and I was pulled away from Thorin kicked and spotting and clawing at the ground. The dwarves shouted in protest, trying to fight their way towards me. It was no use, after a few of them were nocked down, I cooperated, not wanting to see them hurt.

I didn't see the others come up behind me, but the next thing I knew, I was being painfully held down by three elves knees, while te more tied my legs together like game being brought home. I was outraged now, as Legolass searched Thorin himself. I snarled, roared and growled , lashing this way and that. The ropes dug into my skin, rubbing it raw. I saw Legolass point Thorins sword as him, and that was the last straw. I thrashed about even harder, and threw the elves off of me, somehow, I managed to get free of the ropes also. In a matter of seconds, I was hurtling towards legolass, fully intent on killing his royal ass. I heard something cut through the air, then hit something with a wet, sickening, thud. Pain erupted in my chest, but it only faltered my corse slightly, but ultimately saved the blondes life. I hit him in the chest, sinking my claws into his shoulders. Thorins sword went flying, as we hit the solid ground, knocked the wind of of Legolass. My rage had been softened slightly by pain, but it still needed to make a warning. I roared with all my might at the elf, silence even the wind it seemed. The pain in my left side ribs increased, ten fold as I roared, causing me to stagger of the elf and reveal my side to the company. I purred and rubbed my head against Thorins knee, showing I was okay.

Legolass stood shakily, trying his best to look like I hadn't just made him shit himself. He stacked up the blade, and called to his elves to lead us away. We followed the elves, having no other choice.

" Thorin, where's Bilbo?" Bofur whispered to Thorin as we were lead away, hand bond, or in my case, jaws. Thorin turned to look behind him, but I didn't even acknowledge what they were talking about my animal side had taken over...for now

We were lead through the horrid forest, towards the wood elves Kingdom I presume. If I was so stubborn and full of anger at the moment, I would be able to appreciate the true beauty of the place. Tree reached towards the sky, their branches like graceful arms reaching towards the sun.

We were marched across a great wooden bridge, and through the gates, into the depths of the kingdom of wood elves. The gates were slammed shut behind us, shutting out the forest and the dangers lurking amongst the trees. Also shutting out the last dregs of hope we had of escape. I sensed so etching behind us through, so I turned around. The was a slight shimmer in the air, like there was heat, a lot of heat coming from that specific spot. But then it stopped as a sharp tug on my leash alerted me I was lagging behind. The led up down steps, leading us deep in to Eugene of the wood elf kingdom. I had heard stories about this place, about those who are imprisioned and how they never, ever get out. While the dwarves were lead into actually cells, I was chain to a wall, with iron coolers and chains, around my neck and paws. I also had on two painful mussels, that also had keys to open and close them with.

I hung my head, as the metal coller was to heavy to carry. I felt tired, as I had been loosing blood before they healed me. I'm surprised they didn't just leave me to die. I groaned softly as my legs gave out and I crashed to the floor, the sound of metal clanging against rock didn't even get over the shouting dwarves.

" This is not the end of it! Do you hear me?! Dwalin shouted, grabbing the bars of his cells with bone braking strength.

" Let us out of here!" Bofur cried, waving his arms around in a crazy fashion. The red headed she-elf and kili walked past, kili casting me a pitying look before Tauriel, as Legolass had called her, shoved him into a cells beside Bofur. I relsie with a jolt that Thorin wasn't with us. I stood, so quickly I made the dwarves jump.

'Thorin' I called out in my mind. Nothing.

'Thorin are you okay!' I cried mentally. Again nothing. I started to panick, I growled, snarled and thrashed about, trying to rid myself of the chains. All I ended up doing was hurting myself. The elves had left, leaving me to roar and struggle while the dwarves tried to calm me. I ignored them completely, and only stopped fighting when I collapsed from exhaustion. With a mournful mew, I sat and waited.

After a while, the dwarves took my tack tick of trying to break our confinement a with brute strength. I watched as they started throwing themselves at the bars, trying to break free.

" Arhhg...again!" Gloin snarled, about to try once more before Balin stepped in.

" Leave it! There is no way out! This is no Orc dungeon. These are the Halls of the Woodland realm. No one leaves here, but, by the King's consent." Balin said quietly, slicening everyone. His sad eyes case over everyone before landing on me.

"I'm sorry we pulled you into this lass. I truly am" Balin gently told me, almost as if he was talking to a dangerous, injured animal. In a way I suppose I was. I whimpered slightly in sad reconishon and turned my gaze back to the stars, waiting, watching for any signs of Thorin.

After what felt like hours, I heard the sound of someone coming down the stairs. I stood instantly, ignoring the groan of pain my muscles made. The chain wrapped around my body gingered loudly, announcing to the dwarves I'd heard something. They all rushed to the doors of their prisons, while I strained against the chains hold me down like a wild beast.

Thorin emerged, with two guards escorting him down the stairs. The dwarves cheered at his arrival, while I stayed silent. As he past me, I saw pain in his and pity. It made me feel worthless and pathetic. One of the elven guard sneered and kicked my side, hard. I was sent back a little by the force of it. It would only add a bruise to my collection so far. Thorin was Thrown into a cell, one that was furthest away from me.

"Where were you, ya had us worrying!" Balin cried, like an annoyed father.

"I was in a meeting with Thranduil" Thorin growled, but I could hardly hear him.

" Did he offer you a deal?" Balin asked, his voice hopeful

" He did. I told him he could go ishkh khakfe andu null. Him and all his kin!" Thorin snarled back, his anger directed to the king sitting above us some where.

" Well, that's that then. The deal was our only hope." Balin sighed, making me growl at his lack of faith.

" It's not our only hope." Thorin told Balin, fake confidence in his voice.

'Bilbo' Thorin whispered in his mind.

'Yes, he will come' I told him softly, feeling more at ease now I knew he away safe.

'We can only hope' was the only reply, before we both lapsed into silence.

I close my eyes, needing rest.

I stared at the wall in front of me. Kili had finally stopped tossing the damn rock he always carried, and for a little while, it was quiet. Well except for the obnoxiously loud laughing, screaming and well...party noises, echoing from above us. The loudspeaker sound made my ears hurt, but there was nothing I could do.

"I'll wager the sun in on the rise. Must be nearly dawn."Bofur mourned, sighing.

" We're never gonna reach the mountain, are we?" Ori whispered sadly, filling me with or row and guilt. I needed to keep fighting. I was not going to let them lose their home twice. I stood, and started fighting the chains again, creating a loud racket, but no one heard over the loud party above.

"Here we go again" fili sighed as I pushed with all my might against the chains. I finally gave up and collapsed again with a small moan of sorrow.

"It alright lass, were not gonna reach the mountain, don't hurt yourself" Balin called softly. Suddenly, out of nowhere bilbo appeared from around the corner.

" Not stuck in here you're not!" Bilbo laughed , holding up a mass of keys on a ring. He was holding the keys to the cells! The dwarves began cheering, but stopped when bilbo hushed them.

"Ssh! There are guards, nearby!"

He releases the dwarves before working on my chains. It felt good to be out of those bloody chains. My skin was raw, from where the chains had rubbed down my fur until reaching my skin and making it raw. I went to go up the stairs, only to be pulled back by my tail.

" Not that way. Down here, follow me!" Bilbo whispered, before disappearing down the steps learning further into the depths of the kingdom of stick-in-the-mud elves. Uncertainly, I trot after bilbo, keeping in stride with Thorin.

" Come on!" Bilbo calls back, urging us to hurry. We followed bilbo down i to he cellar, were it appeared they kept the wine. My nose twitched as I smelt the sickly sweet liquid in th wooden barrels. Two drunk elves were past out on the cellar floor snoring like bears, and being every unelf like.

" This way." Bilbo urges us, running down the steps. We all hesitated, unsure of bilbos plan.
" Come on!" bilbo growled, frustrated.

" I don't believe it, we're in the cellars!" Kili gasped, earning an 'are you stupid' look from us all.

"You're supposed to be leading us out not further in!"Bofur cried, throwing his arms up.

" I know what I'm doing!" Bilbo insisted, his eyes flickering around constantly.

" Ssh!" Bofur, gasped, pointing at the passed out elves.

" Okay, this way. This way."bilbo sighed, pushing us forwards to were he was originally leading us. Before us were thirteen barrels, some stanched on each other, but all in a neat row. My confusion was shared with the rest of the dwarves. Suddenly, an alarm rings, sending us into panick.

"Everyone, climb into the barrels, quickly!" Bilbo yelped, pushing dwalin forwards.

"Are ye mad? They'll find us!" Dwalin whined, looking at the others. Thorin and I stood together, watching as the dwarves started mumbling together.

'We don't have time for this Thorin!' I told him, whinnying quietly and rubbing my head against Thorins knee. Bilbo looked at Thorin, begging him with his eyes.

" Do as he says!" Thorin snarled, moving forward to clim into a barrel of his own. The rest of the dwarves also climb into the empty barrels, leaving me and bilbo standing, me by the barrels while bilbo stood by a leaver looking thing. Bofur stuck his head out the barrel.

"What do we do now?" the other dwarves stuck their head out also, wanting to know the answer.

"Hold your breath." Bilbo chuckled, earning him more confused looks.

"Hold my breath? What do you mean?" Bofur cried, probably thinking bilbo had gone mad, as the evidence before us suggested. Just then, bilbo pulled the lever he was standing, throwing his hole body into it. For a moment, all that happened, was the floor beneath me creaked. The it disappeared altogether, dumping myself and the dwarf filled barrels into a river. Water rushed over my head, but I frantically doggy paddled to the surface again. Thankfully, my animal instincts weren't going crazy as tigers were knowing to swim. JUSt not to this existent. I paddled along with the barrels, ignoring the laughing drawers as they saw my fur plastered to my skin, making me looking like...well a drowned cat. Suddenly, bilbo joins us, and was pulled into a barrel with one of the others. Sick of swimming, I lunged for a nearby barrel, sinking my claws into the wood. I was happy to see this was Thorins barrel.

"Well done, Master Baggins!"Thorin shouted back, a small smile on his face. Bilbo raised a hand to dismiss it, as we all started paddling and floating down the river. I found myself paddling with my back legs to keep Thorin in front of the others. That was until we reached a small water fall.

" Hold on!" Balin cried, just seconds too late. For a moment I was forced unwatered as we all tumbled down and were sent downstream with elves on our tail. I resurfaced will a gargled roar.

" Shut the gate!" I heard Legolass shout to the guards at the water gate we were quickly approaching. I hissed at the though of being chained up again. Alarms were blaring here and there, as we sped towards the watergates. For a moment, I thought we were going to make it, that is until an elf guard pulled a lever, shutting the gate.

" No!" Thorin cried, his voice full of disappear. I watched as the elves closed in, ready to recapture us. My noise twitched as I caught a scent of the wind. A scent that made me recoil and hiss. Orcs. The sound of an arrow flying through the air reached me, and then a nearby elf collapsed, an Orc arrow sunken into his back. There was an awful screech, the sound of an Orc battle cry, and then Orcs came out from both sides of the river, fighting elves.

" Watch out!" Bofur yelled, dodging an arrow that twanged as it hit his barrel instead. Looked up to the lever the elf guard had pulled, it needed to be opened.

" Get over the bridge!"Thorin commanded, getting the same idea as I had. Suddenly, the Orcs started attacking us as well as the elves. OUt of the corner of my eye, I saw bilbo stabbing an Orc with his 'sword'.

'My, my bilbo, you have come far'

" Die!" Dwalin roared, pulling an Orc under the water to drown it . I let out a roar, before leaping up into the bank to kill of some orcs. My wet fur weighted me down, but I was still quicker then the orcs. I became aware of kili, jumping up onto the bridge to pull the lever. I quickly tired to follow, but Orc after Orc was in my way. I heard a strangled cry as I killed the last Orc keeping me from my friend. Kili had an arrow in his leg.

'No!' I roared mentally, as I leapt up on the bridge hissing and growling like a man thing.

" Kili!" Fili cried, agony for his brothers pain laced into his voice. Kili pulled himself to he lever, with my help.

" Kili!" Thorin shouted, pointing behind us. I span round in time to see the red head shooting the Orc with her bow, killing him. She gave Kili a nod, before diving back into battle. I struggle to pull kili towards the lever as my muscles ache from being over worked, but I pushed the pain away. My elves arrived, and started to kill of the Orcs, fighting bravely and with skill. Finally, kili and I manage to reach the lever.

"No!" I heard Legolass yell, before Kili, in his weakened state, managed to open the gate. The rest of the company escape down the river. Kili tried to jump down into one of the empty barrels, but misses, plunging into the water. I was after him in a slept second. I made sure he was holding my fur, before I started doggy paddling after the others, allowing the current to guide me. I could smell Kili's blood, mixing with the water, I could almost feel his pain. I would keep him safe.

"Kili!" Fili cried once more as we resurfaced. We were now being chased, chased down the river on both sides my orcs and elves. Thankfully the river was flowing as a fast pace so they were having difficulty keeping up. Legolass and red head red beside us, killing orcs in ones and twos. But I couldn't watch much, I was using the last of my energy keeping kili and myself afloat. Although I did see Thorin save Legolass from an Orc arrow. I paddled furiously to keep up with the others, my breath laboured and ragged. I felt a change in the current, it became slower...oh no..

'Thorin' I tried to say mentally, but exhaustion seemed to stop the ability' it was hard work staying beside them.

" Anything behind us?" Thorin demanded, spinning round in his barrel.

" Not that I can see." Balin spoke, his voice reaching us all. My limbs began to slow and my energy ran low, I felt us sink slightly into the river.

"I think we've outrun the Orcs." Bofur laughed, although I was doubtful

" Not for long, we've lost the current." Thorin growled, his eyes searching the bank

"We almost half drowned!" Dwalin cried, banging a fist against his barrel.

'Im still almost half drowned,' I thought to myself, sinking into the water even more. Kili held onto my fur tight, his breathes coming shallow and laboured.

" Make for the shore!" Thorin called, using his handle to paddle to shore.

'Finally!' I purred, using the last of my strength to get to shore. I clawing my way up onto the bank, then collapsed, Kili rolling from my back. I noticed Bofur watching us.

" Come on, let's go!" Thorin called ahead. I nor kili had the strength to move just yet.

"I'm fine, it's not nothing." Kili groaned, in obvious pain.

" On your feet." Thorin snapped, I snarled and growled at him. I hadn't just saved kili from drowning so Thorin could kill him by letting the wound get infected. The arrow had to be removed.

" Kili's wounded, his leg needs binding." Fili half begged, fusing over his injured brother. I stayed close, wanting to protect the injured.

" There's an Orc pack at our tail. We keep moving." Thorin frowned at me, seeing how annoyed I was.

" To where?" Balin asked. I tuned them out as fili wrapped kili's leg. I allowed kili to rest against my side, as I looked at his leg.

"We need to clean it ki" fili murmured, assessing the wound. I nudged kili gently, purring softly.

" Bind his leg, quickly. You have two minutes." Thorin snapped after talking with the others. I left Fili to wrap kili's leg, as I watched the others from behind a large rock. Ori was sitting on the river side, getting rid of the water In his boots while the others milled about, waiting for kili to be sorted. I suddenly, a man with a bow aims at Ori. My eyes widen as he lets his arrow lose. Thankfully, Dwalin stops the arrow with a piece of wood from one of the barrels. I creep forward, sinking low to the ground. Somehow the fool didn't see me as he was to busy threatening the others. The bowman shot another arrow at kili, taking the stone from his hand.

" Do it again and you're dead." Bard warned, making me growl. He whipped round, but I had already pounced. I slammed into him with my weight, gently holding his throat in my jaws as a warning. A soft growl left me, my eyes becoming more animalistic.

Everyone froze.

"Now lass, let 'im go." Balin warned. My eyes flickered to his before I groaned , letting go. I rubbed my head against the mans, trying to say sorry, before padding over to Ori and wrapping my tail around him protectively. The man looked stunned.

" Excuse me, but um...you're from Lake-town, if I'm not mistaken? That barge over there, it wouldn't be available for hire by any chance?" Balin asked, pointing over to a boat I hadn't seen before. The man walked over to the boat, followed by the rest of us.

"What makes you think I would help you?" The man growled, sending a dirty look my way.

"Those boots have seen better days, as has that coat." Balin began.

'Great idea Balin, insult the man more then I have, then he's sure to help' I thought sourly. I watched as the man started putting the barrels we same in, onto his boat.

" No doubt you have some hungry mouths to feed? How many bairns?" Balin carried on, staring to make sense. I still didn't trust this man.

"A boy and two girls." He replied, his face softening at the mention of his children.

" And your wife, I imagine, she's a beauty?" Balin smiled, seeing he was getting his own way. The man hesitated a moment.

" Aye, she was." He said softly, looking down. I suddenly felt terrible for threatening him before. Balin's face dropped as the realised what he just said.

" I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..." Balin spoke gently, showing he truly was sorry.

"Oh, come on, come on. Enough with the niceties." Dwalin cried. I turned on him and snarled for his heartless ways.

"What's your hurry?" The man asked, his eyes narrowed in a suspicious manner.

" What's it to you?" Dwalin replied, just as harshly.

" I would like to know who you are, and what you were doing in these lands."the man snapped back, although his words made me cautious. Thankfully, Balin had it covered.

"We are simple merchants from the Blue Mountains, journeying to see our kin in the Iron Hills."

" Simple merchants, you say?" Boat man laughed, shaking his head.

"We need food, supplies, weapons. Can you help us?" Thorin asked, barging forward.

"I know where these barrels came from." Was his reply.

" What of it?" Thorin growled.

" I don't know what business you had with the elves, but I don't think it ended well. No one enters Lake-town but by lead of the master. All his wealth comes from trade with the Woodland realm. He would see you in irons before risking the wrath of king Thranduil." The man snapped, once again getting on my bad side. The man got back into his boat as threw the rope to Balin.

" I'll wager there are ways to enter that town unseen." Balin called, his voice mysterious.

" Aye. But for that you would need a smuggler." The man yelled back.

" For which we would pay double." Balin shouted. I sighed when the man came back to shore.

"I will not take the beast" the man snapped, pointing at me. I snarled, before closing my eyes and bracing myself. This was going to be painful and cold.

He pain hit first, like a dagger to the heart, before the cold closed in on my bear skin. The shard was sinking deeper. I opened my eyes and looked the man in the eye.

"Fine, but will you take the woman" I snapped, ignoring the gaping staring, I crossed my arms over my bear chest. Thankfully, Thorin came to stand infront of me, covering me my their eyes.

"A bit over the top, don't you think?" Thorin laughed as I was handed various items of clothing to cover up.
