Every time I shut my eyes, you flit right through the cracks like a ray of hope,
Only to remind me, that you were the one who created those cracks in the first place.
And yet every time I open them, there you always are in flesh right in front of me,
Dancing through the memories of yesterday, lost in the winds of a path now left behind.
And even though I pray, day after day, of being freed of your memories as release,
