I dressed Keh carefully for her very first doctors appointment. It felt odd having to care for a whole other person that depended on you for everything but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! And I knew Nik wouldn't. He took his role as a father seriously and since she's been here he's been a totally different person. Seeing him interact with her made me smile and happy in every way possible.
Once I was done dressing her she laid there looking around at everything until her eyes landed on Nik who was walking in and all of a sudden she was all smiles
"You never smile like that when you see me" I joked
"Don't hate cuz she a daddy girl" He picked her up kissing her forehead
"Mhmmm" I laughed a little putting on my sneakers and my shades off the dresser." You ready?"
"Yes ma'am" He placed Keh in her car seat strapping her in before carrying it downstairs and to the car.
He placed her in the backseat placing the seatbelt where it was supposed to be making sure it was secure before getting in the driver seat.
"You know I go back on tour in a couple of weeks..." He looked over at me then back at the road
"Yeah I know..."
Everything was fine and dandy with Nik being home but reality was soon going to be kicking in and Nik was going to be going back on tour very soon and there was nothing I could do about it! I was ready to have some one on one time with my little princess but I don't know if I would be able to handle it.
Pretty soon we arrived at the doctors office. I got out and grabbed her diaper bag from the backseat while Nik took her out her car seat. It was only a few people in the waiting room which was good. I sat down and pulled out my phone texting Lucy back.

"LuLu good?" He looked over at my phone
"Yeah...when do you go back on tour?"
"Three weeks and I already know what you thinkin' when I have some downtime I'll come and see y'all and while I'm gone ma insisted on watching him anytime you had to work or if you needed help. I already got everything taken care off and you already know if sum happen I'm on my way back" He informed me
It all sounded good and everything but I liked having Nik around. I felt so safe and secure with him... it's a hard feeling to explain.
"I know I'm really gonna miss you"
"Imma miss you too baby, but don't worry bout nun"
After Lil ma doctor appointment I headed to Lucy's house to see what she needed. Only heaven knows what she could want pretty soon I was there. Nik decided to wait in the car while I run in. I used my spare key and headed inside
"Lucy the life size Barbie!!"
"Real funny hoe! I'm upstairs"
I laughed and went upstairs to where she was. "Wassup?"
"I'm pregnant"
"Stop playing... what is it for real"
She grabbed my hand pulling me into the bathroom. "I'm pregnant!!"
I looked at the pregnancy tests on the counter and no doubt she was pregnant. I smiled and squealed like a child
"Wait till Nik finds out!!" I ran out the room
"NO! This stays between us until they get back from this tour!!" She pointed at me. "Keep your mouth shut"
"Mmmm your no fun" I pouted whining while walking out the house
"What's wrong wit you?" Nik asked once I was back in the car
"Nothing at all"
It seemed like nothing but blessings this way!

I patted Lanie's back while she gummed her fist. I don't know why but it was the cutest thing to me... being a dad has most definitely changed my way of thinking.. it's a whole different life when you have somebody looking up to you for every little thing.
I looked up as Loni walked into the room with a small towel and rag and I already knew what that meant... bath time which was something this little girl hated!
"Alright so imma give you the run down on what momma gon do.. she gon pretend like she your friend then she gon get on your good side Befo' she go in for the kill"
"Kirshnick Ball!" Loni called from the bathroom
"It's the truth!" I laughed
Shortly after her bath she was dried off, and clothed and had been fed once again. I held her in my lap while she made her self comfortable to fall asleep. I thought now would be a decent time to post our first pic of baby girl publicly.

I closed out of the app and placed my phone on the bed while cradling her in my left arm
"How does it feel to be a daddy now?" Lon smirked sitting next to me
"It feels like I'm in a different type of world... kinda hard to explain"
And it was! But I knew one thing for sure... I wasn't gonna give this up or let my baby girl down!
