Fourteen years later

Camila sighs as she walks into the house, running a tired hand through her hair. "Luce?" She calls out.

"Kitchen." Lucy called back. "Making dinner with Laur and Marley, the kids are doing homework."

Making her way into the kitchen, Camila looks at Lucy. "I need a drink." she mumbles.

"A drink?" Lucy asked. "There's water or milk or juice."

Shaking her head, Camila looks into Lucy's eyes. "I need alcohol."

"Oh." Lucy turned. "The pantry."

Nodding, Camila makes her way into the pantry and grabs the beer from the cooler they keep in there.

"That's the only one you are having tonight." Lucy said.

Rolling her eyes, Camila turns to look at Lucy. "Whatever." She mumbles before leaving the room.

"What's wrong with mama?" Braelynn asks, tilting her head to the side.

Lucy sighed. "She's having a hard time at work." She said softly.

"Oh," Braelynn mumbles, shifting slightly.

"Don't worry about her." Lucy said, running her fingers through Braelynn's hair. "She's Lauren and I's problem."

Nodding her head the seventeen year old frowns. "But she's been drinking a lot and you had to hide the alcohol. You have to hide it everyday."

"I know, it's our problem, not yours." Lucy said softly. "Finish your homework."

"But you're not doing anything." The brown eyed girl mumbles.

"Braelynn, do your homework and stop worrying." Lucy said.

Crossing her arms, the teenager glares at Lucy. "I finished already."

"Help with dinner then." Lucy responded, turning away from her daughter to finish chopping the vegetables.

Standing up, Braelynn gasps and places her hand over her chest. "Mommy,"

Lucy turned. "What? What did I do now to offend you?"

"No," the brown eyed girl breathes out, tears filling her eyes. "Hurts."

"What hurts?" Lucy moved over to her daughter.

"Chest." Braelynn breathes out.

"Shit!" Lucy cursed. "Sit down and take a deep breath."

Doing as she's told, Braelynn sits down but her chest hurts more. "Mommy,"

"I know." Lucy moved over and got Braelynn's inhaler. "Try this." She handed her daughter the inhaler.

Taking the inhaler, Braelynn takes two hits from it but her lips start turning blue, much like when she was younger.

"Shit!" Lucy cursed under her breath. She pulled her phone out and called 911.

Braelynn curls in on herself, gripping at her chest.

"Braelynn sit up straight." Lucy said before talking to the person on the line.

Taking a deep breath, Braelynn sits up and watches Lucy.

Lucy hung up the phone. "I need to take you to the hospital." She said.

Nodding slowly, Braelynn looks up. "Mama?"

Lucy sighed. "I need to take you, your mama has had a drink, she can't drive." She took Braelynn's hand and led her to the car.

Braelynn curls into the front seat. "I'm sorry."

"Don't be sorry." Lucy responded. "Let's just get you checked out."

Nodding her head weakly, Braelynn lays her head against the door.

Lucy started the engine and backed out of the driveway.

Braelynn's eyes fluttered closed.

"Stay awake." Lucy said.

Forcing her eyes open, the teenager takes a deep breath before wincing in pain.

"We are almost there." Lucy said, taking her daughter's hand.

Nodding her head, the younger girl swallows thickly.

It wasn't long before Lucy stopped in the hospital car park and helped Braelynn out of the car and into the hospital.

"Mommy," the younger girl breathes out.

"I know." Lucy said softly.

It wasn't long before Braelynn was being taken back to surgery to find the problem.

Lucy sat down in the waiting room, tapping her foot nervously.

"Hey, how is she?" Lauren asks, making her way over to Lucy.

"She's in surgery." Lucy said, running her fingers through her hair.

Grabbing, Lucy's hand, Lauren kisses her cheek. "I'm sorry."

Lucy shook her head. "She'll be okay."

"I know, but I don't understand what happened." Lauren says softly. "She's been fine for fourteen years."

"The doctor said that her body might reject the heart, I just didn't think it would because it was so long ago." Lucy said.

Nodding her head in agreement, Lauren frowns. "It's weird."

Lucy nodded, leaning against Lauren. "You left the kids alone with Camila?" She asked.

"They're all old enough to take care of themselves now. Plus Remi is there." Lauren responds.

"But still..." Lucy sighed. "I don't want them to get hurt because she's drunk and can't control herself."

"They'll be fine." Lauren responds, rubbing Lucy's back.

Lucy closed her eyes. "Thanks."

Kissing Lucy's forehead, Lauren smiles softly.

Lucy closed her eyes. She drifted off to sleep.

Holding her close, Lauren lays her head against Lucy's.

Eventually a doctor came out and called for Braelynn's parents.

Lucy stands up and makes her way toward him. "How is she?"

"I'm sorry Mrs. Cabello, we lost her." The doctor said sadly.

Shaking her head, Lucy steps backward. "N-no."

"I'm really sorry." The doctor said softly.

"You're wrong." Lucy responds, not believing the doctor.

"I'm sorry." The doctor repeated. "I tried everything but she's gone."

Tears full Lucy's eyes and she backs into Lauren.

Lauren wrapped her arms around Lucy and held her close.

"I'm really sorry." The doctor said again before leaving them alone.

Burying her face in Lauren's neck, Lucy breaks into sobs.

"Shh." Lauren cooed, rocking them. "I'm so sorry."

"She wasn't supposed to die." Lucy sobs out.

"I know, I'm sorry." She whispered.

Lucy doesn't respond as she continues to sob.

"Shh." Lauren cooed, rubbing Lucy's back.

"I have to call Camila." Lucy sobs out.

"Take a deep breath first." Lauren responded.

Nodding her head, Lucy takes a deep breath and pulls out her phone.

Lauren took Lucy's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.

Dialing Camila's number, Lucy closes her eyes and waits for her to pick up.

"Hello?" Camila answered, feeling a little tipsy.

"M-Mila," Lucy sobs out.

"Lucy?" Camila stumbled slightly.

"Braelynn's dead." the older girl sobs out.

"W-what?" Camila hiccuped.

Lucy takes a deep breath and curls into Lauren. "Braelynn is dead."

"No." Camila breathed.

The older girl doesn't respond as she is once again taken over by sobs.

She heard Camila crying over the phone.

****

Camila wakes up with a gasp and gets up, heading for Braelynn's room.

Braelynn was sound asleep in her bed.

Camila let out a sigh of relief and closed her eyes, leaning against the doorframe, breathing heavily. She swallowed.

"Camz? Are you okay? Why are you awake?" Lauren asked softly.

"I had a nightmare." Camila responds softly.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Lauren asked softly.

"I think I just need a drink." Camila responded.

Lauren frowns slightly and grabs Camila's hand. "Stop drinking."

Camila turned to Lauren with a hooded look in her eyes. She pulled her hand from Lauren's and walked away.

"Camila, I'm serious. If you keep drinking you won't be allowed around our baby." Lauren says, forgetting that she didn't tell Camila.

Camila froze, she turned to face Lauren. "What the hell did you just say?"

"I'm pregnant." Lauren responds slowly.

"How far along?" Camila frowned, staring at the green-eyed girl.

Biting her lip, Lauren takes a deep breath. "Two months."

"When did you find out?" Camila asked.

"Two days ago." Lauren responds softly.

Camila looked Lauren up and down. "I still need a drink." She said before turning away.

"So you would put drinking over your family?" Lucy asks, standing right in front of her.

Camila looked Lucy up and down. "You don't understand." She moved around the older girl.

"I don't understand? You're the one coming home everyday and getting drunk. You've missed three of Remi's soccer games. Blake's football game and several of Braelynn's dance performances." Lucy snaps out.

"You've missed all of Marley's performances with the glee club." Lauren added.

"The life of a cop is hard!" Camila snapped back.

Frowning, Lucy shakes her head. "If Justin can take time out of being a cop to be there for Ally and their kids then so can you."

Camila shook her head. "I'm to busy, I can't."

"He's your partner!" The oldest girl snaps out, growing frustrated.

"Mom, mama?" Braelynn's soft voice comes from behind Lauren, the seventeen year old was rubbing at her eyes tiredly.

Camila shook her head and walked away to get a bottle of beer.

Frowning, Braelynn looks down, thinking she had somehow upset Camila again.

"Braelynn, this isn't your fault." Lucy said softly. She moved over to her daughter and pulled her into her arms. "It's not your fault."

"Mom?" Marley sheepishly came out of her room and looked at Lauren.

Braelynn buries her face in Lucy's neck, her hands shaking as she grips onto her mother's shirt.

Lauren sends Marley a soft smile and holds her arms open for her youngest.

Marley cautiously walked over to Lauren and wrapped her skinny arms around her mother.

Kissing Marley's forehead, Lauren shares a look with Lucy.

"Mom, I'm scared." Marley mumbled. She was nervous about the glee clubs sectionals tomorrow.

"Don't be scared. You've got this." Lauren whispers softly.

Marley shook her head. "What if I don't fit in the dress today, I didn't fit in my Sandy costume for Grease." She mumbled.

"You will fit in your dress, I promise." Lauren responds softly, pulling away and looking into her daughter's eyes. "Just remember that winning isn't everything, no matter what anyone else says."

"They're counting on me to win this." Marley mumbled. She couldn't look her mother in the eye.

****

"Mama?" Braelynn asks softly, making her way into the house after school.

Camila was lying on the couch watching television with a bottle of beer in her hand. She'd been sent home from work because she was hung over.

"Can I go to a party tonight?" Braelynn asks, sitting beside Camila on the couch.

"Huh?" Camila grunted before sitting up and taking a long drink of the beer.

Sighing, Braelynn looks at Camila. "Can I go to a party tonight?" She asks again.

"Um... ask your mom." Camila said, standing up and taking another drink.

Rolling her eyes, Braelynn takes the beer from Camila. "I thought I was asking an adult but you're acting like a child. Maybe you should go to rehab since you're an alcoholic."

"Braelynn! Give me my beer back!" Camila snapped, snatching the beer from her daughter's hand.

"What's going on in here?" Lauren asked as she came into the room.

Tears fill Braelynn's eyes and she covers her face. "She won't stop drinking."

"I know." Lauren nodded. "Just leave her. Did you have a question?" She asked.

"I just wanted to know if I could go to a party tonight." The brown eyed girl whispers.

"Um... well Marley has her sectionals competition tonight and she got us all tickets." Lauren said. "And she's really nervous, she could really use our support, everyone's support."

Swallowing thickly, Braelynn looks up at Lauren. "Nobody ever goes to my dance performances."

Lauren closed her eyes and sighed heavily. She opened her eyes and looked at Braelynn. "I think you should ask your mom."

"Mom isn't here and all mama does is drink." Braelynn responds before rushing off to her room and slamming the door.

Lauren sighed, she ran her fingers through her hair.

Camila takes yet another drink of her beer.

Lauren rolled her eyes. "You need to stop."

"Why?" Camila asks, not looking at Lauren at all.

"Because it's ruining your relationship with your kids and Lucy and me." Lauren responded.

Finally looking up, the younger girl takes a deep breath. "It's the only thing I can control."

"What?" Lauren asked confused, she frowned.

"I can't control what happens here or at work, but I can control how much alcohol I drink." The brown eyed girl responds.

Lauren stared at Camila, not understanding what the younger girl meant.

"Of course, you wouldn't understand." Camila mumbles.

Lauren looked Camila up and down before sighing. "What's the supposed to mean?"

"You and Lucy have been so caught up in each other that it's annoying." The younger girl mumbles.

"No we haven't." Lauren argued.

Standing up, Camila rolls her eyes and stumbles slightly. "Doesn't matter."

Lucas and Rowen walk into the house  arguing over something random.

Lauren sighed. "Forget it." She muttered, turning away from Camila.

Camila grabs her arm and pulls her into a rough kiss.

Lauren tensed, freezing in place.

Backing her into a wall, Camila keeps their lips connected.

Lauren winced. She didn't kiss Camila back. She just stood there.

"Kiss me back," Camila growls out before kissing her once more.

Lauren pushed Camila back. "No! You have alcohol breath and I have to go to Marley's show." She moved away quickly and grabbed her keys and jacket.

Anger coursed through Camila and she threw the beer bottle she had at Lauren, it smashed against the wall by the door just as Lucy walked in.

Lauren flinched, visibly jumping. She swallowed the lump in her throat and sniffed. She moved to take a two towards the door but the glass crunched under her shoes and she jumped. She wrapped her arms around her stomach.

"What's going on?" Lucy asks, wrapping her arms around Lauren.

Lauren swallowed. "I have to go. Marley has her show." She whispered. The green-eyed girl was shaking and her eyes were watering with tears of fear.

"Let me get changed and I'll drive you, the kids should be ready by now." Lucy says softly.

Lauren shook her head. "You don't have to come." She whispered.

"I promised her I would go." Lucy says softly.

"Braelynn had a question for you." Lauren stepped away. She glanced at Camila before slipping out of the door and getting in her car.

Lucy makes her way to her room and changes clothes before going to Braelynn's room and knocking.

"What?" Braelynn asked. She pulled on a crop top. She was going to that party regardless of what Lucy said.

"Lauren told me you had a question for me." Lucy says softly.

"Well, it's not really a question... more of a statement." The seventeen year old said. "I'm going to a party tonight." She adjusted her high waisted shorts and looked at herself in the mirror.

"Okay, but at least wear a jacket and be careful." The older woman says softly.

Braelynn smiled. "I wouldn't leave home without the jacket." She said. "It's cold out."

Smiling softly, Lucy moves over to her and fixes her hair for her. "If you drink, don't get in the car with someone who is drunk, call me or Ben."

Braelynn nodded. "Okay." She turned to her mother. "Thanks." She smiled before grabbing her jacket and leaving.

Lucy sighed. She left the room and went outside.

Lauren was sitting in the passenger side of her car, sobbing quietly as she waited for Lucy.

The rest of the kids were in Ben's car including Marley.

"Ready?" Lucy asks softly, wrapping her arm around Lauren.

Lauren forced back a sob and nodded. She wiped her eyes and took a deep breath.

Marley was staring out of the window. She was incredibly hungry but she hadn't eaten anything, afraid she wouldn't fit into her dress.

Ben turns to face Marley and holds out a granola bar. "It has no carbs." He says softly.

Marley shook her head. She pushed he food away. "I'm fine." She said. "Can we go?"

Sighing, Ben starts the car and pulls out of the driveway.

Marley stared out of the window, tapping her foot anxiously.

"You've got this." Ben says softly.

Marley turned her head slightly. "Thanks." She mumbled.

****

Braelynn was half wasted as she danced with some random guy.

The guy smiled at her. "This is a great party!" He yelled over the music.

Nodding her head, Braelynn leans against him, struggling to stay standing. "I need to use the bathroom!" She yells to him over the music.

"I didn't need to know that!" The guy yelled back. "But okay!"

Making her way to the upstairs bathroom, Braelynn frowns in confusion as she leaves, feeling nauseous.

The feeling passed after a moment and she considered going home.

Reaching into her pocket she goes to grab her phone only to pass out.

An hour later

Groaning, Braelynn woke up with a pounding headache. She reached up and rubbed her forehead.

"We should get you dressed." a male says softly from beside her.

Flinching, Braelynn groaned again.

"Let me help you." He says, his british accent clearer than before.

"Fuck off!" Braelynn pulled her arm from his hand.

"I didn't do it, I walked in as the guy was leaving. You're at my party." The british teen says softly.

"Do what? What are you talking about? Who are you?" Braelynn asked. She was really confused and her head was killing her.

"Names James, you were drugged and I believe the guy you were dancing with raped you." James says softly.

"He what?" Braelynn breathed. "Fuck! My mom is going to kill me." She whispered. She looked at the time on her phone. "Shit! Marley's performance!" She'd only planned on coming to the party for an hour or two and then planned to go to Marley's performance, like she'd promised the younger girl.

James offers her his hand. "I can take you home."

"I can't go home. I have to go to McKinley High. My sister had sectionals." Braelynn moved to pull on her clothes and fix her hair.

"I'll drive you." James says with a soft smile.

"Thanks. Wait, you haven't had anything to drink? At your own party?" Braelynn asked in disbelief.

"I don't drink, my step-sister threw the party." James responds with a shrug.

"Oh." Braelynn pulled on her jacket and picked up her phone.

"Want that ride?" James asks again.

"Sure." Braelynn said cautiously.

Leading her out to the car, James smiles softly. "You okay?"

"I don't know." Braelynn told him honestly. "I made a promise to my sister and I'm late."

"It's not your fault." The older boy says with a soft smile.

Braelynn shook her head. "I just... I need to go."

Smiling, the blue eyed teen opens the car door for Braelynn. "I'll get you there."

Braelynn got into the car and sighed heavily. She ran her fingers through her hair to try and straighten it.

****

"I can't do this." Marley mumbles as she watches Vocal Adrenaline perform.

Jake grabbed her head. "Yes you can. I believe in you." He whispered in her ear, squeezing her hand gently.

Closing her eyes, Marley leans into him. "What if I mess up?"

"You won't. I promise." Jake whispered.

Nodding her head, the fifteen year old takes a deep breath. "Thank you."

Jake smiled softly, squeezing her hand again.

"Now calling from Lima, Ohio: the McKinley High New Directions!" The announcer yells out.

The New Directions ran out on stage. Marley swallowed her nerves as she stopped in position.

Halfway through the performance, Marley collapses.

"Marley?!" Jake ran over and bent down beside her.

Ryder joined him.

Their performance stopped.

Lucy gets up and rushes toward the stage, going into nurse mode.

Lauren ran over behind Lucy and ran up on stage. "Marley!"

Mr. Schuester and Finn were now kneeling down beside Marley.

"I need everyone to back up." Lucy commands calmly.

The students moved out of the way. They looked at the audience, knowing their chances of winning were gone.

Kneeling beside Marley, Lucy checks her pulse. "Schuester, call 911!"

Mr. Schuester nodded and pulled out his phone, calling 911 as fast as he could.

Lucy keeps her attention on Marley, being careful with the fifteen year old.

"Lucy, what's going on?" Lauren asked worriedly.

Taking a deep breath, Lucy turns to look at Lauren. "Her pulse is weak."

"What?" Lauren frowned.

"It can be a sign of dehydration or her heart just isn't pumping fast enough." The oldest girl says calmly.

Lauren paled. "Tell me she'll be okay?" She pleaded.

"I can't make promises." Lucy responds softly.

Several hours later

Lucy made her way home and went to check on Braelynn who she found curled up in a ball on her bed.

"Brae, did you have fun at the party?" Lucy entered the room slowly and sat down on the edge of the bed.

Wiping her eyes, the seventeen year old looks up at Lucy. "Something happened at the party mommy." She whispers.

"What?" Lucy quirked her right brow in question.

"I-I got drugged and I think I was raped." Braelynn whispers, more tears filling her eyes.

Lucy's eyes widened. "We need to get you to the hospital, so they can check."

"I'm sorry," the seventeen year old whispers.

"Get up, let's go." Lucy said gently.

Slowly, Braelynn gets up and looks at her mother. "I'm sorry."

"Stop. These things happen and it's an accident. We'll deal with it." Lucy said. She took her daughter's hand and led her to the car.

Getting in the passenger seat, Braelynn curls into a ball. "How's Marley?"

"I don't know." Lucy told her daughter honestly. "The doctors haven't said anything yet."

Leaning her head against the window, the brown eyed teen closes her eyes. She was an exact replica of Camila just skinnier.

It wasn't long before they were at the hospital.

"What if I did get raped and I get pregnant?" The teen asks worriedly.

Lucy took a deep breath. "Then we'd deal with it." She said softly.

"It's my fault, I shouldn't have taken that drink." Braelynn mumbles under her breath.

"Everyone makes mistakes." Lucy said. "Let's just get you checked out."

Taking a deep breath, Braelynn slowly gets out of the car.

Lucy got out out of the car and took Braelynn's hand, leading her to the hospital doors.

Two hours later

Braelynn was curled into a ball in the passenger seat on the way home. Tears were streaming down her cheeks.

"Braelynn, please don't cry." Lucy pleaded.

The teen glances toward her before looking down and continuing to softly sob.

"I'm sorry this happened to you." Lucy responded. "If I could turn back time, I'd stop you from going to that party but you'd probably hate me for that and that would be okay because you'd be safe and none of this would have happened." She took a deep breath and reached over the center console to connect her hand with her daughter's. She gave it a soft squeeze. "I'm sorry." She whispered.

"It's my fault." The younger girl whispers.

"No it's not." Lucy said, she squeezed Braelynn's hand again. "It's not."

Closing her eyes, Braelynn takes a deep breath. "I just want to go home."

"We are almost there." Lucy said softly.

Nodding her head slowly, the younger girl goes back to looking out the window.

It wasn't long before they pulled up outside the house.

Braelynn quickly gets out of the car and runs inside.

Lucy sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. She didn't know what to do. She sat in her car for a while before deciding to call Lauren and see how Marley was.

"Hey Luce," Lauren says softly upon answering the phone.

"Hey, Laur. How's Marley?" Lucy asked softly.

A soft sigh escapes Lauren. "They said she's been taking diet pills and has an eating disorder.

Lucy swallowed. "An eating disorder?" She asked slowly, not wanting to upset Lauren.

"She's been starving herself." Lauren breathes out.

"Oh... why?" Lucy swallowed.

"She said because she couldn't fit in her costume for Grease, so she wanted to be skinny enough for sectionals." The younger girl says softly.

"But she's always been skinny... too skinny in my opinion." Lucy whispered.

Lauren clears her throat. "I think someone changed her dress in Grease."

"Changed it? What do you mean?" Lucy asked, confused.

"Tightened the waistband of her dress." Lauren responds.

"You seriously think someone would do that?" Lucy asked, shifting in the seat.

"Yeah, Marley told me about a girl named Kitty that's been picking on her." The younger girl responds.

"We need to do something about that girl." Lucy took a deep breath. "I'm coming to see you guys." She started the engine on her car.

"Okay," Lauren says before hanging up the phone.

Lucy drove to the hospital for the third time that night.

****

Three months later

Braelynn bites her lip as she walks into her mom and mama's room. "Mom," she whispers.

"Huh?" Lucy rubbed her eyes and propped herself up on her elbows.

"I took the test." Braelynn mumbles softly.

"At three in the morning?" Lucy glanced at the clock and yawned. "What did it say?" She asked, sitting up and rubbing her eyes again. She pushed her hair out of her face and took a deep breath.

Swallowing thickly, the seventeen year old fights back tears. "It was positive."

Lucy stared at Braelynn for a moment. "What do you want to do?" She asked cautiously. "Personally, I don't think you are ready to be a mother, physically or mentally, but that's just my opinion."

"I don't know." Braelynn whispers.

"You don't know?" Lucy asked softly.

Shaking her head, Braelynn looks down feeling ashamed.

"Well, your options are: keep it, have it and give it up for adoption or get an abortion." Lucy told her softly.

"I-I can't kill it." Braelynn whispers.

Lucy took a deep breath. "What then?"

Tears fill Braelynn's eyes and she looks up at her mom. "W-would you kick me out if I kept him or her?"

Lucy shook her head. "No, I just don't think you should because you're young. I don't want your life to get ruined." She sighed. "I don't want you to follow in my footsteps."

Nodding her head slowly, Braelynn takes a deep breath. "I don't know what I want to do yet."

"Go back to bed and get some sleep. You don't have to decide right away." Lucy said softly, she kissed Braelynn's head.

Nodding her head, Braelynn stands up. "Night mom, I love you."

"Good night, I love you too." Lucy laid back down.

Going to her room, Braelynn curls up on her bed and tries to fall asleep.

Lucy sighed heavily. She ran her fingers through her hair. There was no way she'd get to sleep now.

Groaning, Camila shifts in the bed and pulls Lucy closer. "What's wrong?"

"Braelynn is pregnant." Lucy pulled away and sat up. "I don't know what to do. She's too young to have a kid. I don't want her to follow in my footsteps."

Sitting up, Camila looks at Lucy. "What does she want to do?"

"She doesn't know." Lucy responded.

"Should we talk to her? I mean I don't want her to make our mistake either, but it's really her choice." The younger girl says softly.

"Let her sleep." Lucy responded.

Nodding her head, Camila lays back down. "Come here." She says softly, holding her arms out to Lucy.

Lucy pushed her hair out of her face and sighed. "I don't know if I can deal with this." She whispered.

"Deal with Braelynn being pregnant or us?" Camila asks, scared of what the answer will be.

Lucy nodded.

Frowning, Camila sits up. "I guess I'll go sleep in the guest room." She mumbles, Lauren had Marley staying with her.

Lucy frowned. "Why?"

"You just said you couldn't deal with us and Brae being pregnant." Camila responds, getting up and grabbing her favorite pillow. "Figured I'd leave you alone then."

Lucy shook her head. "I can't deal with Brae being pregnant." Lucy mumbled.

Sighing, Camila climbs back onto the bed and rolls onto her side. "Are you ever going to let me touch you without pulling away?"

Lucy shrugged. "I just don't understand why you had to drink."

"I was just really stressed." Camila mumbles softly.

"You could have talked to someone." Lucy said.

Sighing, Camila sits up and looks at Lucy. "I didn't want to put these issues on you or Lauren."

"But that's what we are here for." Lucy responded.

"I know." Camila says softly, moving closer to Lucy.

"So why didn't you speak to us?" Lucy asked.

Biting her lip, Camila cups Lucy's cheek and looks into her eyes. "I was scared that you wouldn't think of me the same."

"Why would I do that?" Lucy asked.

"I had to kill someone." Camila whispers.

"You had to kill someone?" Lucy asked.

Nodding her head, Camila swallows thickly. "There was a shootout going on and one of my men went down. I had to shoot or I would be next."

"It was self defence." Lucy responded.

"But I killed someone." The younger girl whispers.

"In self defence." Lucy repeated.

Swallowing thickly, Camila moves closer and buries her face in Lucy's neck.

"It was self defence." Lucy wrapped her arms around Camila.

Relaxing against her, Camila just holds Lucy close. "I'm sorry."

"Don't apologise. Let's just get some sleep." Lucy said softly as she lay down on the bed.

Curling around Lucy, the younger girl closes her eyes and falls asleep.

Lucy sighed heavily. She ran her fingers through Camila hair.
