Luna's POV
I groaned, sitting up in my seat. After getting into high school, I was getting real tired of people asking me questions. I mean, really. It's not even the teachers, it's the students. I frowned, leaning back. I sighed.
I hate high school.
I felt something hit the back of my head. I saw a piece of paper on the ground. I picked it up, looking at it. I uncrumpled it.
You're hot Luna. -Bryson
I looked behind me. The class jock winked at me. I rolled my eyes, tossing the ball across the room into the trash can. I blew hair out of my face. The bell rang. I got up, picking up my stuff.
"So... Luna... I see you read my note."
Bryson leaned on my desk. I looked at him.
"And?"
"I was wondering... You maybe wanna-?"
"LUNA!!"
I turned my head. Goten and Trunks stood at the door, waving at me.
"You maybe wanna go on a date with me?"
I was already in front of the two.
"What's up guys? How was class Goten?"
"H-HEY!!"
I walked with the two in the hall.
"Was Bryson bothering you again," Trunks muttered with a frown.
"Yeah, not that I cared, as you could see, I ignored the fuck out of him."
I pulled down my sleeve.
"Yeah. Doesn't he know no?"
"Of course not."
I shook my head.
"Well, maybe it's your charm. I mean, Dad says you do have Mom's charm?"
"I have her charm?"
"According to Gohan, people would stop just to hear Mom speak. Then they'd ask her to call them. It doesn't even make sense, which is funny. We'd be right on her hip, and that wouldn't even stop them."
"I knew about that, I'm just surprised that I have her charm."
"They call her a Queen."
"She kinda is. I mean, she's the leader of the clan."
I shrugged.
"Well, I wouldn't call you a Queen," Trunks muttered.
I glared at him.
"And why do you say that?"
"I'd say Goddess, but if you're going to get angry, then I should stick to Queen."
My face flushed red.
"Sh-Shut up!!! Go ahead, Goddess has a ring to it."
I tapped my finger on my chin. Trunks chuckled.
"Alright then, Your Majesty."
"That's my mom, you call me Young Master Yin, and you call Goten: Young Master Goten."
Trunks blinked twice.
"...And this is why I don't joke with you sometimes."
I puffed my cheeks out.
"Yeah, yeah."
I huffed. He ruffled my hair.
"HEY!!! It took me 3 minutes to put this up."
He laughed.
"RRRRRIIIIGGGHHHTTT."
"Seriously, I counted the time, 3 minutes and 48 seconds," Goten nodded.
We all laughed. We're making fun of girls who take more than 5 minutes to do their hair, you know, trying to be funny? Yeah? Okay.
"Luna!!!"
I turned my head but still kept walking. It was Bryson, and his squad of jocks who think they could get any girl they wanted.
"Oh? It's you. What's up?"
I kept my hand on my hip as my other held my stuff. I raised an eyebrow.
"Alright Doll, I don't think you heard me in class. Wanna go on a date with yours truly?"
He motioned to himself with a smirk. I stared.
"Trunks, did you change your name to 'Yours Truly'?"
"No," He chuckled.
"Hmm. Okay... Then no."
I turned around and walked away.
"Dude, you got shut down."
"Rejected!!"
"I have to say, that's a bit sad. She didn't even want you."
"Err... What does he have that I don't?"
"Years of experience, total trust of her, friendship."
"I'm talking about the guy next to her."
"They know we can hear them, right," Goten asked me.
"Let idiots be idiots."
We were walking at least 3 feet ahead of them. Trunks sighed.
"Dude, black hair or lavender?"
"Black hair!!"
"If you truly knew me, then you could tell this is my brother," I patted Goten's arm and walked ahead.
Trunks hooked an arm around my shoulders.
"Are we playing tonight or no?"
He looked at me. I laughed.
"For me to school you in FPS is so fun, but if we're co-op, we're going Halo, got it?"
"I wanna co-op to finish the campaign."
"Then yeah, I'm on tonight."
He kissed my temple.
"You're great."
I smiled... Of course, I was dating Trunks. Didn't you know that?
"I know that quite well."
He frowned.
"You know my Chinese is bad."
"I know that too."
"What did you say?"
"I said, I know that quite well."
"Ah, right."
"I love you."
"I know what that means though."
He kissed my cheek then.
"Well of course, I taught you that."
"I love you too Luna."
I nodded my head.
Yin's POV
I ruffled my hair, staring at the canvas that settled in the sunlight.
"I want you to be there."
"M-Me? Why?"
"Why not?! You're my best friend with Krillin! You both have to be there."
"A-Ah, I see... I understand. Of course."
I nodded with a fake smile.
"Great!!!"
Goku got up and ran off.
"Yin!!"
"Yeah?"
"What are you doing? You should go to him! He won the tournament!"
"Already did."
"What? No, you didn't. You've been sitting here the entire time!"
"I said congratulations. I'm fine sitting here."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm fine Bulma."
I looked at her. She sat next to me.
"Oh... honey..."
She wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me to her chest. I placed a hand on her arm.
"I'm sorry."
"...I'm sorry too."
"Hey Hun!!"
I jumped up, barely touching the canvas with the paint. I turned my head.
"Hi Goku, what's up?"
He set a bag down.
"I'm going off to train for a bit, you don't mind right?"
I shook my head.
"Just come back safely."
He nodded.
"Yin... Can I say... Do you remember when I first saw you painting?"
I nodded.
"Yep, you told me I could tell you anything then."
"I did, and it still applies now."
"I know that too."
"Why do you ask?"
"I'm just saying you can tell me no."
I blinked twice.
"Why should I? I don't have a reason to."
"You... don't?"
"No, I don't. I'm pretty satisfied. You've made me angry, yes, but that's because of your simple-minded stupidity. Your training has never bothered me, I trained with you for a long time too. I've been there, and when you just can't stop training, I understand. So, don't worry about it. Go ahead. Have fun."
I smiled softly. He leaned down, kissing my cheek. He sat next to me, looking in the opposite direction I was.
"I don't really have to leave soon, so I can sit here for a bit."
I leaned on his arm, shutting my eyes.
"Love you Big Guy."
"Love you too Hun."
Do I ever wonder What Happened? Yes, I do.
