Three weeks later -
Lily's POV:
I was a week away from my due date and I felt as if I was already ready to pop. I wanted him to be out already he was making me suffer but I couldn't blame the little bundle of joy because if he wasn't there for me then I don't know who would be, he's just a baby so I can't blame him for anything he did nothing wrong, yes, it's Jakes baby the person I hate the most in this entire world but the baby isn't at fault for that and I shouldn't be able to think about giving my baby away or not loving it just because of some stupid ass lowlife guy. This baby was my everything and I already love him so much I couldn't wait till I get the chance to hold him.
I was sitting on my sofa at six in the morning because it's been getting really hard to sleep during the night, this little muchkin keeps mommy up all night by kicking her, he's going to be a soccer player lol. I got interrupted by my phone ringing and I already knew who it was considering that I don't talk to anyone else.
(L) hey noodles what's up ?
(J) Lily ? ....um it's actually Zach.
(L) oh um uh hi Zach how have you been ? And why do you have jacks phone ?
*even though zachs on the phone I'm still going to put (j) just cause it's jacks phone.
(J) well I was going through jacks phone because um, idk why but I saw your contact name so I wanted to see if it was actually you.
(L) ummm, jacks not going to be to happy with you going through his phone but I guess you caught on...
(J) you and jack have been secretly talking after you broke Daniels heart ? Really ? Why would jack do that to his best friend.
(L) it's not like that Zach, I can explain everything later just don't go around telling anyone please.
(J) yea don't go around telling anyone that jacks been talking secretly to a girl that his best friend was in love with and still is ? That's pathetic. Here I'll give it back to your boyfriend.
Jacks POV:
" here's your girlfriend that you hid from us the whole time and not to mention that your best friend Daniel still loves, I can't believe you'd stab him in the back like that jack " Zach said walking up to me and chucking my phone at me.
" what the hell are you talking about Zach !? And why the fuck were you in my phone are you stupid ? " I said getting a bit loud, I was mad that he'd even think about going through my phone like who is he to do that shit ?
" you know what I'm talking about. you secretly been talking to lily when you know Daniel is in love with her ! What kind of a best friend are you jack !? " Zach said getting loud with me to. I started to turn red and I can tell he was angry to.
" if you don't know shit then I suggest you don't fucking assume and snap at me like that"
" clearly I know because that's why you've been technically forcing Daniel to move on from her because YOU WANTED TO BE WITH HER INSTEAD ! " Zach said and he came forward and shoved me. Little boy Zachary really did that ?
" are you fucking sure you want me to be the person that you shove ? Cause I will snap you in half in less than a second " I said clenching my fist.
" DO IT YOU SNAKE " Zach screamed and then I didn't look back, I just punched him right in the face causing his lip to bust open. He revived himself and punched me back getting me right on my nose. It started bleeding and right when I was about to punch him one more time Daniel, Jonah & Corbyn came running in, Daniel and Corbyn held me back while Jonah got Zach.
" WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE ? " Daniel said screaming at both Zach and I.
" oh my gosh you guys are like brothers how can you do this to each other " Jonah said stepping into the conversation.
" well yea ? Brothers don't secretly date their best friends love behind his back ! Go ahead jack explain yourself to Daniel " Zach said smirking. Oh I'm going to smack this boy I swear to god. I took a quick glance at Daniel and he seemed hurt.
" jack what is he talking about ? " Daniel asked looking into my eyes with sorrow, I felt bad but Zach's making it seem like more of a problem than it should be. I can't tell them the truth because it'll just hurt lily if she knew that the rest of the guys had found out.
" Daniel he's making it seem like something it's not, just please believe me that there's been nothing going on between us I was just there for her this whole time because she needed someone like really bad " I said trying to make sense but not tell them at the same time.
" stop bullshiting, I saw you two had a lot of calls in the past few months ! Just sad to think that your best friend could ever do that to you " Zach said pulling his arms away from Jonah and walking to the back of the bus.
" how can you do that to me ? " Daniel said putting his head down.
" Daniel hear me ou- " i said but then got cut off by him.
" no no no , it all makes sense because you were the one who kept telling me to move on, but turns out it was only because you wanted to be the one to talk to her " he said putting his head in his hands. UGH these guys just don't freaking understand anything I swear. If you just give someone time to explain themselves then you would take everything you said back but people are to judgmental and ignorant that they only want to know that what they believe is right and that's really stupid. I didn't even want to explain myself anymore because I was just too annoyed and mad for that rn.
" Lily's fucking pregnant and I've been the only one there for her AS A FRIEND ! And by the way ! She still fucking loves you, so I hope your happy and tell your stupid friend Zach to not judge something if he doesn't know the real story behind it bye now have a good day ! " I spat at all of the guys who had shocked looks on their face.
Lily's POV:
I quickly hung up the phone right when Zach started going off on jack of supposedly talking to me while his best friend is still in love with me. Wait ....Daniel still loves me ? Even after all these months gone by he still loves me ? My heart felt this little pain because if I could wish for anything in this world it would be to be with Daniel. I just couldn't get over the thought that he still loved me and I was going to have someone else's baby soon. This is still so surreal to me. Anyways I decided to hang up the phone not having to hear another word from Zach. It was getting me angry that he assumed things and made jack look bad when in reality he's the only one who was there for me. I started tearing up because all this was my fault. Damn you stupid hormones !
Daniels POV:
Jack stormed out of the bus. I still couldn't process what I just heard coming out of his mouth. Lily's pregnant ? What the hell ! Was it jacks ? No it can't be he just said he was there for her as friends so it can't be. Jakes with someone knew so it can't be his either....who's is it ? I needed answers right now.
" did anyone of you know about this ? " I asked looking at Zach, Jonah and Corbyn. They all shook their heads. It was probably pretty unbelievable for them as well.
"Zach you're a dick, I think you should go apologize to jack he's pretty offended" Jonah said shaking his head.
" let's get you cleaned up first come here " I said bringing Zach into the bathroom and wiping his bloody lip. We never had a situation where any of us fist fought like that. I guess jachary took a turn.
" Daniel ? " corbyn said walking into the bathroom as I was helping Zach out. I just simply replied with a hm.
" are you okay with what you just heard ? "
" I don't know how I feel man, I can't get over her no matter what she does " I said shaking my head, I seriously couldn't get over her.
" you're going to have to this time bud I'm sorry " Jonah said putting his hand on my shoulder letting me know that it'll be okay.
" who's is it though? Jakes with someone knew so if she's bearly pregnant then it's not his " I said looking at all of the guys expect jack. They just all replied with a " idk " so I let it go.
" are you done cleaning up ? " Jonah asked Zach and I.
" yea I'm all good " Zach said.
" now go find jack and apologize to him, don't say no or I'll hurt you and hurry cause we're gonna be late for our interview " Jonah said basically pushing Zach out of the bus to go find jack and apologize to him.
Jacks POV:
I was sitting at a little rest stop that we were at for our tour and we had an interview today, it wasn't going to go good considering that my nose was bleeding and Zach's lip was busted open, I had completely forgotten that lily was on the phone I should probably call her. As I was getting my phone out someone called out to me.
" Jack I'm sorry for everything, you're right I shouldn't have just assumed things I just felt bad for Daniel because he really love-" Zach started saying but then I cut him off by hugging him. He was my brother and we couldn't fight like that.
" it's okay don't worry about it, I know it was a big shock for all of you I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys she just didn't want Daniel to hate her even though I told her to talk to him a hundred times " I sighed putting my head down.
" jack do you really think we should have anything to do with this girl ? I know Daniel loves her well I don't know if he does after he found out she's pregnant but don't you think it's going to look bad on us ? " Zach said and I just took all that into consideration.
" she just needed someone to be there for her and turns out I was The only one, and I didn't want to leave her alone through all that "
" who's baby is it anyways ? I'm pretty sure Daniel wants some answers were all shocked " Zach said looking at me.
" Zach it's not my business to tell but all I can say is that she still loves Daniel to and he should go talk to her " I said back.
" okay now come on we have a interview to do today " he said and I just nodded following behind him.
Daniels POV:
Zach came back in with jack following behind him and I just smiled at the thought that they made up with each other. I quickly grabbed Zach and pulled him to the side without anyone seeing us.
" did you get answers for me ? " I asked impatiently waiting to see what he says.
" he said it's not his business to tell but he gave you some advice and said that he thinks you should talk to her " I just nodded my head and thinking wether or not if I should talk to her.
" and Daniel ....." Zach said placing his hand on my shoulder. "What " I said looking at him confused as to what he wanted to say.
" jack told me that she still loves you "
When Zach had told me that I wasn't sure how to react because now she's having a baby with someone else and I didn't know how to feel about that. A part of me wanted to be there for her but a part of me wanted to move on, now I'm really stuck between two rocks. But talking to her, I'll take that into consideration.
Lily's POV:
I was sitting down watching tv when something caught my eye. In this show the person said, " give a warm welcome to the band why don't we ! " and the audience went crazy. I saw my boys walk out on stage and I just had a huge smile on my face, wow that's crazy these boys have gotten so far. I looked at each of them and couldn't help but to miss them so freaking much. I finally caught on to Daniel and couldn't keep my eyes off him. Only I know how hard it's been not being with him, only I know how bad I feel for everything I've done to him, it felt good seeing his cute cheeky smile.
The interviewer asked them a bunch of questions about tour and corbyn got asked about Christina which was so cute the way he was blushing every time he would talk about her, I missed her as well. I noticed Zach's lip was busted and he was asked about that, he simply replied that he had fallen and hurt himself but I am not stupid I know when he's lying. Did jack and Zach's phone fight turn violent ? Oh gosh that was all my fault. Lily can't you just do shit on your own and stop making people be there for you when they don't really want to ! I didn't want my hormones to get to me again so I just shrugged that off.
" do the rest of you have any girlfriends or crushes that you'd like to confess ! " the interviewer said and it caused Daniel to blush.
" Daniel " all the guys said at the same time and pointed at him which caused Daniel to turn red and nervous at the same time.
" Daniel tell us who this special lady is " the girl asked him and he just chuckled. God he was so cute but I wonder who it is ? Does he have a new girlfriend now ? I couldn't help but to feel a stinging pain in my chest. Lily he's over you forget about it ! But how come jack told me that he still loves me ? They're just saying that to make you feel better. I couldn't help but to feel that insecure about myself, it sucked to love someone so much but then have it get ruined all the time.
" well um I can't really say her name, but she's amazing and I miss her and I can't seem to get her out of my mind " Daniel said and I just couldn't listen anymore, it's probably his ex girlfriend that he missed so much. I shut the tv off.
Daniels POV:
" oh come on ! Tell us her name ! " the girl kept saying and I was already getting annoyed because I didn't know how I felt about lily at the moment, the guys were chanting at what I should say and it just slipped out.
" um her names uh lily " I said scratching my head and the guys along with the girl who was interviewing us awed which caused me to blush.
Jakes POV:
Really ?? that little faggot is still hooked onto lily ? Doesn't he understand that she doesn't freaking want him !? Only someone that desperate would think she likes him after she told him to leave her alone forever. I got angry at the tv and shut it off. I knew he was talking about my lily. Woah wait ? You're lily ? She's not yours anymore Jake ! I know she's not because I'm the one who ended things, I couldn't let that baby ruin my career like that. Then don't worry about who she's with she's no longer yours so that means she's free for anyone else ! My subconscious was right, why am I worrying ? I have someone way better. Erika is way better than that two faced bitch so I shouldn't even be worrying right ?
Lily's POV:
I started feeling a liquid like thing drip down my leg and I looked down to see what felt like a bunch of water pouring out of my you know what. My eyes went wide. Oh my gosh my water did not just break ! You bet it did. I started panicking and called my doctor I didn't have anyone to drive me so I had no choice but to call my doctor and if he said I have to come in I'll call an ambulance for myself. I called my doctor and he told me to count how far away my contractions are, about a half hour later they were already five minutes apart and the pain was unbearable, I was screaming in agony I've never felt such pain in my life. Once I called the paramedics I couldn't even talk. They had told me that they were on their way.
About 10 minutes later I was put on a stretcher and rushed to the hospital. It didn't feel good knowing that I had no one by my side but that's how my life wanted to be like so I guess that's how it had to be like.
Oh my gosh I can't believe I'm going to see my prince soon. I've been waiting so long to finally hold him tight in my arms and today's going to be that day.
" good evening ma'am, is there anyone that's out in the waiting room that you'd like to bring in with you ? " the nurse said and I just shook my head. God this sucked.
" what about the father of the baby ? Will he be present here ? " she said taking some notes on the clipboard.
" Um I actually don't have anyone here with me, so no one will be present " I said looking down trying not to cry.
" oh I'm so sorry but the nurses here won't let you do this all on your own we're here for you " she smiled and I smiled back. She checked me and said that I was 8 cm dilated and that I would be ready to push very soon. The nerves were kicking in and the pain was getting worse and worse. I demanded for a epidural and after that shot I was relaxed and ready to do this. The doctor came in and told me that I was ready to start pushing.
" okay lily you got this when I say push hold your breathe to the count of ten and then let go and then repeat it are you ready ? " the doctor said getting ready to deliver my baby.
About 15 minutes of pushing, I felt the emptiness inside my body and something was being placed on top of me. My baby boy. I started crying from happiness, he was so beautiful I couldn't believe it went by so fast.
The nurse snapped a quick picture of us :

About an hour of me trying get used to this little bundle of joy the nurse walked in and handed me a piece of paper. On the paper I was forced to write my name and last name, along with the fathers name and last name.
" what if the father isn't in our lives ? " I asked the nurse.
" you'd still have to write the fathers name and last name even if he's not in your life sweetie " the nurse said and I just nodded.
I wrote down , Lily Collins and as I was about to write Jake name my hands started shaking I let a few tears slip down my face. You guys wouldn't understand how hard it was for me to go through all of this alone. I finally got to courage to calm myself and wrote down.
Fathers First name : Jake
Fathers Last name : Paul
" alright thanks and what would you like to name your baby boy fill it in the blank " the nurse nicely smiled. I had a name that I couldn't get off my mind and that's what I was going to name the baby.
Baby's First name : James
Baby's Last name : Collins
James was Daniels middle name .......
