When I got home that day, I said a quick hello to the parents, avoided their typical questions, and then went up to the peaceful sanctuary of my room.
And cried. And cried. And cried again. Then I took a quick break to have dinner ( I mean, I didn't want THEM to know something was up and also, shepherd's pie is not so nice soggy). After this, I went back upstairs to do some homework while, you guessed it, crying my eyes out.
Just so you know, I'm not usually a weepy, whiny person. I don't even cry at Titanic (SHOCK HORROR!) but today I just needed a good sobfest. What was I going to do? It was like everyone in my year hated me. And for what? It wasn't as if I had humongous warts protruding from my skin or I was Hitler's child or anything. Just because one bitch didn't like me, no one could.
Suddenly, a lightbulb went off in my head. Screw Sara and her clone bitch friends. What made them so damn great. The answer: nothing! As Eleanor Roosevelt once said" No one could can make you feel like shit without your say so" or something along those lines. I would go into school tomorrow and show them who's boss. And if it doesn't work out, I can always transfer, right?
