third person's pov
"here are all the details that i have about cai miyoung" xingjie slammed the folders on the table "and please don't disturb us yet. i'm telling you already for the nth time!" xingjie turned his back and decided to go back into his hacking room
justin was amazed by the huge amount of folders compiled "he collected this many?" justin stated as he scanned through the contents
"let's finish this quickly, i'm really worried in what situation she may in" zeren quickly distributed the folders equally to the other guys so that their work could be faster
"wow. this is more difficult than i've ever imagined." quanzhe stated as he looked through the folders one by one
"no location of her house, no info about her family. great!" xinchun muttered as he throws the folder "i'm slowly losing my temper"
"we just started. don't be impatient" quanzhe stated as he picks up the folder that xinchun just throwed
"look, that particular folder doesn't have anything" xinchun raised his hands in defeat
"you like miyoung, right? then prove it to me" zeren smirked "one on one", xinchun just sighed knowing he must prove his worth since he noticed that zeren might like miyoung too
they continue to scan through the folders about an hour and a half already. even chengcheng unwillingly helped because zhengting asked them to do it. at the back of chengcheng's mind, he does have a feeling to go at his childhood friend's house and to look for miyoung but he also thought that he might have mistaken miyoung as his childhood friend's sister and misjudged her.
just the thought of chengcheng misjudging a girl creeps him out. as if it wasn't him who chatted that day.

as a few more hours went by, quanzhe found a childhood picture of miyoung with two boys standing beside her and another picture of miyoung with 11 boys in it
"I FOUND A PICTURE. THIS COULD HELP US" quanzhe shouted which lead for the other boys to take a look at it except for chengcheng
the boys exchanged their looks back and forth from chengcheng and to the picture
the boys suddenly gasped on what they just saw, "what? you make me look like an idiot" chengcheng stated with a confused and disgust look for his friends on his face
"i-is this you?" justin showed the picture to chengcheng in a very slow manner, shaking, chengcheng immediately grabbed the picture and looked
chengcheng gasped which makes the other boys feel nervous "this is me, this is cai miyoung, and" he showed the picture to them while pointing on each face
"this is cai xukun" he paused for a while, "magenta's leader" he started getting teary-eyed as he remembers the memories from the past, the past wherein everything and everyone is at peace
"so you were right!" quanzhe claps and jumps "miyoung is part of the magenta!"
"so that means, we're being fooled?" justin looked through the picture once again
zeren and xinchun just stood there, dumbfounded. they never thought that an innocent girl like miyoung would be part of a big big clan.
"no" chengcheng said "as far as i remember, she doesn't remember anything except her having a brother as her only family"
"that's a pity but atleast we now know where she could be!" quanzhe stated as if a light bulb came out from his head
"i'll try calling xukun, it's been a long time too" chengcheng fished out his phone and looked for a particular number, he immediately dialed it and put it on a speaker

"hey chengcheng, it's been a long time" a deep yet sweet voice has been heard from the phone
"yeah. i just wanted to ask if your sister, miyoung, is she there?"
"my sister? why did you ask?"
"uh one of my friends have an eye for her actually, we just wanted to know her better?"
"you're not good in lying, chengcheng. we've been friends for 10 years. i know that already. tell me, what's the real deal?"
"why don't you just tell him immediately the truth?" justin whisper-yelled which caused him to receive a slap on the shoulder from zeren making him to shut up
chengcheng just sighed before answering to xukun's question, "a few days ago, she went at nongnong's apartment and happened to stay there for awhile because xingjie doesn't want to let her go, i don't know why maybe for security reasons? and now, we received a message from nongnong that if someone asks the information we should give it to them immediately. knowing that miyoung was in the apartment where all the informations are located, one of my friends went there to check if she's still safe but.."
"BUT WHAT?! WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO MY SISTER FAN CHENGCHENG?!?!" a sound of utensils being thrown can be heard from the another side of the line. chengcheng already felt that xukun is angry based from his expression.
chengcheng knew how scary xukun is when he's angry that's why he's being safe but look, here we are.
"she's not there anymore and half of the information are gone" chengcheng is now shaking in fear, stuttering.
"FUCK" that's the last thing they heard from cai xukun before he ended it

"wow. that's really scary." xinchun stated "it feels like, i don't want to date miyoung anymore."
"based on xukun's expression, it seems that miyoung wasn't there too" justin stated
they all sighed knowing they are going to find more and more through the folders so that they could easily find evidence that could let them know where cai miyoung is.
"is there a possibility that she is kidnapped?" zeren stated out of the blue while raising his right hand
"nah. don't think about that. i think mimi has great self-defense skills" justin shook his head
"so, you're like telling me that she's the one who stole those folders?" quanzhe slapped justin's shoulders "that's crazy" then points at justin's face
suddenly, zhengting and wenjun arrived at the living room, panting
"hey, are you okay? did someone chased you?" quanzhe asked
"cai xukun called me and" zhengting paused for awhile to breathe "he wanted to have a meeting with us. all of us. together with magenta."
"wait. what? why?" justin stood up, unable to think what he should do
"just tell the others, xukun gave us the location already. we can't bring any weapons" wenjun told them which made the boys stand immediately and tell the others about the unexpected news
"wow. this could be the first ever peace and real conversation that we will be having" bu fan said as the news reached to him

xingjie told them all the informations that he and xiao gui gathered while they are inside the van. they are all in their best suits. the black van that they are riding stopped infront of a 5-star hotel, they immediately went out and goes inside the hotel.
they went to the receptionist to ask where cai xukun and his team are, "excuse me? we are from mint, and we're here to have an important meeting with the magenta" zhengting stated in a formal manner
"you are mr. zhu zhengting?" the lady asked, zhengting just gave him a nod as an answer
"this way, sir" the lady led the way upon going to the vip rooms and when they entered they saw 11 boys who are waiting inside
"i'm glad you came. please take a seat." xukun offered them to sit infront of them in a long table
zhengting and xukun sits opposite to each other in the both ends of the long table and the remaining 10 people in each clan sit opposite to each other in the long side of the table. if you do it like math, l • w. the remaining 10 people are in the length the main leaders are in the width.
(i just said in the story description that this ain't math. i'm really sorry, i'm not good in explaining 😂 )
"so, what exactly happened to my sister?" xukun asked while tapping the pen on the table
"unknown led her to nongnong's apartment few days ago, and right now she's lost together with the informations" xingjie answered and showed xukun and the other members a few folders for them to read
"let me tell you one thing, i'm the unknown guy. i let her go there to steal information but i guess someone used her before i could finally use her" xukun smirked, the magenta clenched their fists in anger of what they just heard
"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO YOUR OWN SISTER?! ARE YOU THAT HEARTLESS?" wenjun shouted which makes the other members shocked of what he just did
"DON'T YOU DARE TALK BACK TO OUR LEADER. YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO THAT." yanchen shouted back to wenjun
"THEN WHO ARE YOU TO SHOUT AT ME?!?!"
wenjun stood up and about to approach and punch yanchen in the face but justin, who is beside him, grabbed the hem of his suit and stopped him, "calm down, we're not here to fight" justin whisper-yelled which makes wenjun to sit back again and calm down
"kids, calm down. i told you already, behave yourselves. don't put dirt on our name." zhengting said in a very calm voice
"anyways, we are really interested in the information that nongnong kept because he gave us copies too before, not really all actually" ziyi stated
"copies? why would he do that?" xiao gui asked them with a confused look
"oh. because we are also made by nongnong's family." chaoze stated which makes some of the mint members gasped and dropped their jaws

i'm really sorry for the lame update, i think this is bcos i'm so nervous for the upcoming live broadcast later (╥_╥) good luck to my babies! and i'm excited who the center is!
