HONEYMOON
"Rianta, come on. We are getting late" Kyungsoo called.
"I am ready. Coming" She said as she hurriedly came down. She locked the door. Before she went to Kyungsoo she looked at the house for the last time. Their house.
Rianta and Kyungsoo got married just a few days ago. Arrange marriage it was. Rianta heard that Kyungsoo didn't wanna marry her. It was his parents who forced him. Rianta was excited for her marriage obviously like every girl dreams about their marriage. She had also so many dreams. But never asked Kyungsoo because she already knew that he was forced to marry her.
And now Kyungsoo has decided to go for honeymoon. Kyungsoo was always that shy type but he managed to ask her and she said yes.
"You are spacing out. What are you thinking?" Kyungsoo asked Rianta as he carried her luggage.
"Hmm nothing. I will miss being here" She mumbled.
"What!! Trust me you won't. And anyways we are just going China for seven days then we will be back here" He chuckled as he opened the door for his wife. She got into the car.
Kyungsoo is a business man. So he has to be always busy with his busy schedule. And there was Rianta studying law. Kyungsoo gave him a break and Rianta was already having a break.
As a husband Kyungsoo never showed his love for her. But Rianta was really a type of girl who could manage. She knew that her husband needs some time too. So she waited for it. But Kyungsoo has other ways to show her love, he cared for her a lot. He cared for her dreams maybe she didn't know about it. But he cared.
They headed to the airport.
"I am so excited about our.." Rianta stopped herself from saying what she was about to say. They landed in China then.
"Our honeymoon?" Kyungsoo looked into her eyes.
"Yes" She mumbled and looked down to avoid eye contact with her husband.
It was their maybe fifth day of marriage. Still they both felt shy talking to each other lookin straight into the eyes.
"Let's go" Kyungsoo reached out of his hand to Rianta.
She hold his hand not looking at him.
Kyungsoo took out his phone from his pocket and started looking at the map.
"Hmm it should be here" He looked around of him. Then he noticed that Rianta was tired enough. She was sweating.
He took out of a handkerchief and gave it to her. She looked at him with questioning eyes.
"You are sweating. Take this" He handed it to her.
"Ohh its just nothing" Still she took it.
He smiled at her. Then started dragging her.
"You find it?" She asked.
"No. There they are selling ice creams" He replied excitedly pointing at the crowd.
She was looking at him in confusion.
"You like ice creams right and you are feeling hot too" He said the last part slowly.
"Yes" She smiled at him.
Seeing her smiling a heart shaped smile formed on his face too.
"You stay here ok? I am bringing us the ice creams" He disappeared into the crowd then.
"Chocolate flavor for me" Rianta shouted not sure that he heard her or not.
She was waiting there for her husband. Then suddenly a stranger approached her from behind. She was shocked no she was more scared.
The stranger said something in Chinese that she didn't understand. She tried to walk away from him but he grabbed her by the hand and was trying to kiss her.
Then suddenly Kyungsoo appeared and punched the man in face.
"Mr. currently you are flirting the lady with is my wife. So kindly take your ass some where else or otherwise I will kick you in the ass" Kyungsoo said the man in Chinese.
"Chill bro" Then that man left.
"Are you ok? Does it hurt?" Rianta asked him the moment the man left. She noticed that Kyungsoo made a sound ouch after punching him. So she checked him if he was ok or not.
"Not ok. It really hurts" He replied.
"Let me see" She reached out of her hand to see but Kyungsoo moved away.
"What?" She asked.
"I said it hurts but not my hand, it was hurting so bad when I saw you with that man" He said pointing at his heart.
Rianta smiled at him and took out that handkerchief and tied it around his hand.
"It will heal your heart" She chuckled.
"Really?" He raised his eyebrow.
"Hmm" She looked down.
"By the way I am sorry that I couldn't bring ice cream for us" He also looked down and hold her hand.
They started walking towards their destination.
"It's ok. If you didn't come on the right time maybe" Kyungsoo didn't let her finish. He placed his finger on her lips and gestured to stop.
"Issh don't say anything about what could happen. I am your husband obviously I had to come. You know what I always wondered that how the heroes always come on right time to save their heroines. But I think now I got my answer" He chuckled.
"Why?" She asked.
"Cause I love you and I have to protect you" Kyungsoo's answer made Rianta blush. Kyungsoo noticed that.
"I meant the heroes" He corrected.
"So where are we going now?" She changed the topic.
"Hotel. I found it. Let's take taxi. I am tried of walking" He sighed and she nodded. In deep Kyungsoo didn't want her to walk more in those heels she was wearing.
They walked for a moment then took a taxi and headed to the hotel.
"Wow this is beautiful" She amazed.
"Yes beautiful" He said looking at her not the hotel.
"Let's go in" She went in leading the way.
Kyungsoo was behind her following her. He smiled to himself. Finally he could make her happy.
Maybe he was forced to marry her but after marring her he realized she was the one he was looking for. If there was any other girl maybe couldn't be with him cause he was really introvert. He couldn't express his feelings properly but Rianta was different. He understood that he started to change because of her.
They headed to their room.
"I am going to shower ok? I am tired already and you seem like you aren't" He chuckled seeing his wife roaming around their hotel room.
"Ok" She answered.
"Rianta can you pass me my blue shirt that was on the bed. I forgot to take it with me" Kyungsoo said from the bathroom.
But there wasn't anyone to response to him.
"Rianta" He shouted again.
Kyungsoo came out after shouting her name countless time. But he saw there wasn't Rianta in their room.
"Where is she now?" He asked himself worriedly.
He had the towel wrapped around his waist. He took the shirt and left the room. She wasn't in the kitchen neither in the living room. He just realized she could in balcony. He headed there.
Rianta was standing there facing the beach in front of their hotel. The crazy wind making her hair messy. But she was so into that scene that she didn't realize Kyungsoo was just behind her.
"Here you are." Kyungsoo's deep voice made her turn her head. She started laughing looking at him.
"What's wrong?" He asked confused.
"You wore your shirt wrong." She stopped laughing and came near him.
He looked down at him and realized that yes he did it wrong in hurry. But the thing was his heart beating stopped when her hand pulled him near her by his collar.
"Let me fix it." She didn't look at his face. She unbuttoned his shirt and did it in the right way. When she was done she gave him a smile.
"Well your hair..." He paused. He actually didn't know what to say at this type of situation.
"Hmm?" She looked at him innocently.
"Do you want to go to the beach?" He avoided the eye contact and asked.
She smiled and nodded. He hold her hand and intertwined their fingers. He felt she was always the one he was waiting for. Before she came he never thought he could love someone.
They went to the beach. There weren't so many people cause the sun was about to take the last breath for that day. Just when Rianta felt a pair of arms wrapping her in protective way.
"Should we go inside? This is getting chilly." He asked in a whisper. A whisper was enough for her to hear him cause they were so close to each other.
And none needed to hear him except her.
Rianta's hand hold his hands and she closed her eyes inhaling the fresh air.
They remained there for a while cause even though they were trembling in cold but they didn't want to release each other's warm. So they stayed like that for god knows how long.
The fresh air was whispering in Rianta's ear that she was lucky that her husband loves her.
The cold water that touching their foots was telling Kyungsoo that he should protect her by any cost. Cause she was precious and he didn't want to lose her ever.
The honeymoon tied them so tightly that they forgot how would they gonna live after coming back to Korea. How would they spend their times in work without seeing each other's.
Rianta was feeling Kyungsoo's every words true while leaving China that he told her that she would never gonna miss their house while they were enjoying their honeymoon.
Now they had started their live as before. But something has changed. Now whenever Kyungsoo was in meeting a phone call would always distract him. But the caller's voice would always bring a smile on his face.
Now whenever Rianta's having her exams someone was there to help her. Even though he wasn't a good help but he would always cheer her up.
Maybe marriage life is beautiful. At least they found love in it.
