This was an anxiety attack.
"Sh-shoot! What should I d-do?" James cried.
"C-call..A-an..." she sobbed, hiding her face in the couch, gasping for air.
"A-ambulance! Right!" his hands were clammy and shaking. His whole body was shaking, in fact.
He dialed 911, trying so hard not to cry as he hugged Jaiden tightly.
"Hello, 911, what's your emergency?" the operator said calmly.
"M-m-my girlfri-friend..I-is having an an--" he choked on his own words.
"An anxiety a-attack. G-get here..Quick!" he nearly screamed.
"J-jaiden..Pl-please be okay..I love you..S-so much." James said as he held on to her, comforting her as best as he could.
Jaiden was sobbing, and James didn't know what to do. He helped her as much as he could, and shortly, the ambulance arrived.
"B-bye. I'm so sorry." James cried, letting go of Jaiden's hand.
She didn't reply.
What a bad start.
