You heard a common voice.
You slowly open your eyes and see a girl with magenta hair
It is Mutsuki. One of Fubuki and Yuudachi's friends
Mutsuki: Y/N, get up.
You slowly get up
Me: why? What's wrong?
Mutsuki: don't you remember? We have a class to attend to
Me: C-Class?! For real?!
Mutsuki: why? Is there something wrong with that
You go back to your bed and hide your face to one of the pillows
Me: i hate going to school. Whatever you are saying, it must be school classes that i must go to every week days
Mutsuki sighed
Mutsuki: i didn't know that you're lazy too
Me: huh? No, I'm just bored
Mutsuki giggles.
You stood up and go to the bathroom to brush your teeth
Mutsuki: you need to go to miss Nachi's class.

You wear the Uniform sent to you by the Admiral.
A white and black long sleeved polo and pants. has 3 purple stripes in the shoulder and in the sides of the pants.
There's also a golden rose emblem in your right arm
Me: heh, this is what i call a Uniform!
And i guess this golden rose is a symbol of the ship girls.
You then go out of your room and heads to the Naval District's Academy, where they teach ship girls about tactics, weapons, enemy information and much more
The Naval Base is where the Admirals and other ships are stayed. They are the one who thinks and warns about enemy movements
At the back of the base, is another island. It is called the Naval District. It is full of warehouses and buildings to provide for the Bases' resources such as metal, fuel and bauxite
This is where also the Docks and Workshop is placed.
You go in to the academy and search for Mutsuki and the girls
Then, you saw the trio in one of the rooms. There's a teacher in front. She has brown hair, just like what Mutsuki said
You knock to the door, and the teacher opened it
She let you go in and stopped you at front to tell them your name
Me: uh... I am Y/N L/N. A Modern Ship
Yuudachi: um... What's your class?
Me: class?
Ms. Nachi: its the name of what type you really are. Mostly in here are destroyers.
Yesterday, you showed us your Long white guns that emits purple light when powered
Even you only have 3, they are long and causes shockwaves and a large and powerful attack
So, i guess you're a Heavy Cruiser class.

Ms. Nachi: well, please have a seat
You nodded and walk to the nearest blank seat right next to Fubuki
Ms. Nachi starts the class. The topic is about our guns.
You brought a blank notebook. You write everything she says

Me: those weapons really aren't made for testing. More like, made for destroying large scale bases
My 2 particle beams may destroy a large city. In exchange for it's destructive power, it haves long reloading time and may limitedly fire it
Ms. Nachi: limited?
Me: yes.
Those weapons require energy. So i can only fire it 4 times or so.
And to get enough energy, i must stay directly in the sunlight
Fubuki: stay... In the sunlight?
Shimakaze: like a solar panel?
Me: correct.
My body absorbs the energy from the sun.
Ms. Nachi: so you can absorb and recharge yourself as long as the sun is in the sky?
Me: well yes.
But, i must stand still to recharge myself. I can still gather energy from sunlight even tho I'm moving but only a few
And also, when my cannons are also in the range of sunlight, its recharge speed increases
My cannons has a standard reload time of 8 minutes. But when I'm fighting at day, it becomes 3 minutes up to 5 minutes
Yuudachi: so, what happens if you fight in the night? Poi?
Me: hmm... Then my reload time goes back to its standard time.
Oh and also, my third cannon fires drones in the sky. Like a plane
But these drones consumes more energy at night, so they need to go back to me every 5 minutes of flight
Yuudachi: but in day?
Me: they can last for about hours because they are being hit by the sunlight
They can also go inside of a storm or a bad weather. But i must expect that they will also go back to me after 5 minutes or less
Ms. Nachi: hmm. Modernized Ships are tough indeed.
Me: i only have 9 weapons. 2 particle cannons, 1 Drone Cannon and 6 anti air guns in the side
I don't have any weapons that can fire many times for few minutes, not like Battleships or Destroyers. And doesn't have any torpedoes or depth charges
Or should i say, all of the ship girls
Their firing speed and accuracy, really are better than what i have
But, i know that i can help them in much harder missions
Ms. Nachi: yes yes. I'm sure that the Admiral will often use you in missions.
So, get ready as soon as possible
Me: yes mam!
[Few more hours later... Naval District Cafeteria...]
You ordered a plate of curry with rice
Fubuki, Yuudachi and Mutsuki goes with you in the cafeteria
Fubuki: so what do you plan to do now? Y/N?
Me: i don't know. I'm waiting for the Admiral to call me tho
Yuudachi: is there something you want to discuss to the Admiral? Poi poi?
Me: nope, nothing so important. Just a lil chat
Mutsuki: how? I mean, the Admiral is always busy
Me: well i can go to his office anytime without needing any permission or pass.
Suddenly
Kongou: wait! You can go to the Admiral's office anytime?!

Someone's calling you from the speakers
"Calling Y/N L/N, the Modern Heavy Cruiser. Please go to the Naval Base immediately."
You then look at Fubuki and the girls
Me: well, that's my cue. Gotta go
You stand up

Me: no

You are at the Admiral's Room.
Nagato is at the Admiral's side
There's also a short brown haired girl wearing the same uniform as Nagato
And a Girl with glasses doing paperwork at the left side, Ooyodo
Admiral: i called you here because we've spotted 2 Enemy Abyssal Fleets
Me: so that means we have 12 enemies
Nagato handed you the papers. You then Read it
Me: "8 Destroyers, 2 carriers and battleships has been spotted roaming the seas in the Far Southwestern Area. There are small islands scattered at this area. Use them as Cover to decrease damage casualties"
Nagato: there are 2 abyssal fleets right? So, each have 4 destroyers, a carrier and battleship.
Admiral: this mission, once you successfully completed it by wiping out an Entire Fleet by yourself and by not letting the members of your fleet being hit, then, i shall reward you of a new part that enhances your durability
Me: AAAALRIGHTYYY!!!

Admiral: correct. You will become the Flagship while Nagato will assign the rest

Yes it is true that I'm the fastest, and surprisingly, I'm also a Heavy Cruiser which is made to be heavy but a bit slower than a normal cruiser because of its huge armaments but enhanced motor, engine and power supply.... Me: actually, i do... But we don't have any carriers in my Fleet so its a bit useless
I'm planning to use Aircrafts to keep them busy while I'm reloading my cannons from a very far distance. That way, i can ensure that my fellow ships is safe
Mutsu: its good. But why need other carriers if you have the ability to make aircraft yourself?
Me: first of all, they are drones. And drones doesn't fly too high above the ground or sea.
They have limited armor and energy used fuel, but they are fast and quick. Also able to fire tracker bullets and particle bullets, but they don't have any bombs or torpedoes to deal much damage
Nagato: hmm... How many minutes do you require to make and release 6 aviation drones?
Me: about 2-3 minutes. And with the maximum of 100 feet above the water
Mutsu: their guns may easily hit it.
Me: don't worry about having a dogfight. These drones are made to eliminate hostile air forces.
Nagato: well then. Head to the Deployment area. The girls are waiting. Good luck
You saluted and quickly ran to the deployment area
