- Suri

I stood in front of the full length mirror in my bathroom, apprising my self and making sure I looked just right. Down the hall I could hear the sound of the shower running. I wasn't sure how this was going to work. Well the date part, I mean.. I was sort of nervous for this. I confess, this will be my first date ever.

However, I wouldn't really believe it's nerves but some part of me was making me feel that way. I'd probably make a fool of myself. Or perhaps it was just Gregory's handsomeness making me feel like jello inside. He was down the hall, in my bathroom mostly likely, naked.

Just the thought of him, undressed and taking a shower in my house. Oh my! I shook my head.

What's wrong with me. I've never felt this way.

I don't know what it is about Gregory but there is something about him I'm beginning to adore and crave. And I don't want to lose these feelings. I needed him the way I need air to breath. He is the first person I ever got to experience a date with. The way we laugh and collide so smoothly, it has made me feel alive.

I froze when I heard the bathroom door shut and movement in the hallway. I guess he was done. I took a deep breath, glancing at myself in the mirror one last time. I nodded to myself and left. I peaked to see if Greg was in the hall but there wasn't any sign of him. I ran my fingers through my dress, calming myself. I've been alone with him before, I can handle this.

I walked to the edge of the stairs. Down at the bottom, stood Gregory waiting so handsomely.

I couldn't help but smile. For some reason, what came to my mind was the movie titanic.

Jack waiting at the bottom of the steps for Rose and Rose slowly walking down the stairs with a huge smiled plastered on her face. That's what it looked like right.

I smiled when Greg turned around. Just like in the movie. My heart began to swim in sea of endless emotions for this boy. Greg reached for my hand and placed a kiss on it. "My lady . . ." he grinned.

I giggled as our arms linked automatically. Then suddenly my stomach began to burn as a delicious scent filled my nose. What an earth did Gregory cook. My mouth was watering in temptation. I had to try some.

"I always saw that in movies." Greg told me, breaking my mental thinking.

"What?" I looked up at him and he wore that dazzling smile.

"You know . . . waiting at the bottom of the stairs . . . Kiss on the hand." He chuckled.

"Oh," I laughed as well. It's funny how I was just sort thinking the same thing. "I found it attractive." I said in a seductive voice. I felt him tighten his hold next to me.

He licked his lips, glancing at me with whole new expression. I quietly laughed. I knew what I was doing to him.

Greg kindly pulled the chair out for me and then sat next to me. "How does it smell?"

"I can hardly resist. What did you cook?"

"A passed on recipe from my grandfather. I haven't cooked it in years."

"And you cooked it for me?" I said surprised. I touched his hand and reached over to lift the lid.

Steam rose along with the delicious spice Greg made. He smiled as I took my first bite. The moment I tasted it, I was in a blissful place with myself. This was amazing just how the flavors blended and offered such a spicy after taste of joy. It had my mind spinning in satisfaction. I had to have more.

I defiantly need this recipe.

"Greg honestly, this is the best thing I've ate in a very long time. It so . . . Mmm." I moaned in delight because of this delicious meal.

He laughed, digging into his own plate. "I'm glad you like it."

After I ate my seconds and thirds, we helped our selves to the chocolate cake I picked out. A good meal like this dissevered a slice of chocolate cake. My stomach had enough room for it.

"You sure can eat."

"What can I say, I love food." I smiled when he leaned in to kiss me. His lips inches from me and his beautiful eyes locked on mine. "Gregory . . " I breathed

Before I could say anything his lips were on mine, pressing gently until I felt his tongue slipped into my mouth. It was like magic when our tongues met, dancing with passion. I placed my hand on the table until I realized I had pressed it into my piece of cake. I giggled and decided to put my hand in his face. Greg chuckled and suddenly pulled away from the kiss. I instantly got up when I saw the revenge in his eyes and the grin playing on his lips.

"Well aren't you the cutest girl." He swept his fingers over his piece of cake. And began to stock towards me.

"I don't get mercy . . . Greg." I begged as I walked backwards.

"Nope!" He laughed when I turned to make a run for it. But Greg caught me by the waist. "Not so fast honey."

I grabbed his hand before he could slobber the chocolate frosting over my face. He let go of my waist and started to tickle my side and we fell forward. I tried to escape but he pinned himself on top of me.

"Greggggg . . . " I wined in a laughing voice.

"No where to go," he leaned forward with one arm pinned beside my face. I was seconds from being chocolate slobbered.

"Wait!" I pleaded .He raised an eyebrow, with a smile and waited for my plea. But instead I licked the chocolate frosting off his fingers.

His eyes widen as I licked the frosting away, never taking my eyes off his. Suddenly I felt the rise in his pants and I squirmed just a bit then I froze when he leaned forward. His nose was to mine.

"It's not fair if you tease me that way love." He brought his head to the drape of my neck, planting soft kisses that left burning trails on my neck.

"Well we are even." I said a little breathless.

"Oh yeah, how?" He breathed into my neck and started to kiss the other side.

"I can feel your friend."

Gregory laughed looking into my eyes. "I'm sure your enjoying this as much as I enjoyed you licking that frosting off my fingers." I just giggled when he said that. "Exactly . . you minx."

"Mmm . . ." I trailed off, pulling his face to mine. With out question, he passionately kissed me and lifted me into his arms. "Where are we going."

"Upstairs."

I through my head back in laughter. "But the table, Greg. Let's at least clean it."

He stopped and looked back at the table. "Alright." He agreed placing me on feet.

"I'll clean up and you get the dish washer going."

Greg smiled, kissing me quick. "Sounds like a plan."

A few minutes later I sat on the stairs watching Gregory work. They way he worked was turning every cell of my body on. I began to think of us ten minutes ago, the way his aroused self felt against my body. It felt so good, so right and so many thoughts I never thought before ran through my mind. I wanted to feel him like that against me again.

“Hey beautiful.”

“Mr. handsome . . .” I smiled, I pulled him between my legs and he naturally wrapped his arms around me.

“What do you say we go upstairs and watch a movie.” Greg suggested but I had others things in mind.

“Only if we get to be eighty percent naked.” I pouted my lips seductively and he just shook his head.

“You’re a little naughty tonight.”

I grinned, shrugging my shoulders. Greg picked me up and started up the stairs.

“Maybe it was the lovely food you cooked for me.”

He laughed, holding me tighter to his chest. It was tight enough for me to feel his hard chest. I want his shirt off, like now.

“Perhaps because baby you are so damn spicy.”

“Not as tasty as you are . . . Honey.” I trailed off as I kissed his neck. I heard a soft moan escape his lips and I smiled. “You should cook your little recipe for me more often.”

He chuckled softly opening the door of my room. He gently placed me on the bed. “Anything for you.”

I beam satisfied and sneaked my hands under his shirt. I stood up and began to pull his shirt off. Then I slid my hands down, smoothly unbuttoning his pants, leaving him in his boxers. I planted a kiss on his muscular chest.

I couldn’t help grinning to the largeness in his boxers. “Looks like your trooper is quite happy.” I teased.

He smirked down at me, jerking me close to his body making sure I felt it. In a unhurriedly moment, Greg traced the back of my zipper of my dress. Then he unzipped it, letting it fall to the floor. I noticed the gratified look he gave my breast, licking his lips.

“If your looking so will I . . .” I pulled his boxers just enough fo rme to get a glimpse before he pulled my hand away.

“That’s not a good idea Suri.” He said and removing my hand.

“Oh . . . Why not?” I said circling around him, passing my fingers gently across his back.

Greg wrapped me into a hug bringing his lips to my ear. “Well because he doesn’t like to be teased, baby and if I let you see, I might have to unleash him.”

“Mmm . . .” I quickly turned around and pulled us back causing him to fall on top of me. “So unleash him. I’d like to know the other side of Gregory Martin.” I said fiercely.

His eyes were wide with temptation. He took a deep breath and leaned down to kiss my chest, feeling the size of my breast. “Not yet love.” but continued to kiss.

“Fine, but if your hands are going to roam, so are mine.” I told him as he softly began to mark my left breast. I moaned in pleasure. I was enjoying the sexy side of Gregory and I never wanted it to end. Just the feeling of him, the greatness of body, the taste of his lips and the feel of his manhood pressed against me. I couldn’t ask for anything better.

I shamelessly slipped my fingers into his boxers and let my hands move on their own accord. I heard Gregory groan to the feel of my hands stroking his cock so gently, taking it with such care. I was proud to say . . . Damn this boy had fat big one. I continued to stroke it lightly as Gregory’s mouth sucked on my breast. Then suddenly he pulled my hands away.

“Suri,” he breathed in a deep voice.

“We’ve been having fun for the past hour. Don’t spoil it.” I frowned.

“I’m not. It’s just, I don’t think we are ready for that type of pleasure hun.” He shook his head. “I feel like we are rushing into this.”

“Hm,” I said a little disappointed but he did have a point. He wasn’t officially my boyfriend and we were already going to have sex. “Okay, your right. But we’re even.” I said as he rolled next to me. He tangled his legs with mine so I could still feel how aroused he was.

I smiled, pressing my body close to him and wrapping one of my arms around his chest. It didn’t mean us being this close. It made me sort feel connected to him .

“Yes we are even.” He kissed the mark on my chest and leaned back against the pillows. I glanced down at what he did. It was red and swollen, almost like a bruise. I ran my finger over it. Greg reach to give my boob a squeeze and I give him a pout face.

“Hey,” I said. Then I quickly give his friend a stroke. Greg couldn’t help but chuckle sizing my hands.

“Okay, okay . . . I’ll behave.”

“You better or ill just have to be that naughty girl your trying to tame.”

“Ha-ha, instead of a movie let’s just go to sleep.” Greg said. I pouted but instantly felt tired. “If I stay awake any longer I might change my mind.” Greg added running his fingers through my hair.

“I don’t mind staying awake.” I said, turning kiss his cheek quick.

He kissed my forehead in return. “Sleep now.” He ordered.

I chuckled and started to snuggle next him. “Fine.”

Greg wrapped his arms around me and pulled my body closer to him. “Night Suri.”

“Night Greg.” I murmured, closing my eyes. The exhausting that was coming over me this very second wasn’t allowing me to even attempt anything. I smiled when he place one more kiss on my lips and we both began to drift to sleep.

* * * * *

I wasn’t sure what time it was when I heard a telephone waking me from my sleep. I thought maybe if I ignored it, it would stop ringing and the person who was calling would get the memo. Whoever was calling could wait till the morning.

I felt Greg’s body next to me and his soft breathing. My handsome man.

Just as my sleep was going to catch me again the phone began to ring annoyingly once more. I groaned pulling away from Gregory’s hold. His eye opened and narrowed into my direction.

“I was just going to tell you to answer it.”

I chuckled and picked up the phone on the next ring. “Hello,” I murmured into the receiver

“Suri,” my eyes immediately widen with surprise. This voice . . . I recognized it. It couldn’t be.

“David, is this you?”

“Yes, I’m here would mind opening the door. It’s . . .uh, it’s cold.” He half chuckled.

“Of course, I’m be down in a second.” I was awake and suddenly excited. I ran to my closet throwing a night gown over and robe. I washed my face and brushed my teeth as quickly as I can.

“Who’s there.”

“My sister’s . . . uh well her boyfriend if that makes sense.”

“I’m going down stairs with you.” Greg said.

“Okay, just throw some clothes on and I’ll meet you down stairs.” I told him, giving him a kiss on the cheek before I left.

“Alright.” he smiled.

I nodded and ran away. I practically flew down stairs. I couldn’t believe David was here after so long. The last time I spoke or even heard of him was nearly a year ago. Now he was here. Behind this door. I unlocked the doors with shaky fingers.

“David . . .” I said nearly knocking him down. He laughed a laugh I missed for years. I closed the door not minding the cold hitting me.

“My, how you have grown.” David said with his hands on his hips.

I arched an eyebrow with a smile. I can say the same, you look like a cave man.” I joked. I had to agree with myself. David looked very different. His facial hair made him look European. His skin seemed dark like he has been in the sun for too long. His hair looked a dark blonde and he looked overworked and tired. Not the David I remember.

“Do I now,” David grinned, touching the hairs on his face.

“Yup,” and we both laughed.

“So how have you been? How’s school and everyone?”

“It’s good. I’m into piano now and schools, well school nothing new.” I purged my lips, shrugging my shoulders.

“Hmm, I see and what--” David paused, which grabbed my attention due to his hard fearful expression.

“David what wrong?” I asked.

“Who is he?” David questioned in a stern voice that sent chills down my spine.

I glanced over to where David pointed and found Greg setting on the stairs minding his own business. I rolled my eyes and looked back at David. “Uh Dave, that’s my . . . My boyfriend Gregory.”

“Boyfriend . . .” he said like protective older brother would do. I watched him eye Greg for a second.

“Yes, my boyfriend.” I smiled as Gregory came to my side. He wasn’t at all shocked to my response. “David this is Gregory, Greg this is my sister’s boyfriend, David..”

David continued to eye Gregory as he held out his hand to him. After a few long seconds of consideration, David shook it. David then looked at me with a questioning expression.

“Where’s Liz?” David asked.

“She’s not here. She’s out of state. Family emergency.” I explained

“You’re alone, they dared to leave you alone.” David growled.

“Yeah.”

“How could they. They know it’s not safe.” David fumed.

“That’s why I am here.” Gregory spoke.

“And what exactly are you here for?” David snarled at him. I frowned.

“What do you think I am here for? To take advantage of her. I’m here to keep her safe. I didn’t think it was right that she was staying alone either.” Gregory argued.

David glared at him from head to toe. Just by the way he was looking at him. I knew he didn’t believe anything. He then looked at me.

I sighed. “He knows,” I mumbled.

“Ah, I see.” He glanced back at Gregory. “Didn’t mean to come down hard on you. Suri is my little sister and what’ve been through.” David shook his head. “My apology.” David said holding out his hand out to him.

“Perfectly understandable.” Greg told him as he shook his hand.

“Suri is old enough to make her own decisions when it comes to a boyfriend.” David assured him. “However, if you hurt her, I’m coming after you. So run like you have four legs.” David threaten in a soft but deadly voice.

“I understand David.” Gregory nodded. “Just to let you know, I wouldn’t even put thought into hurting her. Not ever.”

“Good.” David said.

I sighed again. “Uh, let’s sit down.” I said trying to ease the tension between these two.

David smiled because he knew me to well. They both followed me. Gregory sat next to me on the love seat while David sat across from us.

“So how have you been.” I asked turning the attention to David.

“Stressed.” He answered letting out a dragged breath.

“Why?” I wondered.

“Well a lot of things and finding May.”

My heart tightened to mention of her name. “Have you gotten anything?” I asked, hoping he did.

“Actually, I do have a lead. I’ve been in Rio for a few months.”

I nodded to myself. “That explains your tan.” I teased.

“Ha-ha. I see you still haven’t lost your sense of humor.” David just shook his head smiling.

“Never.” I just stuck his tongue out at him. =P “So what do you got?”

“Money trails.”

“Money trails, what do you mean by that?” I said.

“Someone recently withdrew money from the account May and I had shared. Suri a big chuck of that money is missing. I so happen to notice and then within an hour the trails vanished. I had enough time to track the source. It’s coming from a ware house in Brazil.”

“What are you serious.” I said in shock. “What are you going to do? Do you have a plan.”

“Yes I do. I have a team now.”

“You do?”

He nodded reaching for his bag. “That’s not all Suri. We’ve been monitoring this place from every angle and we came up with these photographs.” He pulled out a white envelope and handed it to me.

I glanced at David a little afraid but he nodded at me, encouraging me to look at what’s inside. I slowly pulled the photos and began to skim through them. Some were of people, men, the house David was speaking of until one picture caught my attention. I remained glued to that photograph. It was a bit blurry but it was clear enough for me examine it.

There was a girl. Her hair was dark and long. I couldn’t her face since she was looking in a different direction. She held a child that had a mane of blonde hair that hung long. However that’s not what caught my attention. It was a bracelet that was shining brightly with the sun. I closed my eyes as memory came to me.

* * *

It was a sunny day. Maleen and I were sitting in Blare Hill. The wind was blowing lightly as a warm breeze pasted us. I watched as May opened a small trunk. I begged her the whole way over to Blare Hill to tell me why she was bringing her favorite trunk with her.

“May won’t you tell what’s inside there.” I implored impatiently.

“Wait,” she whispered, staring out into the sunset.

I looked with her as well. The sun was setting in the west so gracefully. The heat was sending rays of sunshine our way. It was if the sun did not want to set. I gazed over at May who was smiling. I smiled with her. She reached for her trunk and pulled out to boxes and handed one to me.

“Open it.”

I did as she said, rising the led of the box. In the box laid a silver bracelet with a single heart charm that hung from it. In the heart charm was saying. ‘In every sunrise to sunsets our hearts shall shine as bright as the sun’

I wiped the tears that rolled down my face. “Thank you May,” I cried throwing my arms around her.

“You’re welcome, Suri.”

“We are one, remember that dear little sister of mine. Never take it off, promise.” May said holding up her hand.

“I promise.” I matched her hand with my and we squeezed it tightly, sealing our promise.

We helped each other put our bracelets on and held them up to the sun before it vanished behind the horizon. I felt the warmth of our sister friendship shining brightly with the sunsets. This is what it meant to be sister. Staying true to each other. No matter what.

* * *

I blinked back tears, gazing at my bracelet I had around my wrist and the one around this mysterious girl in the picture. If I recall my bracelet does the same thing. This has to be my sister.

“David that bracelet.”

“Exactly, I knew you’d notice it.”

“So she’s alive.” I whispered as a lump formed in my throat. My sister was alive.

“Yes, she is.”

“Have you gone to this place.”

“Look at the next few pictures.” He ordered.

I flipped threw pictures and noticed what he meant. This place was surrounded by armed men. He could get killed along with his team. I frowned.

“You can’t go near that place, David.”

“Not yet but I will and so will my team.”

“David that is dangerous, you can’t--”

“Relax Suri,” David said with his hands up.

“Dave you can get killed. I wont lose you too.”

“Suri calm down. You’re not going to lose me. I am pretty good at what I do now and I don’t role empty handed either.” he stood up and pulled out a gun.

“Oh my god . . . David.” I half screamed ready to faint. I felt Gregory tense beside me.

“Relax guys,” David assured us, placing the gun on the coffee table.

“How do you want us relax. You pulled out a freaking gun.”

He rolled his eyes with a smirk on his face, waving it off. “Relax . . .”

“Right, right.” I hissed, glaring at him.

“I brought it from you.” He said with that stupid smirk on his face.

“WHAT!” I shouted. David stared to laugh. “Why do I need a gun?”

“To protect yourself.”

“David please tell me your are not serious?” I said with my hands covering my face.

“Yes, yes I am.” he said, all the joking gone.

I yank my hands away from my face. “So you expect me to shoot someone?”

“Listen Suri, who every captured May, I think there aware I am on to them. And it’s not going to be easy and I am not going to be here to protect you like I want to. I need you to be alert and not afraid. So use that gun.”

“Where is your team?”

“Outside.”

“In the cold. Why didn’t you invite them in, there is like a million bedrooms in this forsaken house of mine. They can sleep there. Wait you are staying, right?”

“I am.”

“Invite them in, Gregory cooked this amazing meal for me. There is still a lot left over.” I told him.

David glance at Greg who sat next to me quietly. “You cooked for her?”

“Yes I did.”

“Hmm, I give you some points.”

“Ha, thanks.” Greg nodded putting his arm around me.

“Are you sure you don’t mind?” David asked me.

“Absolutely not.” I assured David.

“Okay.” He pulled out his cell phone and murmured something in a different language and walked away.

I stood and walked around the loveseat. Gregory followed me as I started to walk towards the huge living room window. I looked out into the distance. The sunrise was forming and I felt this warmth come over me. Since the day she left I believed she was alive. Just seeing that bracelet shine through that picture; it was as if she was calling me with a hope that was gleaming miles away. I wouldn’t give up until she is home.

The sun began to peak over the horizon and I felt the rays of the sun instantly hit my bracelet, reflecting so brightly. I could cry right this very moment. I knew it was sister. Her heart was calling. Gregory wrapped his arms around me, assuring me that he was there. I rest my head on his shoulder as the happiness in my soul began spread.

Maleen was alive.
