Demi's POV
I was in Scotland for a while just to relax and get away from work for a while. I had been messaging my old friend Hunter and he said that he had 2 special girls he wanted me to meet and record a song with the one called Hayley. He told me about everything, how they all met when he .. Interrupted them in the hallway, what had happened to Luce and Hayley plus how talented they both were and why they were going to America. I feel really connected with the Lucy girl already because I know what it's like to feel like that and how numb you can get when your really upset. I have said that I'll visit her in rehab and I'll do a song with Hayley and help her find her feet in the music industry. I honestly can't wait to meet them both but I'm more buzzed to see Hunter again I've missed him so much.
Today I was flying back to America but I still have another 7 months off the job so I guess I'll hang with Hayley, Hunter and Luce. I boarded the plane and sat at the back. Some people were starting to notice me so I put on my red beanie and closed my eyes to sleep.
After 2 hours I woke up and began shuffling through the music in my phone. I put in my earphones and settled for some ACDC. I was lying back listening to my music when we hit some pretty bad turbulence causing someone to fall onto my lap.
He began apologising but I instantly cut him off when I noticed it was Hunter. I was so happy and we began talking about why we were here. The minute he mentioned that Lucy and Hayley were here I started bouncing about in my seat like a 5 year old. Someone called his name and he instantly told me it was Hayley. He stood up and directed her over to me.
"Oh my Demetria" she said obviously in shock.
I laughed and she started blushing like crazy
"Sorry .. I-I uh it's just. I need to get Luce" she said standing back up
"No no no no" Hunter said standing up "I'll get her you stay here with Demi..start talking so you are more comparable when it comes to recording a song" he winked at Hayley and she had a look of complete shock and disbelief in her face.
When she sat back down she turned to look at me
"Hi umm sorry it's just I'm a huge fan but no where near as big as Luce so I'm gonna warn you that she might pass out" she said laughing "I'm Hayley Brooks" she said standing her hand for me to shake but I refused and pulled her I to a hug instead. I'm a hugger
We spend the next 10 minutes getting to know each other. Everything she said looped back to Lucy somehow. I can tell she really loves her and that's from just spending ten minutes alone with her. We were I interrupted by Hunter
"Hey Luce is on her way but I want you to pretend your sleeping and look out the window so she doesn't know it's you" he said to me
I gave him a confused look and he continued
"Just do it and when you hear the words 'really don't care' I want you to burst out singing. It's her favourite song"
I said okay and turned around pretending to be asleep but listening really carefully. I could hear footsteps approaching.....
Lucy's POV
I was woke up by Hunter telling me that Hayley was stuck in the toilet and that she needed me to help her
"Why can't you help her?" I moaned still half asleep
"C'mon she needs you" he said and walked away
After five minutes I got up and followed the way he went but noticed he wasn't outside the toilet cubical and it was open. I could see Hayley's blue hair from beneath the seats and walked towards it.
"What the hell? Why did you make come over here?" I whined as I sat next to Hayley
She instantly wrapped me in her arms and I relaxed in to her letting out a sigh
"We just wanted you over here" Hunter smirked
"Why?" I asked
"Babe, what's your favourite song again?" Hayley asked me
I sat up and turned to her with my mouth wide open
"How the hell don't you know my favourite song Hayley !" I whisper yelled but laughed so she knew I was joking
She smiled sheepishly and kissed my nose
"Just say it cutie" she said causing me to blush
"Ugh fiiiine" I said like a kid "really do-" but before I could finish I was interrupted
"Oh oh oh I really don't care" the person next to Hunter sang
"Oh my Demetria!" I yelled causing people to turn and look at the four of us
Hunter and Demi were laughing their asses of whilst
Hayley was blushing and I was fangirling to a superior level
"What are you guys laughing at?" I asked suddenly getting kinda self conscious
"It's just....Hayles sa-said the exact same .. thing " Hunter said between laughs
"Wow Hunter.. These guys are more perfect for each other than you said" Demi said fixing herself and sitting upright again
"Oh my god ... Like what's happening here?" I asked and Hayley grabbed me pulling me Into her. I lay my head on her shoulder and listened to demi explain everything.
-----10 mins later-----
"...And that's that" Demi said taking a deep breath
"Wow" I said and looked at Hayley "your going for this Hayles I know that the minute you release this single, people will fall in love with your voice"
"Aww thanks princess" she said causing me to blush uncontrollably
"Awww" Demi and Hunter cooed
I hid my face in Hayley's neck and stayed there until I had felt all the heat leave my cheeks
"Y'all are too cute together" Demi said laughing "alright, when we land you guys are gonna call me and then we will meet up before Luce leaves okay?" She said handing Hayley a piece of paper with her number on it.
"I'm sorry but... Is this real? Are you actually here?" I said staring at Demi
"Hell yeah" she smiled, causing me and Hayley to smile back whilst Hunter sat there being all smug about what he's done. It's great seeing him this proud and happy.
"Please fasten your seatbelt so and return to your seats" the pilot spoke.
"Aw man!" Hunter and Demi moaned at the same time
We all burst out laughing and said goodbye to Demi. As I was hugging demi goodbye she whispered in my ear
"Stay Strong Luce"
And released me with a wide but sympathetic smile
"I will" I replied with a similar smile
We made our way back to our seats and Hunter turned to me and Luce whilst buckling his seatbelt
" so....what'd ya think?" Hunter smirked
"Is this real Hunter? Am I actually gonna record a song with Demi and release it?" Hayley said, fangirling from the word 'Demi'
"Yeah, and she forgot to mention that when Luce gets out from rehab she wants you two to record 'in case' together ... Without her" he said smiling
"Really?! Don't fuck with me dude" I squeezed causing some people to stare at me
"Yeah she said the chemistry between you two is so strong you can almost see it and that she wants you to record that song and she's putting it on her website AND youtube" she smiled excitedly
"Omg!" Me and Hayley said hugging each other.
When we pulled back Hayley kissed me
"I love you Luce" she mumbled against my lips
"I love you to Hayles" i replied kissing her nose and turning to Hunter
"Thank you...so much Hunter. I swear to god I can't even explain how thankful I am towards you and I don't know what I would do without you" I smile. He returned the smile with a 'no problem Luce' and I turned to Hayley "Hayley.... I honestly can't describe how much I'm gonna miss you and I know I'm gonna be lonely but the thought of coming back to you will keep me going...no doubt about it. I love you and I can't wait to get out so I can hear your new single with Demi and I also can't wait to personally record 'in case' with you" I said.
Hayley was tearing up slightly. I wiped her tear and kissed her lightly then pulled back and continued
"When you get big from all this and you start touring and stuff you better take me to Mexico so I can see Chichen Itza" I smiled at her
"I'll do one better....we'll be going to Chernobyl" she said smiling at me
We both laughed and Hunter just sighed heavily ensuring the we heard
"Nerds" he laughed
"And proud bitch" Hayley replied.
The plane landed and bounced a bit shaking the cabin. As it came to a halt the flight attendants voice came over the speaker
"Welcome to America"
