We're here inside our classroom waiting for our other classmates. Yoshinori and Hiro have just arrived. When I asked them where they came from, Yoshinori just smiled at me again.
Anew, I remembered what happened yesterday. We saw lots of strange things. I asked him if those were true but he told me that we will learn about those later. We had different talks when someone in mid-30's came inside our room.
"Let's start our class," he said, not even looking at me.
Yumi suddenly raised her hand, "Ah! Sir, the others are not yet here."
"I know because we were informed that all of you will have your special class today," he said. He looked at Yoshinori and Hiro and added, "You are also included." Yoshinori smiled and Hiro sighed.
"First of all, I'll tell you what kind of place you have entered is," the atmosphere suddenly changed. "This school is not just an ordinary school. The students here have higher and different abilities than the earthlings (this is how they call people in the mortal world)," he looked at us and continued. "My ability is..." He went to each corner of the room and closed his eyes. I was shocked when Sir suddenly multiplied.
"Woah!" said Haru and Yoshinori.
"This is what you call Self-Spawn," Sir's clone said. "Self-Spawn means an ability to transform others into genetic exact replicates of oneself," the other one added. "It will last only for an hour and nothing less," after he said that, the three duplication of his body walked into the original one to go back to his original form.
"My name is Echiiro Tamura but you can call me Sir Eiichi," he introduced himself to us. Then I noticed that the replicates were gone.
Does it mean that all of the things we saw yesterday is true?
"Ah! Sir, do we also have abilities like that?" Yui asked and I noticed her trembling body.
"Ability, yes but not the same with mine. The strength and the way we call it is different but the use is just the same," he replied. "Let's start our training," Sir suddenly said.
"T... training?" I asked while stuttering.
"Yes, Ms. Yatsumi. We will start your training. See you at the activity center," he added. After this, he proceeded outside the room.
We can't do anything so we just went out as well. We followed Hiro and Yoshinori since they know the directions.
"Do you also have abilities like Sir Eiichi's?" Yumi suddenly asked.
"You'll see," Hiro replied shortly.
We have arrived at the activity center that Sir Eiichi told us to go and again, we saw his replications. He is arranging and keeping the things that we don't need. He looks so cool because it seems like he is also helping himself.
"Oh! Come here so that we can start immediately," he shouted at us. He also went back to his original form.
"Ah, Sir how can we know the abilities that we possess?" Haru asked. That's also the question I want to ask but Haru asked it before I do.
"Before you entered Hikari, the council already knew what abilities you have. We were also informed about your abilities but we cannot tell those to you. You must discover it yourselves. Your sensei's, including me, are here to help you," he added.
"Bro, let us talk after this," Haru seriously asked to his twin.
"Okay," Hiro replied shortly.
We changed into our P.E. uniforms inside a room so that we can move comfortably. To avoid irritations, I tied my hair. I really don't have knowledge about P.E. activities that's why I felt dull. We went back to Sir Eiichi to know what abilities we possess.
We were falling in line when I noticed something on Yumi. Her hair went up and down and since it wasn't tied up, it can be easily seen. She can't move.
"A-aaah!!" she shouted. She then ran towards me.
After that, someone poked me. I ran towards Yui and Yumi gave me a scary look.
Someone laughed out loud and I know whose voice is that. Yoshinori slowly appeared. When I saw him, I punched him.
"Ouch! W-wait! O-okay! So-sorry Aya! I didn't know that you can be scrared easily!" he apologized but I know that he still laughs at us.
"You didn't know, huh!" I just pulled his hair and punched him again. I almost died in shock!
"Oh! That's enough! You might get hurt if you continue that," Sir Eiichi said while stopping us. I let Yoshinori go and then I went back to our place while still looking at him. Yoshinori then made a peace sign to me.
"Invisibilty. That is Yoshinori's special ability," Sir Eiichi suddenly said. "It is an ability to make the molecules of their body transparent just by thinking about it but more often than not it is triggered by emotions such as fear or anger. Sometimes people with this ability can extend their power to objects touching them such as their clothes and if they concentrate very hard they can even extend it to other people or objects." He explained.
Yoshinori nodded to us, so we also replied with a nod. We turned our eyes to Hiro, and he sighed. It seems like he already know what we mean. Hiro went at the back of Sir Eiichi, and then we saw another replica of Sir Eiichi.
"Oh! Sir, did you do your Self-Spawn again?" Yamato asked.
"No," he replied.
"I'm Hiro," Sir Eiichi... Hiro said. Huh?
Hiro returned to his original form, but this time, he's turning into a ball, a sword, and many more things. He even turned into a cat.
"My ability is Shapeshifting, and Shapeshifter is what they call us," Hiro said. "A Shapeshifter is a person with the ability to change the shape and structure of their bodies into anything else they want. They can change themselves into another person, an animal, or even an inanimate object, though they can't stay in an inanimate form for very long. Some shapeshifters choose to only change themselves into one other being and perfect that change while others like to change into many different things. Some shapeshifters closely identify with a certain animal and will choose to only change into that animal," he added. "And now that you know what abilities they have, you can now believe that you also have your own," Sir Eiichi said to us.
Haru and Yamato made a high five, and I know that Haru knows that he and his twin are not different. He is also like Haru who possesses a special ability. "So Let's start with Yui," sir pointed at Yui.
"At me? immediately, sir?" Yui asked.
"Yes, because I know that you can just release it easily," sir replied. Yui cannot rant anymore, so she went to the center immediately.
"Watch us! Okay?" sir shouted at us. We nodded as a reply to him. Sir instructed Yui to get the katana that was placed at the top of the table. Then, Yui picked up the katana. The katana is just small, and I think that it can be handled so easily since when you look at it, it is not that heavy.
"Now, defend yourself on whatever attack I will throw to you. Do you understand?" Even though that was so straightaway, Yui just nodded her head. Maybe also because of shock nervousness. Sir ran towards Yui, and Yui just stepped back.
"Make sure to don't block your katana to my sword. Create a slope that allows the opponent's blade to slide along your sword while it's being directed away from your centre," Yui did what sir told him to. She slided her katana on Sir Eiichi's sword. She made a turn, and targeted the sword of Sir Eiichi. She kicked his feet to him but he managed to jump to avoid Yui's attacks. Since he focused on that attack of Yui, he has dropped his sword, then Yui stood up and point the sharp edge to Sir Eiichi's neck.
"Oh no! Sorry sir!" Yui suddenly realize on what he do so, immediately dropped her Katana and lent her hand to sir, helping him to stand up.
"No, you don't have to. To be honest, you did a very great job," sir said, praising Yui.
Yumi picked up her katana, and I noticed that she can't lift it up.
"W...why is it so heavy!" Yumi bragged. I went towards her to help her lift the katana. She's right. It is so heavy.
"What do you mean? Heavy? No, it's not!" Yui picked up the katana again, and then she strucked it in the air.
"Her ability is Super-Strength," sir suddenly said. We turned our eyes to him. "Super-Strength is an ability to be stronger than what is naturally possible. They can destruct things also, they can lift things heavy that's why, she can easily lift katana. Users of this ability, are glaringly, obviously and unnaturally stronger than their race because their capabilities are pushed beyond the natural level. It is making them immensely stronger than normal member of species can be achieved by any method of training." He explained.
Yumi screamed and gave Yui a hug. Yui then gave. her a smile. She did well. She is also so strong.
"Let's have a break first. Juts stay here. You are not allowed to go outside," Sir added.
We sat at the bench knowing that Yui is the first one to discover her ability while we are not yet discovering our own.
I wish my ability is cool and unique. Hmmmm... I'm so excited and can't wait anymore.
