Chapter 12-
I stood in the door way to my guest bed room. The only light that was coming from the dark room was an expensive looking alarm clock that had bright blue numbers stating it was 1.30 am. Yes you heard me I said guessed bed room! That's right everyone I didn't need to sleep in Jeremy's room the other night because THEY HAD SPARE ROOMS! I know stupid to think a place like this wouldn't but I was in a little bit of an emotional state then and well he bed was so dam comfortable! I mean this room was no wear as big as the other on Jeremy's, Cat's, Kirin's and Tess's level, but it was big compared to the bed I normally slept in, the bathroom was just a bit larger then a nice hotel rooms, yet it was a lot more expensive. It was the perfect guest room. Plus I just couldn't bring myself to get mad at Jeremy for the whole sleeping-in-his-bed thing because, to be honest, it was one of the best night sleeps of my life!
I turned to Mr. and Mrs. Everson as they said their final good nights "good night Maddy" Mrs. Everson said with a smile as Mr. Everson had an arm wrapped around her shoulder and hugged her to him softly. I smiled and held the overly short clothes I was to wear to bed to my chest, courtesy of Cat, hence the overly short length. "good night Mr. and Mrs. Everson, and thank you again, not only for letting my brother and sister stay here, but also for getting them into our school, I hope Cat doesn't mind to much having to show the twins around tomorrow, and also tomorrow, if you can, would you mind getting me the bill for the school and the rent I will have to pay? I mean I need to sort out my money, but I'm good for any price you set" I said with a confident smile. I was acting.
Acting that everything was perfect, something I had come to prefect over the years. I mean when you have to reassure people, police, and family and friends that your life is fine when your struggling to get a meal that week, that takes real skill. "Well you really need to get some sleep Maddy. You have school tomorrow, unlike us who get to sleep in all day tomorrow" Mrs. Everson said with a giggle. I smiled sheepishly and nodded "your right. Good night Mr. and Mrs. Everson" I said waving as they turned to walk down the hall. Mr. Everson held onto Mrs. Everson and planted a light kiss on her cheek and she giggled and blushed.
I shook my head in disbelief as I closed the door to my room and headed for the shower. The water was bliss on my overly tiered body. The twins had gone to bed, in separate room, on the same level as Cat and Jeremy. Little did the twins know that they would know own those rooms. See after we got home and I had sent the twins to bed along with Cat. Jeremy went off to get some sleep and Nick was out, I had sat down with Mr. and Mrs. Everson and talked about the twins. My place would be no where I would ever let my brother and sister live, the place was falling apart and no place for to kids like them to live and not to mention the location is more dangerous than any other place in town, of course I only told the Everson's that it was the lack of space that I needed other alternatives for the twins.
I had looked at many options and then Mr. and Mrs. Everson offered to give up three rooms for us, they said we would be a much welcomed addition to their family; I of course declined the third. The twins, they deserved the best of the best, I didn't need to be greed and spend extra money on myself when I needed to save so I could send Tess and Kirin to the middle year's section of my school. All my school coast for me was hard work, the beauty of a scholarship, but it was the best school in the country and Tess and Kirin both deserved to go there, I think I will be able to keep up with payments for them, and if it gets to much I can always drop out and work more, they deserved this more than me. I would hate to leave Jeremy and the boys though.
I finished washing my hair and was just soaking up the last minutes of the warm water on my body as I thought about what tomorrow. Thursday. Firstly I will have to inform the twins about what is happening....then get some clothes for me, from my apartment....school...Shaklee's photo shoot...homework and then.... OH SHOOT! I almost fell over as I remembered I had a date with Blaze that night. A smile spread across my face as I went to turn off the water. Blaze, he was kind, funny, one of the only rich guys I know that would take a date to McDonald's and shop at an outlet store, cheeky, funny, interesting, sexy, smart...sure he had nothing on Jeremy I mean Jeremy was-
I stopped mid thought, this time I didn't almost trip because of my train of thought, no I actually tripped and smacked into the glass door of the shower. It was just like a bad comedy movie. I stuck to the glass and slid down a little bit making a funny sound and dragging my face down slowly, "Owww" I said against the glass. The next thing I know the door can hold my small weight anymore and I falling on the floor. I feel like a drowning fish!
I quickly jump of the ground and hit my head on a counter near the shower, not only bumping the back of my head, but biting my tong in the process, "fiddle sticks" I say with a numb tong, so it come out more like "thiddle sizts" I sigh and pick the big white towel of the wall and wrap it around myself. I walk over to the sink and turn on the cold water. I make a cup out of my hands and us the cool tap water to sooth my sore tong. After a minute it was just the very light metallic taste of blood in my mouth. I got changed into my matching bra and underwear. W plain gray bra with a red bow in the middle, boy leg underwear with red spots all over rimmed with a thin red lace. I couldn't fit into Cats very small and tight PJ bottoms I mean I could have fit, but I mean nobody wants to wear something tight to bed, so I stayed in my underwear and just put on the three quarter gray shirt with the black sleeves and black 88 on the front. I left my hair out to dry.
I hung up the towel and rubbed the back of my head, god that hurt. I walked to my bed and just fell face first into the sheets. I sighed in bliss and quickly slid under the silk sheets, real silk if I'm not mistaken! Then i cuddled up to a pillow, I let out a bliss full sigh, the twins where close, so was my friends, everyone I cared about was close enough to protect now. I had a date tomorrow and...for once I felt as if my life was on the right track, but something was off something about tomorrow....but it was to late to think about it any longer as I was falling into a deep piece full sleep the first in a while and right then nothing else mattered but my bliss full slumber...I was just utterly happy.

I woke to the sound of my privet guest bed room door being swung open. Living in the part of the town I have for the last three years or so it was only a habit to jump out of bed and grab the first thing I saw that could be used as a weapon in self defense. It just so happened to be my alarm clock which told me that the time was 6.30 am. I through the alarm clock at the figure and it hit the person on top of their head. Yet it was a soon as the alarm clock was out of my hands that I registered who it was, "SORRY!" I yelled as soon as the alarm clock hit his head and I realized who it was. Tess was standing right behind him, well she was after seeing what just happened she was now rolling on the ground laughing. I jumped over my bed and ran to Kirin. I put a hand on either side of his head "are you ok? Oh gosh I could have given you a concussion, stay awake Kirin!" I started to work myself when Kirin just chuckled and knocked my hands away and absently rubbed his head. "good arm Sis" he said and I breathed out a sigh of relief.
I ran a hand throw my hair as Tess got off the floor with a smile "that has just made the last two day PERFECT!" she giggled and smiled wider. Kirin rolled his eyes but Tess continued " I mean first we get out of that god awful house, we get to come back on a JET then we get to meet so really nice people, where going to live with you and to top it off you hit Kirin in the head with an alarm clock!" I chuckled nervously. It took he smile off both of the twins faces "what's the matter Maddy" they said at the same time in a skeptical voice. I let out a deep breath "I know you guys where heaps excited to live with me, but my place is just to small for all of us" the sad looks plastered on their faces wanted to make me take back my words, but I continued anyway.
I hope they liked the second part better then the first "so Mr. and Mrs. Everson said you could live here, I will pay rent for you guys and you also will be going to the same school as me ' Dreamers Academy' but the middle school section not the senor section, Cat will show you around...speaking of which you better go get ready, one of the maids went to a store this morning with a list of clothes I sent out for the both of you, the clothes you have here are a little ratty and after school today you are going to go shopping and get yourself something's, Cat is going to take you" I said. By the end of my speech they had grins so big on their faces I thought it may actually brake their cheeks!
I could see the happiness on their faces, but being me I was still uncertain "if you don't like any part of that plan just tell me and I will see what I can-" but before I could finish they both talked me into a hug both constantly repeating words of thanks. I chuckled and got off the ground. I pulled the twins up after me "ok well go to your rooms and get ready, oh and Kirin" they were going to the door and they both stopped to look at me "yer?" he said and I put on my serious face as I gave him a equally serious warning. My brother may have turned into a player, but what hadn't changed was my ability to scare him half to death with my serious face "Cat is no toy, so if you even think about playing her I will beat you into next week brother" I said and he gulped then blushed. He looked down to the ground and ran a hand through his hair "what if..." he cleared his throat then looked at me then Tess "What if I really...umm....really like her?" he said. It was dead silent for a total of 10 second before me and Tess started to giggle uncontrollably "The. Player. Got. Played" Tess said in between burst of giggles.
I ruffled his hair and Tess's to and sent them out the door with a blushing brother and a giggling sister. I can't wait to see Kelly's face when-
KELLY! I completely forgot to tell the twins Kelly was here, she wasn't here last night so she should be here this morning. I was out the door and toward the stair case faster then you can say 'child hood friends' I ran to the floor where Jeremy's bedroom was, that's when I realized I would have no idea of wear Kelly would be...well I could always ask. I skipped over to Jeremy's door. I gave three loud knocks. From inside the room there was a loud moan "go away" said Jeremy's groggy voice "I was having the best dream" he said. I rolled my eyes then realizing he couldn't see I chuckled "yer well you can get rid of me faster if you can tell me where Kelly is" I said. There was a loud shuffle of sheet "Madison?" he said I let out a sigh "no it's the queen" I said there was a soft moan, different this time, coming from Jeremy. Then I heard the springs of the mattress move as if he was rolling over then a large BANG "Jeremy?" I asked in concern, there was just a grunt of pain from the other side "Jeremy?" when he didn't answer again I pushed open the door to see him kneeling on the other side of the bed holding his arm "what did you do?" I asked trying to distracted myself from the fact I needed distracting from his half dressed self, I mean dose this boy ever wear a shirt? I mean it was just plain...distracting!" you...gave me a shock and I rolled over and fell out he said" the sighed and turned around.
I raised an eye brow as his eyes practically bulged out of his head "only you could manage to fall out of a bed this big" I said and walked over and lay down with my hands behind my head on his bed "so I just wanted to thank you for...everything" I said, so thank you's weren't really my strong point, when he didn't answer I turn to see him looking me up and down with a dropped jaw "Jeremy?!" I yelled to get his attention, he seemed to snap out of it and look me in the eyes "oh umm, that....yer don't even worry it was nothing" he said in some type of daze still half asleep I bet. I rolled over so I was facing him on my belly and propped up on my elbows. He gulped and seemed to shuffle back a little bit, but I ignored it "no it wasn't nothing, I owe you one so thanks" I said with a smile. He smiled back,
I then finally remembered why I had actually come to his room "oh, do you know where Kelly would be?" I asked and he look taken back. He seemed to look out the window as he thought over my question " in the kitchen I think" he said I smiled and patted his head "thanks Jeremy" I said and ran out the door. A smile playing on my lips. I ran back to my room a pulled on some jeans that one of the maids had gotten for me and I ran to the kitchen. I saw Cat, Kirin and Tess sitting at the breakfast table, not yet aware Kelly was just out the back "hey Cat, Twins" I said with enthusiasm. Cat smiled "Good morning Mads" she said, then the twins said in unison "morning sister" I chuckled. As I walked passed them "where are you going?" asked Tess as Kirin whispered something to Cat, Cat rolled her eyes and mover her chair a little further away from him, oh Kirin you can't use your player tricks on this one, she has to players for brothers, she can tell when you are a player.
I smiled at Tess " I just have to get something out of the kitchen, if you and Kirin wouldn't mind standing right there actually I said pointing to the side of the table, Cat shrugged, and the twins looked confused as they got up and stood where I asked. I smiled wider and rushed out the back. There was Kelly about to bring out two plates and having a conversation with the cook about syrup "sorry to interrupt, but Kelly I need your help" I said hiding my smile, she smiled at me "MADs" she squeal and put the plates down to give me a hug, the cook chuckled as he turned back to the fry pan. "hey Kelly" I said grabbing her by the wrist and pulling her to the door " what do you need help with?" she asked I smiled brighter "well I don't need help as much as I need you to see something" I said with a smile. She just nodded with a curious look on her face. I pushed open the door and pulled Kelly through "now I believe you guys remember each other?" I said pointing from the twins to Kelly. Their faces where priceless. Kirin was the first to speak "no firkin way....Kelly?" Kelly smiled brighter and started to run for my brother and sister which where as much hers as mine "MY TROUBLESOME TWO!" she screamed as they all had a little hugging session.
"KELLY!" they screamed. I chuckled and walked over to Cat "bet she wouldn't have seen this one coming" I said to Cat and she smiled "I almost forgot you said that the twins knew Kelly, well I guess this worked out perfectly I mean they can be hear for Kelly's wedding now" the hello's stopped and the Twins looked dead at Kelly "Your getting married?" hissed Kirin "who is he what's his name? Maddy is he good enough for Kelly? I will beat him to a pulp if he ever hurts you K-" but Tess hit him over the back of his head "Mads has probably already given the whole threat speech K" she rolled her eyes then looked at Kelly "that's so wonderful Kelly, I'm so glad you finally found someone worthy of you" she said with a smile Kelly beamed at the twins "god I can't believe you guys are here" she breathed and the twins smiled at her and hugged her again. We all sat down at the kitchen table and filled the twins on about Kelly and how I came to know the Everson's as everyone but me and Kelly ate breakfast.
After about 40 minutes someone cleared their throat. We all turned around to see Jeremy standing in the door way "hate to break up the reunion here, but Cat and twins, the driver is waiting out the front for you, or you are going to be late for school" he said in his I'm-so-cool voice. Cat jumped out of her seat and the twins gave Kelly a hug and me to before walking out the door, just before they were gone I yelled out "oh guys after you go shopping this afternoon come straight back ok! I wont be here because after school I have to help Shaklee out at her shop and then later tonight I...umm...I " I mumbled the next part really, really softly " I have a date" I said and I don't think anyone heard...well I didn't think anyone heard until Jeremy gasped and the blurted out "your still going on a date tonight with that air head Baz?" he said I rolled my eyes and got back on the defensive side " his name is BLAZE. B-L-A-Z-E, Blaze!" I said and through my hands up in the air. He just sneered and turned around to walk out the door. Tess and Kelly look intrigued and Kirin looked more interested in looking at Cat from the corner of his eyes and she also looking at him from the corner of hers. I rolled my eyes " I will tell you guys about it later right now we have to get to school" I said in my that's-that voice and they hurried off with a quick good bye and a hug each for me.
I stormed out to the front of the house to see Jeremy sitting in my car. Oh HELL no "what do you think you are doing?" I yelled at him. He smirked from the driver's side of the car " you said you owed me, so this is what I want in return for my help, I want to drive your car for a day" he said I gritted my teeth "then what am I supposed to drive idiot" I said through tight teeth. He grinned wider "well I will driver you so hope in" he said with a care free smile. I slapped a hand to my face and let out a deep breath. I looked up to Jeremy's grinning face, he was right, I did owe him. I walked over to the passenger side and hopped in " fine but if you so much as leave a mark on my baby I will cut off your hands and feet and you will never drive again, got that rich boy?" I said, he started the car and pulled out rather smoothly "got it bad girl" he said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and flicked his ear "HEY" he said in play protest. I chuckled "eyes on the road "he chuckled with me but did as I instructed and looked out to the road. Ok so maybe this won't be so bad....

Ok so I was wrong...this was horrible! "what do you mean Jeremy?" I hissed as we headed to our table for lunch " I mean that's why bunny's eat carrot's. I mean could you think of another reason?" he said as we sat down. I sighed and put my head down on the table "ok for the last time Jeremy. The fact that Carrot look like weird hippy light savers does not mean that Bunny's eat them because they want to be like Star Wars!" I said in a huff and when he opened his mouth to argue with me yet again a hand came down on my shoulder, me and Jeremy both looked to our left to see a smiling Blaze " hey there Mads" he said I smiled up at him "hey Blaze" I said. Jeremy snorted and ate one of his chips. I rolled my eyes at his child like behavior, Blaze pretended he wasn't even their "so where can I pick you up tonight?" he asked I smiled brighter at his cool charm.
I wrote the address for where the shoot was taking place "I have a modeling shoot after school today you can pick me up from that address. He looked down and smiled at me "cool, I guess I will see you at 8 then?" I smiled and nodded. As last time he left with a single kiss on my cheek. After he left I sighed dreamily, Jeremy growled "what do you even like about that guy?" he said I shrugged my shoulders and took a bight of my sandwich "a lot of things" I said. He raised an eye brow at me. I rolled my eyes "oh just eat your burger and chips and stop asking me about Blaze" I said getting a little pissed of. He let out a sigh and the other boys joined us, they were having a conversation about chocolate verses whipped cream "Chocolate may be sex, but whipped cream is so much more sexy!" said Ryan to Oscar who had already started eating, I mean where does that boy put it? "yes it may be sexier, but Chocolate can go with so much more and there is a holiday for it called Easter!" Ryan nodded in agreement and so did Kale. It must be a guy thing.
All of a sudden Jeremy got this look on his face and his head snapped to me "wait did you say you have a modeling shoot this afternoon?" all the guys heads snapped to me. I crossed my arms over my chest " well I'm doing it as a favor for a friend ok, I already know I'm not model material" I humped at the end. They didn't need to rub it in. a small smile spread across Jeremy's face "actually I was thinking the exact opposite" he said, then the other three had to ruin the moment by agreeing then talking about which they would rather eat off me chocolate or whipped cream "GUYS!" I yelled at them they all looked at me, chocolate was losing 1 to 3. I rolled my eyes and got out of my chair "it has o be a guy thing" I said and walked out of the cafeteria, I was heading for my locker when a arm snaked around my waist and pulled me back "guess who?" said the voice from behind me. I stopped dead in my tracks.
Some girls may like being surprised, but I wasn't one of them and especially not by this person, no this person I would rather have not court me in a school hallway.
"What are you doing here?" I said without turning.
The voice chuckled in my ear "we got a race Mads" he said. I sighed and turned around. Well I did need the money.
When I turned around I was faced with Graves around my waist, Crank, Daisy standing in front and Kitty with a sling on, standing to the side "you guys should not be in here" I hissed " how did you even get passed the gauds?" they all looked a daisy. I raised an eye brow as she put a thumb throw her VERY short, short-shorts and brushed hair out of her face with the other hand "well I have my way with words" she said and I rolled my eyes. "Fine guys but I need to be back before lunch is over" I said and Daisy nodded. I looked down to what I was wearing " don't worry Honey I have some clothes you can wear" said Daisy. I remembered last time she 'lent' me clothes and shuddered "I think I have a spare pare of clothes in my car" I said. She looked disappointed and I rolled my eyes. We all started to head to the front of school, when I remembered who had my keys.
"Daisy!" I said she turn around quickly on her 6 inch heels "yes Mads?" she said I held out a piece of paper I had in my pocket and I pulled a pen out of a open locker nearby " write the address down I have to go get my keys from Jeremy" I said. My whole team had this knowing look on their faces as they smiled wickedly after giving e they address then they walked away, I rushed to the café to find the boys all talking in a huddled whisper "ok sorry to interrupted your little gossip session girls, but Jeremy I need my keys" he gave me a curious look "why?" I gritted my teeth together "just give me the keys Jeremy" I said he smirked and then lent back in his chair "nope" he said popping the P. I narrowed my eyes at him. Then I looked at the other three boys at the table, well they already knew my secret. I leant forward really close to the boys "my team just came and ambushed me in the halls, apparently there is an important race and I need to be there now, so please Jeremy hand over the keys." All four boys got a look of pure excitement on their faces.
How could I have forgotten that these boys where males and rather enjoyed racing? "ok we will get going now then?" Jeremy said with a smile and before I could even protest Ryan, Oscar and Kale where walking in front of me while Jeremy dragged me with him right behind the boys. I couldn't even protest, I mean why couldn't the boys come? The thing was they could, why was I going? Because I had to, " why didn't I pull away from Jeremy as he held me closer then necessary all the way to the car? Well I couldn't argue or protest because I didn't even have an answer for myself...my did I like Jeremy to hold me so much...Why did I like Jeremy? Well that was easily answered, I liked him because he was a human sex god, smart, caring, kind, funny, sweat, loving and-
My step flattered a little, but I don't think he noticed. This actually made a lot of sense....I mean why wouldn't I like Jeremy? I mean like, LIKE Jeremy? That's when I was pushed into the driver's side of the car and headed off to the address on the piece of paper in my pocket. I smiled as I looked in my side vision and saw Jeremy...yes I wanted Jeremy. Then my smile fell to a frown, as I realized it. When do I ever get what I want in life, the answer? Never. Never, ever, ever. I mean why someone like Jeremy, ever want someone like...well like me. He would never want me, so why should I even try? Well I won't, I won't get my heart broken, I already have a guy wanting me and I might kind of want him, I mean Blaze was the realistic choice here. For my whole life I have always had to settle for reasonable and realistic, Jeremy was a dream, Blaze was the closest thing in reality I will get to a dream...so I guess I will just have to settle for that "WATCH IT!" yelled Jeremy grabbing my hands on the wheel and pulling us out of the was of a oncoming car "woops" was all I could say as I was trying not to blush at the fact Jeremy was, right now...kind holding my hand.
Well it was hard to forget a dream when it held you hand it felt so real. I pulled to a stop at the address and locked eyes with Jeremy. Yes it is going to be REALLY hard.

I have 5 assignment due and I blew them off for this I tried a little harder with my grammar and spelling so I hope you like this one because I need to get some sleep right now. Like really badly.
