The next 30 minutes had to of been the longest 30 minutes of the groups summer, clouds drifted lazily through the sky without a care in the world, the sun, although very slowly, paced across the sky in pursuit of the fleeing clouds. The gentle breeze rolled across the ground, scrapping at it and taking what dust it could, sometimes a leaf or two at most. The groups re-formed with Jack now joining Heiwa as he watched her play her game. Rob had sat beside Amelia now, watching over her intently, Olivia sadly had to leave because the last bus that she could get was coming around. However as soon as one pair of foot steps were heard leaving another pair were heard approaching. The noise, although meant to be nearly silent, was heard by everyone in the area, it echoed loudly as every step and every little sound was exaggerated almost extremely, "who could possibly want to bother us this t- oh it's that Sylveon that George knows" Nathan called out as everyone turned to face the Frogadier who was busy staring at Gabriel as he approached, the Sylveon froze for a second as all eyes feel onto him, but after a moment he continued walking. When he stopped he was on top of the boulder group 2 was sitting around "I do admit this body is very agile, and fast" "yeah we know" George said as he reminisced over the memory of chasing Gabriel down as well as escaping his friends, George still got chills whenever he walked down that path. "Well I can say I'm getting use to it all, check this out" Gabriel said proudly as he moved all his ribbons in a synced dance, they swerved looped and spun around each other gracefully "that's right I can command them all, at will" he amazed the other three with his skills "so how long did this take you to do?" George asked curiously "oh what this? Well not too long, a few hours of just messing around with them" Gabriel admitted as he laid himself across a boulder "so are you taking the shell off again?" Chloe asked, Tom looked at her nervously and then at George nervously, he went back and forth between the two as George made his decision "nah I can't be bothered to go through all the hassle that's involved" Tom breathed a sigh of relief, Gabriel just looked confused "wait again?" "yeah sorry Gabriel I've already shown these two my new party trick" while they talked more Tom looked over at group 4 and chuckled a bit "heh . . . isn't it kinda funny . ." "huh what's funny?" Chloe asked as she too looked at group 4 "well Jack seems to be hanging out with . . . what was it . . . Heiwa? Yeah that's it . . . isn't it funny how just a few weeks ago he was an all guy kinda person" everyone in group 2 looked confused by the Gengar who then went to correct himself "what I mean is, isn't it weird how Jack went from not really being friendly with any of the girls to suddenly being extremely interested in her?" and one by one they put two and two together "no . . ." "you don't really think that he . . . ." "no way" George said "Jack always put sports before anybody else, I mean wasn't his goal to become a sprinter and run for a living right? I don't see how a pers-" "then you're not looking hard enough, people will change all the time, whether you notice or not, we have all changed, I believe for the better, I mean look at me I use to be all doom and gloom, I hated everything . . . and to be honest I didn't know why . . . . but still look at me now, I'm much more social, positive, upbeat and I say preferably a little more relaxed and loose than I was before all of this" Tom let himself leave the boulder and then drift around the group "you may have not noticed it yourselves but you've all changed too" group 2 then begun to look around at each other and then contemplate by themselves. "I guess I've somehow became more positive?" George suggested while he shrugged in defeat "close but not there . . . if you ask me I believe you've become more supportive with others, you've been a good leader" "I haven't done anything though" "well we haven't really done anything as a group at all, hell we didn't meet up this much before you vanished for a week, hell I didn't like any of you guys before I changed . . . no offence" "offence tak-" "it's fine" the chesnaught said as he leaned against the boulder, cutting the ninetales off before she could finish. "Still though, isn't it weird how quickly they become friends? How long ago, a day? and suddenly they're like best friends, something seems off" Tom commented as he kept watching Heiwa and Jack "okay, you don't get to complain, you weren't friends with anyone here, as you just said, and I mean Gabriel is the newest here and look how easily he's been welcomed into the group" Chloe stated as she motioned over to the two mentioned pokenoids, the Sylveon silently agreed as did the Gengar "well . . . . . ah fine, I'll give her a chance, but just a chance, if she starts actin' suspicious at all, I'll be on her case, got that" Tom declared as touched down on the boulder again, ending the decision at hand.
Group 1 was the quietest group of the bunch, Rob watched over his sister with great care and concern for her, she tossed a few times now which made the suggestion that she was just sleeping now 'it'd be best just to let her rest' Rob thought as he watched over her, glancing around at the others from time to time, he wondered how they could all talk like this even after everything that had happened, maybe he was over reacting, maybe he wasn't, Rob wasn't sure. "They all just seem to be able to act like nothing happened . . . . maybe I'm just over reacting . . . . is it natural for this to happen? To be worried about a sibling . . Heh . . . It's weird, I've spent most of my life hating her, now here I am worrying over here like she'll be the next sleeping beauty" Rob chuckled softly to himself as he looked over at her, Amelias face scrunched up slightly as if to show her dream was getting worse 'w-well it's only been . . . 20 minutes . . . . sh-she'll be fine' "o-of course she will" the Hawlucha assured himself quietly, a hint if nervousness was heard in his voice. "A-amelia will . . . . Amelia will be . . . . Amelia?" Rob looked over at her in surprise, she seemed to show even more signs on consiousness, one sign was that her eyes were open now " . . . what? What is it? . ." the Meowstick asked softly as she put her hands against the floor and pushed herself up, she didn't get long by herself though as she was very quickly swept up into a hug "w-what the hell has gotten into-" "just shut up okay . . ." Rob spoke as he held her tightly, she eventually lifted her arms and returned the hug, after accepting the hug she felt something hit her back, something wet? "Rob . . . you okay . . " Amelia asked while she tried to look at her brother, he had her locked in place with his hug "don't you ever try that again, you hear me" Rob ordered sturnly while he sniffed loudly after his sentence "what? . . . . try what? Rob what are you talking about?" Amelia asked honestly as she continued to hugged her brother, he didn't respond he just kept on hugging her. Everyone else was looking over at them, not wanting to go over and ruin their moment together, Tom was hesitant about not going over to apologise but he was talked down by George and he agreed to not go. After their tight embrace Rob announced that he was taking Amelia home "sure she's awake but we don't know if she'll stay conscious or not so I'm taking her home to be safe" Rob helped Amelia up and began walking with her, soon being tailed by Tom for obvious reasons, Chloe also took her leave along with Patrick, James and Nathan, group 3 said they were going to train and Chloe asked to join them. This left Gabriel, George and group 4, although the other two were in the midst of a game, too busy to notice them "well looks like everyone is busy doing their own thing again" George sighed, not in sadness but in relief "makes my job as leader easier" "wait your the leader" George looked confused at first but then realized "oh yeah, I didn't tell you that . . . . well as you do know I was the first one to change-" "you were?!?!" 'I guess that's two things I didn't tell him' "well yes I was, and your the last person to have changed recently . . . right?" the chesnaught hoped that the small sense of doubt in stomach was just his lunch not sitting well "well I haven't seen any new pokenoids, well then again, they are kind of hard to tell apart from normal pokemon" Gabriel admitted as he scratched behind his ear, while he was scratching his ears the pair of them twitched suddenly, surprising him and causing him to nearly loose his balance "what was that about" George asked in surprise, as he turned to face Gabriel fully "I think I heard something . . . . . wait no not something . . someone . . ." the Sylveon spoke quietly, concentrating as he tried to hear for the noise again. More twitching followed as he picked up the sound " . . . footsteps . . . . behind me" he rotated himself and looked out with confidence, without a doubt people were arriving to the arena that Jack had made. A group of 5 kids, all boys around the same age as them, came waltzing in acting all tough and looking around liked they owned the place, or were trying to at least, the leader (the one at the front) seemed to be going for the cool and calm attitude, carefree and couldn't care less if you threw a fist at them, the other four were (trying their best) to look menacing and rude. They split into 2 groups and headed in different directions, the group of 3 went other to Heiwa and Jack while the leader and another kid waltzed up to George and Gabriel "are you'z the ones who owns this place" the leader said with the worst tough guy accent anyone could ever imagine, George and Gabriel looked at each other, shrugged their shoulders and kept talking like usual "so anyways, how are you adjusting to the town, you came from . . . Kalos right?" Gabriel nodded "yeah, it was big, too big for my mum and Patches liking, they both prefer the quiet town, small community li-" "HEY . . . I am talking to you!" The leader shouted, with the intent if scaring the two pokenoids into listening, George huffed in annoyance and Gabriel pinched the area between his eyes as they both turned to face the two "you know being polite will get you much further in a conversation th-" "oh will you shut up, I'll be doing the talking here" the leader demanded, the Chesnaught rolled his eyes "very well . . . what do y-" "this here turf" George looked around confused as the leader did his best to look intimidating, by that I mean he scrunched up his face and frowned, 'turf? What turf, there's no turf here only . . . oh' "oooooohhhh, you mean you want the battle ground" the leader looked angry while his subordinate tried to look intimidating like his leader did, by repeating what the other guy did "yes I mean I want this place, now hand it over, or we'll take it by force" the leader took a step forward and pulled his hands into fists and threw them together, showing that he would fight for this place. Gabriel looked concerned when the threat of a fight came to mind, he couldn't fight let alone use any moves, but that fear quickly changed to confusion as the chesnaught beside him did something odd. George just started to chuckle, very softly but then growing in loudness, this caused the leader to look angrily at the chesnaught "you think this is funny tough guy?!" The leaded asked as he stepped up to face George, the kid didn't even come up to his shoulders, even without his shell on he'd still be taller than this guy, George just started laughing when he realised that he could easily take the leader on "you got a death wish or something" the leader spoke intimidatingly, while his silent subordinate drew his finger across his neck while still trying to look scary, now Gabriel was chuckling too, this guy was a joke to them, as horrible as it seemed they couldn't help but laugh. "That's it were throwing down right here right now!" The leader demanded and threw a fist outward to punch George in the stomach, the Chesnaught stood there happily and took the hit. When it collided however George wasn't the one in pain though, leader was. He brought his fist back in pain as he held back tears "w-what is up with this freak" he went to throw another, the fist landed in the same place and he drew his back in pain once again, this time yelling words that are not welcome in a school environment "oh go on, I'm sure that this tough guy persona will last a lot longer if you keep hitting me, either that or you'll break you hand, but trust me when I say this. One of those two things is getting broken right here . . . right now . ." now the chesnaught was being the intimidating one, closing the distance between them and looking him dead in the eyes with a blank face that showed that what he said was serious, he was being much more successful at it than the leader and his little goonie gang were. It was at this moment that the leader turned tail and run, soon followed by his subordinate, both had the look of terror in their eyes, the other group of 3 also turned tail and ran along with them.
"What did you two do?" Gabriel asked as him and George jogged over, at this point Heiwa was standing up but still had her eyes locked onto the screen of her small console, Jack was chuckling to himself "okay your gonna want to hear this" he spoke as if he was telling a grand tale of adventure and continued from their.
Flashback, 5 minutes ago
"And that is how I, the king of the sky, came to be the loveable Flygon that you now know" Jack finished magnificently while Heiwa kept her eyes on the screen, but this time instead of playing, the screen was locked on the pause menu "um . . . Is something wrong? Y-you paused your game . . . you nev-" "6.7/10 . . ." Heiwa cut in as she scored Jack? (Yes even I'm confused by this) the Flygon looked puzzled at Heiwa for the sudden ranking "d-did you just . . rank my story telling?" He asked bewildered by the girl, she turned her head and let her light purple eyes meet Jacks goggle covered eyes "it's around a 6.7, the over exaggeration was not really needed, but it was a nice touch . . . it put your score by 0.5 marks" 'my grand gestures only got me 0.5 extra marks!!' "But altogether it was a nice presentation, without the exaggerations in the plot it would of been a decent 7.9 maybe even a 8.2" Heiwa spoke calmly as she gave her criticism, trying her best not to hurt Jack's feelings and at the same time also give him constructive advise, after she finished the Flygon gave an understanding nod and Heiwa turned back to her game. It was that point that the group of 3 guys headed their way, when they got their the shadow of the guy in front covered Heiwas console screen "thanks Jack . . . but I can see just fine . ." Heiwa mumbled as she looked upwards, she met an angry pair of eyes that tried their best to look as angry as possible ". . . oh it's you . ." she sounded disappointed, she let her head drop back to her screen as everyone else looked at her in shock "you makin' fun of us . . . you think we're a joke or somethin' " the guy closest to the back did the talking this time, he was also doing his best to act tough and intimidating, "I'm sorry but . . . who are these clowns and how fast can I beat them to the ground . ." Jack asked quietly, leaning down and whispering to Heiwa to make sure that they wouldn't hear him "there just a group of guys from school that think that they're tough . . . like a sub boss in a dungeon . ." Heiwa also spoke quietly trying to not catch the attention of the boys 'how many people do I ignore at school?' Jack wondered as he looked over the group. "HEY! I am talkin' to yous' two knuckle 'eads" the same guy shouted at the pair, grabbing their attention "now then, get outta here, this place is ours now" the middle guy spoke up theateningly as he moved to the front of the group, no one said anything for a bit, a semi tense atmosphere hit the air they could hear yelling from the leader "looks like were doin' this after all" the guy at the back said reluctantly as he began to crack his knuckles, or at least tried to crack them. Jack looked ready to fight, but then remembered that he had to back down 'law decrees that I can't attack anybody unless they use a pokemon on me or they mean to cause fatal damage' Jack cursed in his head as he backed down "what's the matter, chicken" the middle guy chuckled, he then moved to the front and stood directly in front of Heiwa "well lookie here, what's a pretty little la-" " . . mouth breather . . ." Heiwa mumbled as she stood up and went to walk away, at this point the group of guys couldn't turn back now. The goonie at the back rushed towards Heiwa and smacked the console out of her hands, is cluttered to the floor and the screen flickered, and died. Jack was angry, no furious, at the group " . . . why . . you . ." he trailed off as he let his anger subside, his anger turned to sympathy as he watched Heiwas blank yet surprised face as she stared down shocked at the console, the goonies started laughing loudly and the sympathy soon turned back into anger "aaawwww whats the matter wittle giwrl . . . . yow gowna cwy cuz I bwoke yow damn g-" the goonie who was talking was silenced by a strike to the face, everyone apart from the attacker looked shocked by their sudden move. The goonie was sent crashing to the floor, he held his jaw in pain, a muffled sound could be heard as he held his jaw, most likely his desperate attempt at stopping himself from crying "get out of here. Don't come back" the attacker demanded and the goonies did as told, fear in their eyes as they picked up their fallen comrade and turned tail and run, coincidentally their leader was also running away as well.
Flashback ends
"And that is how our end of the story went" Jack finished calmly, as if nothing happened "did I get above a 7 that time?" He asked impatiently, Heiwa raised a hand and gave a thumbs up " . . . 7.2 / 10 . . it kept all the facts . . but again with the hand gestures . . . ." she almost sounded like she was a scolding him, Gabriel didn't care whether or not he used hand gestures but instead he cared about how everything he heard was true "so hold up you punched a guy? Why?" He looked at the pair, confused and concerned at their sudden act of violence "they got what they deserved." Heiwa said coldly as she put the console away and sat down lazily "but still it only took one punch . . ." "Well it just shows they were all talk and no bark. The leader punched me in the stomach twice, didn't feel a thing. In fact I think he was the only person who got hurt" George spoke just as calmly as he usualy would, causing Gabriel to look even more concerned at him instead of the other two.
"Well there's no use in staying here, those guys will probably come back and actually put up a fight next time, maybe use some pokemon" George suggested wisely, the other 3 agreed to this "that's why you're the leader, why don't we split into teams of 2 and stick with each other" Jack suggested, which lead to him getting the 'really mate' eyes from George and Gabriel "d-don't give me that . . . I'm suggesting this in case those guys come back, a 1 on 5 would be a very unfair battle" Jack explained "well so would a 2 on 5, give me at least 1 example where a pair has defeated an army" Gabriel also spoke wisely "well actually in Super ma-" "zip it" Jack interrupted Heiwa to save them all the trouble of listening to an hour long speech about 2 plummers fighting a giant turtle. ". . . no the point is, is that neither Gabriel or Heiwa can fight, can they . . . no they can't. So it's best if you two go with either me or George, and didn't you and George have plans to meet up later Gabriel?" "H-huh . . u-uum well I-" "good then it's decided, I will go with Heiwa and you Gabriel will go as a pair too" George nodded in agreement "don't agree with him, the leader should make the wise decisions" "oh what am I not worthy enou-" "No you do have a point" "I do?! / He does?!" the Sylveon and Flygon looked at their leader in shock and surprise "Well just like he said, you can't fight and Heiwa can't really either so it should be reasonable to go with someone who can fight" when George had finished Jack puffed out his chest in victory, Gabriel sagged his head slightly in defeat and frowned "fine . . ." grumbled the Sylveon, as he reluctantly accepted his fate. "Well . . . I guess I'll see you guys later then" Heiwa said calmly as she stood up and walked away, Jack following quickly as he flew after her, as they did leave Heiwa slipped her bag off of her back and placed her small console in her bag delicately "you not gonna play your games?" "No . . . the screen is scratched so I'll have to fix it up a little when I get in . . . . . besides my hand hurts from earlier . ." she sighed as the pair walked further and further into the distance.
"well shall we get going?" "Indeed, let us proceed" Gabriel motioned to the path behind them in a gentelmenly manner and the pair began walking away with a happy stride in their step 'just one more fight and then this whole thing can end . . . . Arceus why did I purpose this thing in the first place . . ' the chesnaught brushed away the thought and decided to focus on spending time with his friend, after all summer would be ending in a matter of weeks, then school would rear its ugly head.

So to make up for not posting for most of March I decided to make a very big chapter and cut it into two parts, I know that people don't enjoy having too much on one page so I cut it down to two pages, you're welcome.
Now some of you may already know that I started a Q and A on my account, this Q and A means that you get to ask all of the characters anything you want (within the realms of reason of course). I'm also open to talking about any upcoming stories that I might be working on behind the scenes.
I know that this is all getting repetitive with the authors notes but I have two reasons behind it:
1) I want people to know about the Q and A so they'll interact with it more, which shows me that what I'm doing is good (and don't be shy about your questions).
2) This is the only new book that I've brought out since A sudden change, since the upcoming will take time to make AND I'm hopping to put a demo of it out, so stay tuned for that.
