He Just Watched Her
He knows they still have a chance if only he had open up his mouth.
He knows they still have a chance if only he was brave enough to show how much he cares for her.
He knows they still have a chance if only he took a step forward and confessed to her.
But then he did nothing.
He just cowardly watched her while she is being taken away by someone he sees as a big threat.
He just silently stood there as another man makes his way to her heart.
He just let her walk away until she totally slip from his hands.
He was a dastard who tied his feet to the ground.
He zipped his mouth.
He built walls on his heart.
He opted not to fight.
And so he was just watching her again as she tied a knot with another man.
While aching.
Regretting.
Crying.
Because why not?
He just watched her from the beginning.
