"What are you doin' today?" Aug asked watching me get dressed
"Dress shopping I told you that last night." I looked at him through the mirror seeing his low red eyes letting me know he was high
"Oh yeah." He lied nodding as if he remembered
"You don't even remember liar" I laughed
"Shit you right" He joined me laughing
"You going to miss me?" I asked wrapping my arms around his neck straddling his lap
"I always miss my lady when you gone" He cupped my ass kissing on neck
"August why." I whined knowing he was leaving a hickey
"Because you mine" He smirked rubbing over where he sucked on
Fine fucker.
"I was going to take Chasity but my baby is getting sick" I pouted she had a little cough and a stuffy nose but we already went to the doctors and got her medicine for it so it wouldn't get any worse
"You so dramatic baybeh you cried" He laughed shaking his head
"Because I wanted to take the whole cold away from her she looked so sad and it made me sad and emotionally." I said getting from his lap going to grab my foundation and to apply it to my neck
Once done I grabbed my coat and bag "I'll be back around 5 or 6-ish I'm not sure" I mumbled going through my bag to get my chapstick
"Aight" He sighed
"What's the matter babe?" I asked
"I miss havin' time for US das' all but go on ahead"
"Me too" I frowned a little "Between work, having Chasity, planning her little party, the wedding AND making sure I have time for my husband is a lot but once I we get this wedding and party out the way we can plan something for just us"
"And you gon' let me put my son in you?" Smirking over at him I bit down at my lip
"Yes I'll have your son August" I laughed shaking my head
"Aight I love you"
"I love you too" I pecked his lips repeatedly before going to Chasity room where she was sleep with her face all frowned up checking if she had a fever of any sort then kissed her cheek before leaving
"Bitch where you at?!" Cam yelled as I answered the phone
"Why are you screaming and I'm on my way there now."
"Okay girl they giving out snack, bye I'll see you when you get here" She said right before hanging up the phone.

"Okay so this one goes for around 4,500" Maria said as she helped me on the dressed
"This is beautiful" I looked over the design of the dress
"Come on Char!" I heard Cam shout making both me and Maria laugh before we both walked out
"What do you guys think?" I asked
"The fitting is bomb as hell" Cam said
"But it isn't you" Aunt Lauren added
"I had my eye on an dress since I came in here" Janice said getting up from her seat making me sigh
"Anything will do as of right now"
We been in here for the last three or four hours and all I wanted to eat and cuddle with my man and tend to my sick baby at the moment.
Maria followed behind her most likely to get my correct size.
Sighed I rubbed my eyes
"What wrong Zen?"
"Just hungry and tired but I'm excited to finally be looking for the dress of my dreams." I smiled
"My Zen is finally getting married" She sighed happily as her eyes glossy
"No don't cry you're going to make me cry" I fanned my eyes smiling
"Okay I have the dress-" Janice said coming back over where we was "Wait why is there cryin' goin' on?."
"No, no it's happy tears" I sniffled
"Okay good. We found the dress in a size up but we can always make alterations if you want too."
"That's fine with me only if they could have it done by the date I need it and IF this is the one."
"Okay here we are" Maria came with the dress in her hand
As I finished putting on the dress I was face the other way from the mirror
"Is it weird that I'm nervous that this dress is the one" I chuckled softly biting down at my lip
"No that's fine are you ready?" She asked nodding I turned around gasping as the sight of the dress it was a little big but it was my perfect.
"Okay I'm ready to show them before I cry my eyes out" We laughed as she handed me a tissue walking out
Hearing them gasp "That is the one Char you look so beautiful!" Cam said dabbing under eyes with a tissue
"Got me in here crying and shit" She mumbled making me laugh
"How do you like Aunt Lauren?"
"It's perfect" She smiled
"Thank you" I hugged Janice
"Anything for my daughter" She hugged me just as tight making me sob into her shoulder it was sad because I wanted to be able to to do this with my mother that instead of having a close relationship like I wanted I knew we would never have
"Honey what's wrong?" She rubbed my back
"N-Nothing" I shook my head putting my head into my hands
"Guys give us a minute." I heard my Aunt say
"Zen what's wrong why are you crying?" She asked softly removing my hands from my face
Sighing before talking "I hate that I still cry over her that I wish I could have her here saying the same words that Janice said to me like a real mother suppose tho be doing" I sniffled feeling myself getting emotional but felt stupid because I knew she didn't care about me "But fuck her she didn't want to be part of my life she doesn't need to be I have a family that loves me" I whipped my eyes
"You know you have everybody here that loves you. Stop thinking of her she's a negative memory that you don't need to worried about when you're in this beautiful gown and about to get married soon."
"You're right no more thinking about her" I nodded
"So this is the one?" She raised an eyebrow
"Yes a little expensive but August said it's no limit so.." I shrugged smiling
"Spoiled is what you are" She smiled shaking her head
"I am not!" I exclaimed laughing at the face she gave me

Once we got done at the dress shop we stop at Chipotle which I was happy about and gladly made my way back home.
Walking in the house I bite in my burrito going into the kitchen seeing Aug had music blasting so most likely he didn't hear me come in.
He was holding Chasity while rapping to her and she was smiling from ear to ear like it was the best thing in the world making me laugh going to the radio and turn it down.
"Looks like y'all was having fun." I picked up a half eaten bowl oatmeal "Is she feeling better?"
"Yea she still got the cough but she aight, ain't the right Duni?" She nodded as if she knew what he was talking about
"You ate wit'out ah' nigga?" He raised an eyebrow looking at the Chipotle bag in my hand
"Yes and No I got your bowl for you and extra chips" I handed the bag to him
"Yea you knew better and bought daddy some food"
"Boy bye" I waved him off laughing grabbing Chasity from him
"Dada!" She kissed my cheek
"Mama Duni it's mama" I tickled her
"You found your dress?" He asked as he ate a chip
"Yes" I sighed happily "Guess who helped picked it out.. Your mom" I said not giving him time to answer my question "Babe it's so beautiful"
"Lemme see it"
"Absolutely not"
"Why?" He frowned eating another spoon of food
"Because it's bad luck August you know that so I don't know why your acting surprised for" I said as I went to the fridge to grab a Gatorade and grab Chasity bottle and handing it to her since she was reaching for mine
"I ain't go school tomorrow let's do somethin' maw."
"Sure" I shrugged "What we going to do?"
"Movies? or you wanna go out to eat?"
"Movies but I wanted to do shopping to Duni she's outgrowing half of her shoes and some of her clothes"
"Aight" He nodded poking his bottom out "We ca' do that"
"Okay time for bed for you" I kissed her cheek as she yawned and smiled tiredly
"Where my damn kiss at?" Aug said looking at me like I was crazy smiling shyly I shrugged my shoulder
"Girl you better gimme a kiss" He said grabbing by waist and kissing my lips but was interrupted when Chasity smacked the side of his face making me chuckle
"Damn das' how you feel Duni I done made the best mac and cheese and allat today" He shook his said then started playfully crying
"Da?" She said reaching for him
"Spoiled"
"And you not shut up"
Waving him off "Let me take her a bath and bed time"
"You gon' let me get me some tonight?"
"We'll see" I walked away smirking
"Baybeh?!" He called after me but ignored him and continue my way upstairs
