The demon is Victoria's father. Victoria is Rose and Steve's only  daughter. Even if she speaks in the third person. There is NO other child.

"Victoria!" I jumped when Sebastian came barging into my office.

"Wha-" I closed when he closed the door and turned to me as I looked at him with wide eyes.

Hunter and Stella have a lot of patience.

"I came to make sure that you weren't mad at me too. You know I wanted to tell but Jason threatened me with a gun. You know he is a bully a-" He paused when I let out a laugh.

"I'm not mad at you. But I would have been if you were there yesterday." I said.

He smirked walking closer to take a seat. "Yeah. Jason said you gave him a hard time. Driving in the night like a lunatic."

I gasped feigning being offended. "I wasn't driving like a lunatic. I was driving like a woman who found out that she was the only one ignoring her parents' past."

He shook his head quickly. "We were going to tell. We just needed to find the right time."

"Yeah." I muttered. "You're lucky you're my favorite Knight."

He grinned. "I knew it."

"Did Elena know?"

"Who? That woman doesn't anything, and it's better that way. She's a walking catastrophe."

I chuckled shaking my head. "That is just mean."

"It's true."

"But she said she was coming to Rome with us. So we can maybe dump her there, and come back just you, me and Jason."

"Seb." I exclaimed throwing a pen at his chest. "Why are you like this? And Marco lives in Rome in case you're forgetting."

He sighed rubbing his forehead. "Yeah. I forgot that part. I just hope he won't run away at the sight of a gun."

"We are talking about Marco Lombardi. Jason's bestfriend. The man is also a psychopath, so he won't run away."

"Unfortunately."

"You know. You need to stop doing that. You wouldn't want her to die alone, would you?"

"Yes I would."

"You are horrible. You need yourself a woman and stop pushing her boyfriends away."

"I have women. I like variety, for now. I'll let you know when I find one to settle with."

I rolled my eyes at him. "You're unbelievable."

"Yeah. That's what mom says."

"Because she knows how hopeless you are."

He scoffed before smirking at me. "Jason is the hopeless one and you still put up with him. You must be used to it by now."

I shrugged. "I had to. What choice did I have?"

"I know. You know you should pay me for whatever good thing that's happening between you two."

I furrowed my eyebrows. "For what?"

"I worked hard for you two." He said like it was the most obvious thing ever.

I smiled nodding. "Then I thank you. I am forever in your debt."

"I'll remember that. You're also going to be my wing woman when I need it."

"You can count on me." I said looking at the time, noticing that it was almost time to go home.

"I have to go see my mother. Aren't you going home?"

He groaned leaning back on the seat. "Father asked Jason and I to stay longer, for some work. He is just trying to kill us, I swear."

"Or maybe, he doesn't want to give up on his hard work yet." I suggested and he just glared at me.

"Are you going to go see the gorilla to tell him you're leaving?" He asked standing up.

"The g-" I paused and couldn't help but laugh at the name he have his brother. "Don't call your brother that. I dare you to say that in his face." I said standing up too.

"I'm not suicidal."

"Let's go." I said grabbing his arm leading him out of my office.

****

"Delivery for Mr. knight." Seb said pushing Jason's office door open.

"Learn how to knock, asshole." Jason groaned as I walked in behind Sebastian.

"You are never happy, brother. I said I had a special delivery for you." He said pointing at me before taking a seat.

Always fighting.

And Seb being the youngest is always the one provoking Jason.

"I just came to tell you that I was leaving. I want to go visit my mother."

He looked at me, obviously debating.

"I better not see anyone following me. I can take care of myself."

Sebastian laughed stretching his legs out. "She can read your thoughts."

"I won't ask anyone to follow you."

I don't know why I don't trust that statement. It's Jason, for God's sake. That is too easy. I'm sure he won't come with me, because he has a meeting with his father.

So how?

He smirked looking at my expression. "What? You don't trust me?"

"No."

"I said I wouldn't ask anyone to follow you, and I won't." He said.

I looked at him suspiciously as his smirk turned into a falsely innocent smile.

I let out a defeated sigh and walked out of his office.

****

"Hi mom."

"The demon's child. How are you?" She asked looking at me. "I haven't seen you in such a long time."

I smiled walking taking a seat. She saw me two days ago.

"I'm good, mom. How are you?"

"I'm fine." She said and looked outside while I took off my shoes.

I looked at her debating if I should tell her that I talked to Kevin. She knows him, after all.

The one she calls 'the black cat'.

My father is the demon and Kevin is the black cat, and they were like brothers. At least that part makes sense now.

"What's troubling you?"

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at my mother while she was still looking outside.

"You don't talk much, but I can still know when something is bothering you. Is it your crazy friend?"

I shook my head. "No mom. It's not about him." I stopped and bit on my lower lip nervously.

Should I ask her?

If yes, I need to find a way to ask her without causing her trouble or making her have an attack.

"Can you tell me about the demon?" I finally asked turning my hands into fists hoping she wouldn't snap.

"He was bad. He looked like an angel, but his heart was dark. His heart was bad. He only cared for the his child. Victoria. His little flower. Maybe because her heart was as dark as his." She said once again speaking of me in the third person again.

I know this wasn't the moment but I couldn't help but frown slightly.

My heart is not dark.

"Her name is Victoria. You must know her. She is so beautiful and very smart. Beautiful like a doll. Like a beautiful flower. Beautiful like the demon was." She continued in a quiet tone. "But the demon's heart was dark."

I wished she would tell me everything. I want to hear the story from her. I want to confirm what Kevin told me.

The doctor said that talking about me in the third person and forgetting about me growing up was her way of pushing the bad memories away.

"And where is the demon now?"

"He is not far. He is really close."

I wish she would stop speaking in riddles. I huffed resting my head against the couch tiredly.
