After 2 hours of strenuous practice, Manik entered the canteen and plopped on his daily seat, looking dog tired.
Sitting beside him, Cabir was already on his mission of gulping down the second glass of lassi.
Manik was busy in cleaning his sweaty face with the towel, when college's Queen Bee approached him.
Soha ( politely ) : hey Manik. ...
Keeping his towel aside, Manik said " hi Soha. ..tum yaha pein? ???....kuch kaam tha kya? ??? "
Soha ( excitedly ) : Manik. ...I just personally came to congratulate you for your win against the St. Peter Ravens. ...
Manik ( calmly ) : arrey aisi koi baat nehin hai Soha. ...it was my duty to maintain our college's dignity. ...
Soha ( sweetly ) : I know Manik ki tum bahut selfless aur humble ho. ...but still. ..I bought something for you. ..
Saying this, Soha handed Manik a tiffin box.
Manik ( confused ) : yeh sab kya hai Soha? ???
Soha ( politely ) : maine aapne haathon se tumhare liye kheer baanaya hai! !!!....please isse khaane se maana maat karna!!!!!
Caught up in a dilemma, Manik said " Soha. ..its really very nice of you. ...and I really appreciate your efforts! !!!....but. ...tum toh janti hi ho. ....main Nandini ke bina tiffin nehin khaata. ...please. ...try to understand. ..."
Soha ( sadly ) : arrey Manik. ...bass ek din ki hi toh baat hai! !!!.... kam se kam taste toh kar ke dekho. ...I am sure. ...Nandini bura nehin maanegi! !!!!
Being the innocent soul he is, Manik gave into Soha's pleas, not at all aware of the repercussions.
Manik ( innocently ) : okay fine. ...but sirf ek spoon. ...
Giving Manik a thousand volt smile, Soha made him eat a spoonful of kheer, by her own hands.
Wearing her casuals with white sneakers, Nandini entered the canteen, exactly at that moment.
Seeing the view in front of her, Nandini's blood just boiled and her eyes turned red in anger.
Moving towards them, Nandini placed a tiffin box on the table with a thud sound. While , Manik was totally clueless about Nandini's behaviour, Soha just had her time smirking.
Nandini ( hell pissed ) : Cabir tu iss se keh de. .. ki chup chap yeh tiffin kha le! !!!
Manik ( confused ) : Cabir tu iss se pouch ki kya yeh mere saath tiffin nehin khaayegi? ????
Nandini ( super pissed ) : Cabir tu iss se keh de. ..ki yeh meri fikar naa kare! !!!....aaj main extra classes karne wali hu . ...isse koi zarurat nehin hai mere liye wait karne ki? ???
Manik ( concerned ) : Cabir tu iss se pouch ki yeh gussa kyon hai????....aur ab maine kya kiya? ????
Nandini ( barked ) : Cabir tu iss se bol de ki ab mere peeche ane ki koi zarurat nehin! !!!.... main iss se baat bhi nehin karne wali! !!!
Stomping her feet, Nandini left from there, not before giving murderous glares to Soha.
Cabir ( casually ) : tune sunn liya naa woh sab. ...joh bhi Nandu ne kaha? ????....yah doobara repeat karu? ???
Placing the tiffin box on Cabir's hand, Manik irritatedly said " main jaa raha hu extra practice karne! !!!....ab tu hi yeh tiffin kha le! !!! "
As soon as Manik disappeared, Cabir mumbled " ek gayi extra class karne! !!!....toh dusra gaya extra practice karne! !!!...aur mere naseeb mein yeh extra food aa gaya! !!! "

Dinner time.
Playing with the food on her plate, Nandini tried to ignore the weird gaze of her parents.
Mr Murthy ( concerned ) : sab kuch theek toh hai naa princess? ???....college se ane ke baad se hi tumhara mood kuch off hai? ???....upar se woh nalaayak aaj tumhe ghar drop nehin karne aya? ???.....how irresponsible of him! !!!!
Irritated to the core, Nandini barked " kya appa? ???....ek din agar main college se akeli aa gayi toh kaun sa pahad toot padda! !!!!..... meri life Manik pein dependent nehin hai! !!!.... why don't you just understand that? ??? "
Leaving her half eaten food, Nandini escaped to her room.
Flabbergasted by Nandini's outburst, Mr Murthy said " maine kuch galat keh diya kya? ???....princess itni gussa kyon ho gayi? ??? "
Mrs Murthy ( pissed ) : akhir aapki problem kya hai? ???.... Manu aapki princess se dur reh raha hai! !!!....arrey aapko toh iss baat se khush hona chahiye! !!!!
Sharing a piece of her mind, even Mrs Murthy left from there angrily. While, Mr Murthy was fully confused with the reason behind the outburst of the mother and daughter.
Nandini's room.
Tossing on the bed, Nandini tried to or rather pretend to sleep. But nothing helped.
Giving up on her ego, Nandini dialed the number of the person, who was like a cure to all her diseases.
As soon as the person received the call, Nandini muttered " sunn bey! !!!! "
Manik ( yawning ) : bol bey? ????
Nandini ( seriously ) : mujhe neeind nehin aa rahi! !!!!
Manik ( casually ) : toh main kya karu? ????..... naachu? ????
Nandini ( calmly ) : nehin naachne ki zarurat nehin hai! !!!.... bass tu naa ek romantic sa gaana sunna de!!!!
Manik ( sleepily ) : time dekha hai? ????......main nehin ane wala! !!!!
Nandini angrily threatened " haan toh maat aa! !!!!..... main hi tere ghar pohach jaati hu. ...door bell baajane ke liye! !!!! "
That was it, Maniks sleep flew out of the window.
Manik ( instantly ) : aa raha hu meri maa! !!!....mujhe kapde pehene ka time toh de!!!!
Nandini ( curious ) : kyon? ???....tu raat ko bina kapdo ke kya karta hai? ????
Manik ( sarcastically ) : aapni biwi ke saath make out! !!!
Nandini ( shocked ) : hawww. ...tune biwi baana li. ..aur mujhe nehin baataya? ???
Manik ( irritatedly ) : abey tu chup ho jaa. ...main aa raha hu! !!!
Nandini ( casually ) : haan toh jaldi aa naa. ...time waste kyon kar raha hai? ????
Rolling his eyes, Manik ended the call. While, Nandini just giggled.
Within a blink of an eye, Manik was standing on Nandini's balcony with his guitar.

Manik ( pissed ) : abey chup chap darwaza khol. ...warna tere dant tod dunga! !!
Nandini ( scared ) : dhamki kyon de raha hai? ???....kholti hu naa !!!!
Opening the glass door, Nandini let Manik in.
Dumping his guitar on the sofa, Manik adjusted himself on Nandini's bed.
Nandini ( pissed ) : kya kar raha hai? ???....thoda sa toh jagah rakh mere liye! !!!
Without any prior warning, Manik pulled Nandini's wrist, making her land on his hard chest.
Manik ( concerned ) : ab sidhe sidhe baata ki tu subha ko mujhse gussa kyon thi? ????
Playing with Maniks shirt's button, Nandini replied " woh. ...tu kyon uss Soha Poha ke haathon se kheer kha raha tha? ??? "
Manik playfully commented " ohhhh. ....now I get it! !!!.... tu issliye gussa ho gayi. ..kyonki Soha ne mujhe Poha ki jagah kheer khilaya! !!!! "
That was it, Nandini started hitting Manik blue and black. While, Manik heartily laughed at Nandini's childishness.
