They were drinking in a coffee shop, both working on their papers. He had to snap in front of her face for her to stay on focus.
"Sorry," she said. "Maybe if I collect the times I stared into space, I would be able to make a whole year."
"Same," he added.
"I wonder what both of us were thinking when we do that at the same time at different places."
"Why the thought?"
"Just crossed my mind."
"I don't know," he said. "Maybe during the times when both of us were staring into space, we were actually staring at each other in another universe."
