"Do I look good?" Youngjae came out of his bedroom so Mark, who was sitting in the living room, could take a look at his outfit. Grey pants with a light green turtleneck that didn't do anything for his well built body but Youngjae was too nervous to worry about it.
Not a single second later loud laughter bubbled out of Mark who immediately apologized for being so mean but when Youngjae puffed his cheek and crossed his arms he began to giggle uncontrollably again.
"You look like an old grandpa, this is hilarious! Can I make a picture for Jackson?"
"Fuck you, Mark"
At that Mark sobered up in an instant. It wasn't often Youngjae cursed or even thought about saying 'fuck you' to someone and when he did it was never a good sign. With a sigh Mark stood up and grabbed Youngjae by his hand, pulling him back into the bedroom so they could find an outfit together.
"I'll find you something," Mark said and gently pushed Youngjae on his bed who sat down and crossed his legs. He then proceeded to go over the mass of clothes in Youngjae's closet and didn't care that half of it landed on the floor, they could clean up later.
"Would you rather look cuddly or do you want Jaebum to think 'fuck me' when he sees you?" Mark asked seriously and Youngjae's eyes widened.
"I don't know," Youngjae groaned, "What says 'I'm sorry I fucked up, please love me anyway' the best?"
Mark just hummed and rummaged through everything again. Eventually he threw a pair of black skinny pants at Youngjae who spluttered as they landed directly in his face.
"Aren't they too tight?"
His friend shushed him and handed him a grey oversized pullover.
"This should work. It's not too sexy but also not too soft and if you want Jaebum to still think 'fuck me' then you can always undress," He added with a wink. Youngjae blushed and opened his mouth to say something but didn't know what. Why was he even friends with Mark? He actually questioned that often.
"Now change, I'll wait outside"
The younger quickly threw the outfit on and looked at himself in the mirror. He hoped Jaebum would like it, he really did. He stepped out once again and Mark grinned mischievously at him, Youngjae didn't like that look. With quick steps the older approached him and put a black choker around his neck.
"I found that in my bag, I bought it once but forgot it in there because I never wear it"
Youngjae tried to wriggle himself out of Mark's grasp but to no avail. When the other finally finished and stepped away the younger immediately tried to take it off again only to have his hand smacked away.
"You look amazing, keep it on"
Youngjae wanted to argue since he felt slightly uncomfortable wearing it but one look at the time was all it took to make him forget about the choker.
"We need to go!" He exclaimed and dragged Mark behind him, barely giving him enough time to slip into his shoes.
Before he left the apartment Youngjae took a large bag in his hand and afterwards locked the door before the two walked to Mark's car.
"Did he reply to your latest message yet?" Mark asked as he turned on the motor.
"No," Was all Youngjae said, the thought that Jaebum might have blocked him nearly brought tears to his eyes. He didn't think it would ever get that far.
"Are you sure you've found the right address though?" Youngjae wondered skeptically after a few minutes that were filled with silence.
"I'm very positive, there aren't that many Im Jaebums around here"
Mark had spend the whole afternoon googling and asking around for the other's address and after a long time they finally got one.
It slightly soothed Youngjae's nerves. Slightly. He was still a fidgeting mess and had to chuckle at the thought of what he was about to do. He prayed Jaebum wouldn't get mad at him any more than he already was.
"You are completely crazy but as your best friend I fully support you," Mark told him when he pulled up at a parking lot not far from what they supposed was Jaebum's house.
"Yes I know and thank you, Mark," He gave him a small smile while he climbed out of the car and his friend returned it with a bright grin.
"If something goes wrong and you need to be picked up I'll immediately drive here and punch Jaebum. Then we will go home, sounds like a plan?"
"Sounds like a plan"
Although he hoped desperately that Mark wouldn't have to pick him up since that would mean Jaebum was still angry.
"Go get him tiger!"
With a nervous giggle Youngjae took his bag and walked towards Jaebum's house. The thought that it could be the wrong address was very prominent in his head but he forced himself to ignore it.
When he stood in front of the small but nice looking house he saw lights flicker through one of the windows. Before he would chicken out he quickly pulled the first object out of his bag and threw it at the window. He was pretty proud at his aim as it actually hit the window. The lights stopped flickering and Youngjae threw the next object.
Meanwhile Jaebum was utterly confused. With a sigh he stood up from the sofa he had been sitting on and went to the window to open it. He didn't have the time to actually look out when it was open till the next object came flying and hit him directly in the face. In a state of surprise he grabbed the object and couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the teddy bear. His eyes wandered to a figure that was standing outside and gulped when he saw Youngjae standing there with a large paper in his hands.
'I'm sorry that I'm such an idiot'
The younger smiled sheepishly and changed the paper, throwing the old onto the ground.
'Can we talk? I have a lot to explain'
Youngjae held up a finger, mentioning that Jaebum should wait for a short time and pulled out a pen from his bag before he scribbled something on a new paper.
'Also I'm sorry the teddy hit you'
A soft chuckle tumbled off Jaebum's lips and Youngjae grinned happily as he saw it.
Jaebum shook his head fondly, no matter how hard he tried to be angry at Youngjae he couldn't. Not when the younger threw teddies at him.
"I'll come down!" He yelled and Youngjae held up both thumbs.
Jaebum didn't care that his clothes were wrinkled, he didn't care that his hair was a mess....
...he didn't care that his eyes were still red and puffy from crying before.
He sprinted to the door and came to a short halt in front of it, breathing heavily although he wasn't sure if it was because of his nerves or the short run. He tended more towards the first option. The older anything but ripped the door open only to see Youngjae standing in front of him with a teddy covering his face.
"Please don't yell at me," He whispered. Now that he could actually talk to Jaebum he got scared the other might get mad at him.
"Why would I yell at you?" Jaebum frowned.
"Because I'm a total idiot, I upset you and threw a teddy at you"
"These are all very good reasons to yell at you now that I'm thinking about it"
He didn't notice how the younger's grip tightened on the teddy in fear.
"But I won't, so stop hiding"
Reluctantly Youngjae lowered the teddy and revealed his face which was graced with a small smile. That smile quickly vanished as he saw the state Jaebum was in.
"Have you been crying?"
