:DD I dont really like how this one turned out...but I hope you guys enjoy it none the less. Oh and please tell me if I'm messing up on Yuj, Maqui, or Noel's personalities. I dont know them very well yet :/

You woke up the next morning bright and early. Bright and early being at 11 AM. Yuffie and Namine had come home about 30 minutes after you realized you didn't have your key. They let you in, while teasing you, then the three of you watched TV until 1 AM. It had been a good day.
You swung your feet out of bed, and noticed Namine was still sleeping. You grabbed a change of clothes then quietly left the room. Yuffie's door was closed and the entire apartment was quiet so you assumed she was sleeping as well. It was nearly noon after you had gotten ready and ate a quick breakfast. You decided you wanted to explore the island so you left Namine and Yuffie a note then left the apartment. Your phone was in your back pocket along with your credit card and your room key. You had checked to make sure you had it three times before leaving.
It was another gorgeous morning just like yesterday. You walked down the stairs and onto the street. Unfortunately, you had no idea where anything new was and you didn't feel like getting lost. You pulled out your phone with the plan of calling Ven to take you somewhere when something caught your eye. On your phone was a small box simply titled 'Map'. You wondered why you hadn't noticed it before. You pressed the box and a map of the entire island popped up. There was even a little red dot indicating where you were.
According to the map, the school was located towards the middle back of the island. It sat in front of a large marked off area. On the map the coast behind the school was off limits. There was a football field, baseball field, soccer field, and pro-bending arena on the right side of the school. You already knew where the mall, hospital, Moonlight Bay Plaza, and skate park were. So you decided to travel behind your apartment building and check out some of the cafes and stores they have on the Seashell Boardwalk.
It took a few minutes to get there because after you went around your apartment building you had to follow a road all the way down to the coast. You couldn't see the beach right away because sitting in your view were all the beach side apartments. Instantly, you understood why these apartments cost more to rent. The buildings were gorgeous and judging by where they sat you were sure their view was equally as beautiful.
You walked between two different apartment buildings and onto the sandy beach. You smiled when you saw the sign for Seashell Boardwalk. To the right was the normal beach crowded with people playing in the water and relaxing, but to the left was a strip mall of sorts. A large wooden walkway was built into the white sand and stores of different genres sat on the walkway. You walked forward onto the pale gray wooden walkway. Down halfway you could see that a large dock jutted out into the water and on top of it sat carnival rides and other shops.
You were in the middle of pushing your way through the crowd past a small cafe when someone yelled out your name.
"[Name]!"
You paused and glanced to your left. The cafe building was small but it had many chairs seated outside of the building in the sun. The sign on top of the building said 'JiJi's Cafe' in pretty purple cursive writing. At one of the outer tables sat Erin, Rae, and Kairi. Erin was waving at you and calling you over. You headed towers their table.
"Oh my gosh! We haven't seen you since we got off the ship! Sit down!" Erin pulled out a chair for you. You nervously took the seat. Kairi was smiling at you, and surprisingly so was Rae. You knew how good of an actress she could be though.
Kairi had her bright red hair pinned back out of her face and she wore a light pink sundress. Erin's pretty blonde hair was braided up into a bun. She wore a white vest type shirt with a cute pair of Jean shorts. Rae had her hair tied back in a fish braid and wore a light brown sundress that complimented her skin tone. You immediately began to feel inferior.
"Hi my name is Kairi." Kairi offered you her hand to shake. You politely did so, "I'm [Name]."
"Oh I know. You've become pretty popular around here all ready." Kairi giggled.
"What?"
"Yeah we saw you hanging out at the beach with all those majorly cute guys!" Erin gushed.
"You seriously need to introduce us." Rae winked at you and the table all laughed. Except you of course. Honestly you had begun to plan your escape route. It wasn't that they were being mean. It was all just too weird. Since when did Rae like you?
"So which one do you think is cutest?" Kairi leaned forward. She kept her smile, but you noticed a hardening of her blue eyes.
"Umm-"
"Well me of course." Will walked up to the table and sat beside you. He handed Rae, Kairi, and Erin their drinks. He was wearing a light blue polo collar shirt, khaki shorts, and a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses. At the sight of him you thought of Ven with his orange glasses.
"Oh hi Will." You said with a forced smile.
"We all know you're cute Will, but I want to know who [Name] likes among all my friends." Kairi said sweetly then turned back to you, "So who?"
"Well I uh...it's hard to choose."
"No kidding!" Erin said in her usual clueless manner, "I personally think that the Ventus guy is super hot, and the Roxas guy has such a nice voice! If I could just like combine the two I'd have the perfect guy on my hands."
Will, you, Rae, and Kairi all stared at Erin skeptically. You knew she was a bit of an airhead, but this was kind of ridiculous.
"You're retarded aren't you?" Will asked her. Erin frowned and scoffed.
"Excuse me?!"
"Ven looks just like Roxas so technically they are combined. Sorta." You tried to explain to her. She paused and thought before laughing.
"Oh yeah."
"So if you don't like any of them you should date Will." Kairi smiled.
"Yeah date me." Will agreed and winked at you.
"I never said that-"
"What he isn't good enough for you [Name]?" Rae asked with a sneer.
"No I just don't-"
"You're kind of being stuck up right now." Rae shot at you again. All friendliness had disappeared.
"What?! I just-"
"Hey [Name], we need you to come with us right now." You turned around to see Riku standing behind you with a hand on the back of your seat.
"Huh?"
"It's important. Do you mind?"
You stood up quickly and the table shook, "No problem. Bye guys."
Riku walked away and you followed right behind him. You glanced back to see that Kairi was the only one still looking at you. Her eyes had narrowed down to a glare. Your phone beeped and when you checked it you realized you had gained Rae, Erin, and Kairi's number.
"So what's the emergency?" You asked walking beside him.
"Nothing. You just looked like you needed saving." Riku smirked. Without hesitation you tackled him into a hug. He seemed startled at the sudden sign of affection. Before he could even consider hugging you back you pulled away.
"Thank you so much Riku! You saved my life!" You said, "I thought they were going to eat me!"
"Not on our watch!" Sora stepped up to walk on the other side of you. Now you were walking between them.
"Sora!" You greeted happily.
"What? No hug for me?"
You laughed and gave him a quick hug, "Where were you?"
"Oh if I get to close to Kairi she tries to get me to take he out on a date. I wanted to avoid that." He grinned cheekily. "What are you doing out here?"
"Just exploring. I'm getting a bit bored though." You shrugged.
"Well not anymore! Come on! Riku and I will take you on the boardwalk!" Sora grabbed your wrist and pulled you forward. Riku chuckled and followed to catch up.
They led you down the walkway towards the entrance of the boardwalk. The first thing to catch your eye was the large fountain sitting in a plaza type area outside of the entrance for the boardwalk. The fountain was decorated with mirrors and seashells. It wasn't on.
"Whoever made this island sure loves fountains." You commented mostly to yourself.
"Yeah! They're everywhere." Sora nodded.
"There's one here, the mall, Moonlight Bay Plaza, the hospital, the skatepark, the pro-bending arena, and at the school." Riku said.
"There's one at the hospital? I didn't see it while I was there."
"It's around back." Sora explained. He went up to a ticket booth and pulled out his credit card, "Two tickets please!"
The Jane bot took the card, scanned it, then handed it back along with two orange tickets. You stepped forward to pay when Sora stopped you and handed you one of the tickets.
"This one is for you silly."
"I thought you bought one for you and Riku." You replied.
"No way! Riku can buy his own!" Sora laughed.
Riku rolled his eyes and stepped up to pay, "Thanks best friend."
"Whaat?" Sora asked with an innocent look plastered on his face, "You know Leon would kill me if I bought three tickets!"
"Thanks Sora." You smiled and pocketed the ticket. He returned the smile with a nod.
"No problem!"
"Alright let's head in." Riku smiled. The three of you walked onto the boardwalk into the mass of people. Colorful booths were set up with carnival games around the small rides. The biggest ride there was a ferris wheel in the middle of the boardwalk, from what you could see at least.
"Let's ride the White and Black Coaster!" Sora yelled. You turned towards him in confusion.
"We'll do that last Sora." Riku said, "It's a roller coaster at the end of the boardwalk."
"Then let's do the rope swings!" Sora yelled.
"Does it look like she's wearing a bathing suit?" Riku sighed. You noticed Riku and Sora were wearing their swim trunks along with their normal shirts. Sora groaned.
"Is there somewhere I can buy one real quick?" You asked.
"It's ok. You don't have to buy a new bathing suit." Riku shook his head.
"Nah it's fine." You smiled, "I wanted to buy a new swimsuit anyways. Besides it's not like I had to buy a ticket."
Sora grinned, "I'll show you were it's at! We'll meet you at the rope swings Riku!"
Riku shook his head, "Alright. I'll be there."
Sora dragged you towards a gift shop. Inside, along with all the knick knacks, were a rack of bathing suits. You grabbed the cutest two piece and ran to try it on. It fit perfectly but you didn't want to just wear a bathing suit by itself so you bought a thin loose tank top to wear. In total it cost 64 Lamnas.
You walked out wearing the bathing suit and the thin swimsuit. In your hands you held your clothes, credit card, room key, and phone. Sora stood up from the seat he was waiting in.
"You look great!" He grinned, "Let's go!"
He led you a little further down the boardwalk then turned left and headed straight for the edge. There was a large area cleared from the boardwalk. Coming out of the water was two large poles with a board across the top. On the top three rope swings were attached so you could swing off into the ocean below. On the side was a lifeguard booth and when you glanced down you noticed there was an anchored board in the water where another lifeguard sat.
"[Name], Sora!" Riku called from the lifeguard stand on the side. You walked over with Sora and realized Demyx was the lifeguard. He was wearing red board shorts and a red whistle around his neck. He held one of the large red floats under his arm.
"Heya guys." He grinned and waved.
"I didn't know you worked here. Then again I didn't know this place existed until like 30 minutes ago." You shrugged.
Demyx laughed, "Are you guys gonna go off the rope swing?"
"Yeah! Can we?" Sora said.
"Sure, we havent been busy all morning. Everyone is riding the White and Black Coaster." Demyx shrugged.
"Is there somewhere I can set my stuff?" You asked.
"You can leave it with my stuff." Demyx motioned behind the lifeguard seat where a dark blue bookbag sat. "Just put it in my bag."
"Thanks Demy." Sora smiled. You folded your clothes and left all your belongings in the middle of the folded clothes. You set it all neatly in his bag. Sora and Riku stripped out of their shirts. Riku folded his and set it in the bag while Sora balled his up and tossed it by the side of the bag. He ran over to an open rope swing. You grabbed the middle swing and Riku grabbed the one on your left. The rope swings were on an elastic band at the top so after you swung off it, it would swing back ready for the next person to grab.
"You guys are clear. Go ahead." Demyx nodded.
"On three?" You asked with an excited smile.
"On three." Riku confirmed.
"1!" Sora yelled. You glanced down at the clear water below. It was about a 15 foot drop.
"2!" Riku yelled and pulled back so he'd be ready to swing.
"3!" You smirked and jumped onto the rope so you began to swing. All three swings went out over the water. You let go and began to fall feet first into the water. Riku did a backflip and began to fall feet first and Sora tried to do a backflip as well. Right before you hit the water you saw Sora bellyflop into the water face down. You shot into the ice cold water.
A few moments later you swam to the surface to hear laughter. Sitting on the anchored board in the water wearing red swim trunks, a red whistle, and holding the red lifeguard float was Vanitas. He had his feet in the water and he was laughing at poor red faced Sora. You couldn't hold back your laughter when you saw Sora jump onto the anchored board. His entire chest, stomach, and face was red from hitting the water. Riku surfaced and began to laugh as well.
"Shut up!" Sora yelled and crossed his arms.
"You're such a moron Sora." Vanitas grinned.
The rest of the day was a lot like that. You stayed on the dock and swung off the rope swings with Riku and Sora. It was a lot of fun and before you even realized it the sun had began to go down.
"Nope sorry guys we're gonna close down the rope swings." Demyx said after you, Riku, and Sora had walked up the stairway under the boardwalk to go again.
"Awww but Demyx!" Sora whined. Riku pushed Sora with a disapproving look. You laughed and shook your head.
"No problem, thanks for holding our stuff Demy." You walked over to pull your stuff out. "I'm gonna go change. I'll be right back."
There was a changing booth across from the rope swings that you jumped into. They had a stack of clean towels ready for use. You grabbed one and began to dry your hair and body. After slipping back into your clothes you checked your phone. You had three new text messages.

You shook your head at Yuffie's text with a smile. You quickly wrote Namine a text saying you'd meet her there and sent Yuffie a quick reply answering her first question. You exited the changing booth with your dripping swimsuit in one hand.
Vanitas had climbed to the top and was now standing by Demyx, Riku, and Sora. You jogged over and noticed Sora was on the phone.
"Hey guys Namine said everyone was gonna eat dinner at-"
"At Coconut Charlie's. Yeah we know genius." Vanitas smirked, "Sora's on the phone with his brother."
"Got it Leon! I'll be there!" Sora hung up his phone and grinned, "Hey [Name] we're gonna eat at-"
"She knows." Everyone said at the same time you replied, "I know."
Sora held his hands up in mock surrender, "Ok ok sheesh. Well let's get going then."
Vanitas and Demyx had ditched their whistles and lifeguard floats and put on shirts. As you followed them out of the park you tied your wet hair up into a messy bun.
"Aw man! [Name] never got to go on the White and Black Coaster!" Sora said as everyone set foot onto solid ground again. Rather than turning left and heading back to where you first stepped onto the beach you turned right and walked further down the shore side.
"She can go next time." Demyx shrugged.
"What's the big deal about it anyways?"
"The coasters dive into a underground cave. The cave is underneath the ocean." Riku said.
"Isn’t that.." You thought a moment, "Kind of impossible? I mean the entire ocean and island is sitting on top of a cave?"
"I don't think it's the entire island. Just that one portion." Riku replied.
"Besides who cares? The ride is pretty awesome." Sora cheered.
It was nearly 7 when you reached the restaurant. The outside resembled a shack, but this restaurant was huge. It was almost entirely open and half of it stretched out over the ocean.
As you stared in awe the others began to drag you in.
"There you are!" Yuffie yelled and tackled you in a hug. You laughed and returned it with one hand since you still had your bathing suit clutched in the other. Demyx took it from you, wrapped it in a towel, and then stuck it in his backpack. You smiled your thanks.
"I was worried to death!" Yuffie cried and released you, "I mean for all I knew you could've been attacked!"
"Who'd attack a face as pretty as that one?"
Zack walked up wearing jeans, sandals, a dark blue button up shirt that was unbuttoned and revealed his toned chest, and a proud smirk. You tore your gaze away from his abs, "Hi Zack."
"Hey [Name]." His smirk turned to a genuine smile.
"Shut up puppy. I was more worried she'd get jumped by a player like you!"
"Excuse me?!"
"You're excused." Yuffie replied before linking arms with you and dragging you into the restaurant. The guys followed behind you. She led everyone to a table in the far back that was sitting over the ocean. You could see the waves gently rolling back and forth through the cracks between the wooden planks. This place was really cool, but didn't seem entirely safe.
"Don't worry you'll be fine." Yuffie reassured then threw you into an open chair. You glanced around. It was a large circular table. At the table was Cloud, Leon, Ven, Roxas, Namine, Aqua, Terra, and Angeal. Zack, Sora, Riku, Demyx, and Vanitas took their seats while Yuffie grabbed the one to your right. On your left was Namine.
"Hey guys." You gave a small smile.
"[Name], did you have fun exploring?" Aqua asked after everyone greeted you and the others.
"Yeah I hung out with Riku, Sora, Demyx, and Vanitas on the rope swings today. The Seashell Boardwalk is so amazing." You gushed.
"Heck yeah it is. Did you go on the Coaster?" Terra asked.
"No I didn't get a chance too." You frowned.
The waiter walked over and greeted the table, "Can I take your drink orders?"
You turned around to see Yuj, "Your Yuj right? You work here?"
"Good evening [Name]." He nodded with a smirk, "I do."
"That's so cool." You replied.
"Maqui and Noel work here as well."
"No way!" You smiled. Yuj nodded and began to say something when Ven cut him off.
"Yeah I'll take a coke." He nodded. Yuj subtly sighed and wrote it down. Everyone listed off their drink choices and you asked for a water. You figured it'd be a good choice since you were outside all day.Yuj gave you one last smile before walking away.
"I didn't know you knew them." Angeal commented.
"Yeah we met earlier..." Your voice trailed, "So what's the big deal between them and you guys?"
"Just a little feud." Zack shrugged, "Nothing to serious. Anyways, we got some more new people coming tomorrow."
You noticed how smoothly Zack had turned the conversation towards something else. The only reason it succeeded was because you were curious about the new people.
"From where?" You asked.
Leon, who had already been on his phone, answered, "The world is named Atica. They'll be coming in around 10 AM."
"Atica? Where's that one?" You asked.
"No idea. It's not one we're too familiar with." Roxas shrugged. You smiled. It felt nice to not be the only one clueless about the worlds for once. Yuj came back with Noel. The two of them had a tray of drinks each.
"Hi Noel." You greeted.
"Hey [Name]. Here's a water." Noel handed you the cup with a smile. You took it and they finished handing out the other drinks before leaving. You glanced up to see Cloud staring at you. His face was puzzled as if in deep thought.
You lifted your hand and gave him a little wave. He seemed to snap out of it and frowned. He mouthed the word 'sorry'. You gave him a slight nod and a reassuring smile.
You settled into a different conversation with the group at the table. A smile worn on your face proudly. Things were going great.
ZOOM RESULT::
MAQUI, YUJ, and NOEL
"Hey I need help carrying drinks to [Name]'s table." Yuj yelled out after he set down the last drink on a tray.
"[Name]'s here?" Maqui asked.
"Yeah with our favorite crowd of people." Yuj rolled his eyes. Maqui walked up to Yuj ready to volunteer his services when Noel pushed past him smoothly.
"I'll do it." Noel smiled.
"Great grab that tray and-" Yuj began when Maqui cut him off.
"Hey! I was gonna help!"
"To bad. You're slow." Noel replied.
"You're rude!" Maqui returned.
"Shut up! I need to get these drinks out there. Play rock, paper, scissors." Yuj sighed. Noel and Maqui faced each other and held out their fists.
"Rock, Paper, Scissors!"
Noel chose rock and Maqui chose scissors. A smirk played across Noel's features as Maqui smiled sheepishly. "Heh uhh best two out of three?"
Needless to say Maqui watched sadly as Noel and Yuj left with the table's drinks.
