I wake up and look around. I feel something pinch my arm and see a syringe before being pulled back under.This happens one other time. I wake up again and look around. I am back in the basement, alone.
My head is fuzzy and I shake my head, memories flooding back. I look around for Haden. My sight becomes blurry. I blink my tears away. I crawl over to the door, and try pulling on it. Locked.
I pound on the door, yelling “Haden! Hello? Anyone?” I don’t know what to think. The last thing I remember is being this close to freedom, then that chick coming after me. Then it all went dark.
I hit the door a few more times, before hearing someone coming down the stairs. I crawl away as fast as I can, when my back hits the wall.
The door slowly creaked open...
