So, a lotta artists are having struggles but
Dont stop drawing please
This is legit my art around 11-12 years old
I look other artists, and sometimes got sad over how weak my artwork is... so my advice is
Keep struggling, keep studying, keep practicing.
It took me years to get to this level
But, i learned even more, challenging myself with realism and drawing anime-like art has never ever been so easy!
Tho, now i mostly do semi-realism :D
Again, i struggled so hard, i drew and drew and drew. Took me time. I adjust a lot with some artblocks and had to fight through it
But hey :)) be confident too!
Whenever an artwork makes you a bit sad or sad, use it as a reference! :000 try to copy it by hand and NO TRACING!!! Absolutely no!!
Tracing is bad. Tracing is only for animation which you have to replicate frames! But now we have duplicate effect, we have no need for tracing :)) unless it is a traditional animation.
I usually look at tutorials and develop sketching patterns of my own! Like this
Then i go to all my progress and examine which should i improve so my next progress will be better
Like:
Play with colors! :0 i'm semi color blind to green and blue shades so I can't differentiate blue and green too much :')) but it never stopped me from doing digital artwork!
If you see, i barely use green :') ...
And mostly grey-ish sides because i feel more chill with grey color.
You can also use filters and take the colors :')))
Or just use overlay with one color:
In this, i used sepia in a different layer (overlay) and decrease opacity to 42%
Also :D don't be afraid to play with lighting and shading!!!
