— "Everyone has been acting like this all day! They don't want to acknowledge what today is and what today means to me—to us!"

Halloween of 1984 has finally arrived, and Dustin struggles to make this holiday special for him like he wants. Max strikes again, seemingly ruining the fun and causing Dustin to realize he couldn't be happy given what day it was. Hopper and El both receive their own special Halloween surprise.
