"I think of you all alone~" He sang. His blue hair waving as he looked at you. You glanced back at him and smiled shyly.
"Y/N? Are you alright?" He asked concerned. "Yeah...you simply reminded me of how my mother used to sing to me..." You sighed. "Oh?" He asked.
"Yeah it was the last thing she said- sang- to me. It was apparently passed down from her mom to her." You recalled. You looked down at a rabbit near you. It hopped onto your lap and you pet it gently.
"I'm sorry to hear that, Y/N..." He said and watched you. He felt bad now. Tears began to fall down your face. "C-can I sing it?" You asked.
"What?" He responded, sounding surprised. "May I sing you the song? Maybe that'll get her off my mind. If you don't want me to, thats okay! I just thought-"
"Thats a lovely idea. Please sing, I believe I've never heard your voice before." He said in a voice of reassurance.
You cleared your throat before starting.

You stopped singing and started sobbing. Shigure was holding you and whispering reassuring words in your ear.
"I'm sorry, I thought singing would help but it just made things worse." You apologized. "Y/N why are you apologizing? Theres nothing to be sorry about. You lost your mother, its sad, I can relate to it. But, you have her voice, she lives in you. Whatever you do, say, feel, I know she does too." He smiled at you.
You felt yourself blush. "Thanks Shigure, your the best...that's why..."
"Thats why what?"
"Thats why I love you!" You confessed to him still looking down. You were anxious, what if he didn't love you like that? What if this ruined your friendship?
"Y/N...I love you too." He chuckled. "Really!?" You exclaimed. "Yes...I love you, my precious Songbird."
