15 hours and 56 minutes after
Graciela: Someone told me that you guys found something.
Hitchins: We did, and I'd like to thank you for your patience.
Graciela: Did you figure out who did it?
Hitchins: Ms. Sinclair, I thought you'd said you didn't play sports.
Graciela: I don't.
Hitchins: And you don't have a strong swing?
Graciela: I don't know what you're getting at. I'm not athletic.
Hitchins: Where did Amelia store her tennis gear?
Graciela: In her room. Where else?
Hitchins: Did Amelia often have friends in her room?
Graciela: Amelia didn't have friends.
Hitchins: She didn't hang out with anyone?
Graciela: Besides me? Theo, if he and I were already together. Jax would sometimes make an appearance. But she was mostly a loner.
Hitchins: This would be Jaxson Bennett?
Graciela: Yeah. His parents work for my dad. He lives down the street.
Hitchins: How did they get along with your sister?
Graciela: I've already told you about Theo.
Hitchins: Tell me about Jaxson.
Graciela: They had a weird relationship, I guess.
Hitchins: Weird how?
Graciela: I don't know. They had lots of classes together and they were lab partners. But Amelia didn't particularly like him. She thought he was annoying.
Hitchins: What did Jaxson think of your sister?
Graciela: I have no idea. He's still alive, how about you ask him?
Hitchins: I'd like to hear your opinion.
Graciela: I don't think he liked her much either. He used to have a crush on her when we were little.
Hitchins: And Amelia rejected him?
Graciela: Naturally. They weren't very close after that, and I don't think he ever really got over it.
Hitchins: And do you believe that Mr. Bennett is capable of murder?
Graciela: After Amelia turned him down, he hung around me more than her. Jax was always nice to me, so I really couldn't say.
