We are all quite peacefully eating our food when Brendon pipes up, "So, school." Which makes me almost choke on my rice.
I hate school.
I have too many bad memories of school.
"I can't. I get really bad anxienty." I say, trying to sound more genuine, it's true..... just not 100% true.
"I know how you feel, Alana. But school is important. It doesn't seem like it is, but it seriously is." Brendon says, squeezing my right hand lightly.
"Okay... fine. When do I start?" I ask.
"Tomorrow...." He replies.
