Callie
I covered my mouth as soon I said it and they both turned around. Stef looked white as a ghost as tears streamed down her face then Lena looked shocked. I took a few breaths in and let them out. "Sorry." I whispered as I pointed to the sink. I just needed a glass of water." I was ready to be screamed at but nothing happened. We stood in an awkward silence until Brandon came down.
"What is happening?" Brandon said as he got two glasses out then he noticed his Mums'. "Mum?" He touched Stef's shoulder and Stef looked up at him then pulled him into a hug. God. This was a weird family.
"I am just going, I am going." I stated uncomfortably as I rushed past Lena who tried to grab my hand.
"Callie, wait." Lena whispered as I slammed the door and sat in the bungalow in the backyard.
Brandon
I pulled apart when Mum's breathing soften then looked at her eyes. Okay, what is wrong? Is it something to do with Callie?"
"Kind-"
"Lena!" Mum screamed as she put her mouth over Mama's mouth.
"Okay, there is something going on and I want to know right now." I stated as everybody else came running in. I looked over at Jesus, Mariana and Jude who was the only one who looked pissed and the twins looked worried. Mum sighed as she put her hand down and Mama looked at them then back at them.
"They need to know, Stef." Mama whispered. "One has already figured it out, why not we just tell everybody else before they all find out?"
"Okay." Mum whispered as she wiped her eyes.

We were all around the table. Callie, Jude, Mariana, Jesus, Lena, Stef and me. "I haven't been completely honest." Mum started softly as she looked at each and every one of us as her eyes filled with tears. "I really don't know how to say this and I really don't know how to make it easier for these people to handle this."
"Just say it." I whispered as I gripped the table tight.
"You and Mama aren't getting a divorce, are you?" Mariana asked in shock and Mama took Mariana's hand then rubbed it.
"No, we are not." Mama whispered then nodded to Mum.
"Brandon, you weren't an only child." Mum whispered as she looked at me. "You had a twin, or have a twin." She quickly corrected herself as she looked at Callie as she swallowed nervously.
"Wait, what?" I questioned as Mum tried to take my hand but I pulled my hand away.
"Dad and I couldn't afford two babies and we both didn't want to do it but it was the only choice."
"Who is she?" I whispered. Mum looked over at Callie who still was staring down at the table minding her own business. " Who is my twin? Where is she now?"
"Callie..." Mum whispered which made Callie looked up.
"Callie?" I questioned.
"Callie is your twin sister." Mama whispered when Mum started to sob. Callie opened her mouth then closed it and I stood up.
"I can't believe you two." I ran upstairs and slammed my door then played on the piano with my head phones in.
Callie
I felt paralyzed by this but it explains why their faces showed guilt. I looked up at my birth mother who was sobbing into her hand then looked at my step mother who looked at me. "Callie?" She whispered but I stayed still. Stef stopped sobbing and looked at me.
"Callie, baby." I shook my head and stood up. "Wait, let me explain. Please?" I turned around and ran to the bathroom, and closed the door. I slid down and sat there emotionless. This cannot be true, it just can't.
Stef
I felt broken and I felt so hopeless as I watched my babies run out of the room in shock. Mariana and Jesus sat there still trying to take in the new information. Jude was still angry and upset. "Why did you adopt us if you are one of those people who gave up on their child?" Jesus questioned angrily.
"Jesus!" Lena scolded and he shook his head.
"Just answer me, goddammit it." Jesus screamed and I flinched from his strong tone of voice.
"I had money to do so but I couldn't get Callie back at the time. She had a family and I don't know what happened." I responded back and stood up. I walked to the bathroom and knocked gently. "Baby, I messed up. I am sorry." I slid down as tears rolled down my eyes. "I am so sorry."
