Today, I am officially moving out and into my own house. I found a 5 bedroom house, which meant two guest rooms, Blaine's nursery, my room and the extra room as a playroom for Blaine. I know I don't need that big size of a house but I thought it would be suitable incase Finn, Carole or dad needed to sleep over at anytime or just needed a break from one another.
"Right, mister, let's go get you dressed so we can get sorted out" I say to Blaine as I pick him up and take him upstairs into his room. I lie him on his changing table and change his nappy before putting him in a white sleeveless bodysuit, a red pair of joggers, a plain white long sleeve shirt and some red and green socks.
"Ok, Santana and Brittany are coming over in a little while and daddy needs to get on with packing, do you think you can play nicely?" I try to explain to him.
"Papa?" He just asks.
"I'll see if papa can come over later" I tell him.
"Tay" I take Blaine to my room and lock the gate before pulling out boxes and start to sort things out.
"Daddy, wan' pway" Blaine soon whines.
"Here, I'll leave your toys out" I tell him as I pull out his box of toys from my wardrobe. I soon manage to pack a few boxes when the doorbell rings.
"Stay there baby" I tell Blaine as I close to gate again once I was out in the hall.
"No, daddy" he gets up from his toys and runs over to the gate.
"It's alright, I'm just down there, I won't be long"
"Daddy" he sobs as I head down the stairs. I open the door and greet Santana and Brittany.
"Why's Blaine crying?" Santana asks as we make our way back up.
"It's because I left him for a few minutes" I sigh as I picked him up once we got back in the room.
"Ah, ok"
"Brittany, I like your outfit" I say to her. She wore some pink joggers with a long sleeve shirt that had 'love u mummy' written in the middle of a love heart and some pink and turquoise Minnie Mouse socks.
"Yeah, I decided to just put her into some joggers and a shirt for now" she explains.
"Yeah, I've done that with Blaine"
"Right, are you two going to play nicely?" We ask.
"Uh huh"
"Ok, we don't want any trouble and if you're really good, we might go get some ice cream and a toy later, ok?"
"Are you ok with that, San?"
"Sure, but you only deserve it if you're being good" she explains.
"Tay" Santana and I soon leave the kids to play while we started to pack more stuff, I made sure to leave somethings here though incase we come back for a weekend or something.
"Mummy, wee wee" Brittany soon announces.
"Ok, come on then" she says as she takes Brittany to the toilet. I decided to take a bit of a break while they went to the toilet so I went up to Blaine.
"Hey baby" I coo as I sit down next to him and kiss his cheek.
"Eww, daddy" he jokes as he wipes it off.
"Hey" I say as I attack him with loads of kisses.
"No, daddy, 'top" he laughs as he tried to push me away.
"No, never" I say as I keep on attacking him.
"Shall we do lunch?" I ask Blaine.
"Eah"
"Ok, come on then" I say as I pick him up.
"I'm gonna go make lunch, you coming?" I ask Santana once she finished with Brittany.
"Yeah, come on, Britt, we're gonna go get lunch" we head downstairs and I make lunch for everyone. After lunch, we let the kids play for a bit down here while I cleaned up and talked with Santana at the same time.
"What are you doing about Blaine's stuff?" She asks.
"Well, obviously, I take the more important things and then leave what I don't really need, here so if we do come back, he'll still have stuff here" I explain to her.
"Yeah, it's probably easier" she says.
"Hi daddy" Blaine runs through all sweaty.
"What on earth have you two been doing?" I chuckle as Brittany had a really red face but not as hot and bothered like Blaine.
"We 'estle" she says. I lift Blaine up onto the counter and start to take his shirt off.
"You sweaty boy" I chuckle.
"Wou 'weaty 'oy" he giggles.
"Hey, what did we say about copying others?" I tell him but before he could say anything, Santana cut in.
"Look at you sexy boy with your little belly out" Santana chuckles as she jokes to him although he had an under vest on him but that still didn't matter.
"Eah, 'elly" he giggles as he looks at it.
"Good job, that is your belly" I praise him. I soon let him down but kissing his forehead just before he touched the floor.
"Right, you two, let's go back up"
"Mummy, 'ired" Brittany soon whines. We look at each other before deciding maybe to put them down for a nap first.
"Shall we go for a little walk about instead, I need some fresh air anyway" I say to Santana.
"Sure" we soon get the kids sorted and settled into their pushchairs before heading out. We walk around for a while until only Blaine fell asleep.
"Go to sleep, sweetie" Santana coos.
"Mummy, no 'ilk" she rubs her eyes.
"Where's your bottle?"
"Nunno" she starts to cry. Santana looks everywhere in her pushchair before we follow our steps back and found it, luckily no one had taken it.
"It must've fell out, but wouldn't we have heard it?" Santana asks confused as she cleaned the top of it off.
"Maybe we were too busy talking and just didn't hear it, she might've been asleep and it rolled or something" I say to her.
"Yeah, probably" she says as she passes it back to Brittany. We soon make our way back and leave the kids in their pushchairs for now.
"Do you wanna start on the kitchen while they sleep?" Santana asks me.
"Sure" we soon pack a few bottles, sippy cups and Blaine's cutlery as well as a couple for myself until I go out and buy some. By the time we wrapped everything up in either newspaper or bubble wrap and placed them into boxes, the kids woke up.
"Hello you two" we coo to them as we get them out. I give Blaine a nappy change while Santana took Brittany to the toilet.
"Daddy just needs to do your room and then the bathroom, ok?" I tell Blaine.
"Tay daddy" Santana and Brittany soon came out of the bathroom and someone knocked on the door.
"Papa?" Blaine looks at me.
"I don't know, maybe" I say as I get up and go get it.
"Papa" Blaine cheers as he runs to Sebastian.
"Hello, you" he kisses him once he picked him up. We soon go upstairs and start packing again. It soon rolled onto dinner and we put the kids into their matching Mickey and Minnie Mouse coveralls.
We have dinner and start to load the car up. Santana offered to look after the kids instead of us all going. By the time we had done everything, it was time for the kids to go to bed. Santana put Brittany into her long sleeve Minnie Mouse pyjamas and gave her a bottle that had a pink rim.
"Say bye to uncle Kurt"
"Bye bye" she waves. We soon say goodbye to Santana and Brittany before we take Blaine up and give him a bath, I do a quick wash round before getting him out and wrapping him up in his The Very Hungry Caterpillar towel that came with a hood.
I dry him off before putting him into a fresh nappy and his long sleeve Mickey Mouse pyjamas that were similar to Brittany's. We soon tuck him into bed and kiss him goodnight, I pass him his bottle that was the same as Brittany's, but green.
Sebastian and I soon go to bed ourselves, ready for the next day.
*one week later*
It's been a week and we've got most furniture that we need, which was brilliant. Blaine had to sleep in a brown starry portable crib for a while until we got his room sorted and we could tell he started to hate it because he was in it so much and he sometimes had to come into my bed with Bas and I.
We also managed to do one bathroom, Blaine's room, his playroom and a small room which we made for Brittany. I also made sure to put a mobile on Blaine's crib.
"At least we got the most important rooms done" I tell Sebastian.
"True"
"And that Blaine has managed to settle in well, bless him" he says.
"Yeah, I worried a little when we moved in but he done well"
"Hey, shall we go get him and Brittany a joint present because they have been really good"
"Sure" Blaine was at Santana's already so Bas and I headed out. We soon come out with a surprise for both of them and head to Santana's.
"Brittany, Blaine, come here" Santana calls them once we got in. Both kids come running through and they rip open the present.
"Wow" they cheer. It was a white double seated car that they could both go in.
They soon mess around in it and again it rolled onto dinner time. We put the kids in their matching Tatty Teddy bibs before placing them in their chairs.
We soon eat dinner and then let the kids play for a bit while Bas and I helped Santana tidy up the kitchen.
"Who wants supper?" San asks after we cleared up the kitchen.
"Me" both kids cam running through again. We place them in their seats and we soon eat supper.
"Is it yummy?" She asks them both.
"Uh huh" they nod. We soon finish up and again Bas and I help Santana tidy the kitchen whilst the kids played.
"Right, let's get ready for bed" Santana calls. We soon change the kids into their matching pyjamas again. They were pink and navy blue fleece sleep suits with stars and clouds on.
We then pass the kids their matching bottles.
"Thanks for looking after Blaine" I hug Santana.
"No problem" we say goodbye to Santana and Brittany before heading back to our now newish house.
"Look, buddy, your new room, no more rubbish crib" Sebastian coos.
"Yay" Blaine cheers.
"Ok, let's get you tucked into bed mister" I lay Blaine down and pass him his dummy and bottle before tucking him. Sebastian and I kiss Blaine goodnight before leaving the room.
"I wonder how he'll do in there, because he's used to sleeping in here with us" I explain to Sebastian as we get ready for bed.
"Well, we'll soon find out when he wakes up for us" Bas chuckles.
"True" we get into bed and kiss each other night while snuggling each other under the quilt. We soon fall asleep and it wasn't long until Blaine woke up.
"Hey baby" I coo as I pick him up.
"Daddy, 'cary" Blaine cries.
"What's scary baby?" I ask him although he probably doesn't know how to explain it.
"Is it because you're in a different room?" I ask him.
"Uh huh"
"It's ok baby, it's a new house, come on, daddy will sit with you" I say as I sit on the rocking chair and rock him gently.
"Go to sleep, my baby" I kiss his forehead. He soon falls asleep and I kiss and tuck him back into bed, I make sure he's ok before going back to my own bed and cuddling with Sebastian.
