I'm currently at the kingdom's capital to have an audience with his majesty the king, King Louise de Crouzet II.
Even when we were on meeting, my mind was floating to where my wife at and about her condition.
Why do the king always hinder me every time my wife gave birth to my child and needed me by her side?
After the meeting, the king called me to ask the reason why I am not in my self.
I scoffed at him and amswering him with obvious irritated tone, saying that today was my wife's second child birth.
When he heard my answer, he just laughed at me.

Louise was actually my best friend together with Robert Delcroix, the prime minister.
When the three of us together, there were no rank that separate us. Just like a normal buddy, we talk and laugh together even in this age.
After he laughed and joke at me, he let me go back to where my wife is. As soon as he freed me, I used the fastest horse in the palace and travel nonstop for four days to Hoffman city, Valkhyne Province to check my wife's condition.
I love my wife, Emerald.
Even everyone is against our marriage and we are now this old, I still loved her.
Emerald came from Viscount family, much lower to my rank but I fell in love at first sight with her when she was only 14 years old and I am 18 years old.
Emerald hates me because she sees me as one of those playboy in my age, knowing that I have both looks, wealth, title, and power that everyone eager to get.
Unlike other noble ladies that I met, Emerald was different. If others will do everything to curry my favor or climb on my bed, she's the opposite. She'll do everything to ignore and hide from me.

I proved to her my worth and my love. Even if I can just arrange a marriage (whether she likes it or not) between our family since I was a Duke's son and she's a daughter of a Viscount, a lower status but I never did. I want to prove to her that I can make her fall for me without outside help, with only just my sincerity and real feelings.
My hardship was worth it.
I eventually won the beauty's hand and now was married for almost seven years now.
But Emerald was scary when she got angry. When she first gave birth to our first son, Christopher, she kick me out of the bed after I came back from war because I left her when she's pregnant and choose my responsibility as a general (I am still a knight squad general at that time) over her and our son.
When I arrived at the mansion, and saw my daughter for the first time, I was mesmerized by her beauty. She's like a fairy... a beauty that can ruin seven kingdoms. She got her mother's ash blonde hair and my mother's pinkish-purple eyes. She has the beauty that can capture any man's heart of all ages... that's how she's stunningly beautiful just like her mother.
When I first hold her, I got panicked when I first heard her cry. Not knowing what to do, I try to do many funny facial expressions to make her laugh... and she laughs. Her laughter is like a music to the ears... comforting and soothing melodic sound.
I once again, mesmerized by my own daughter.
This child is the result of our love as I can see the combination of Emerald and I in her facial appearance.
And from then, I promised to myself that I will protect this princess and give her everything she wants just to see her dazzling smile once again.
As my daughter grew up, she always surprised me.
She started to learn how to walk and speak at eight months, she loves to listen every time we read her a picture book story, and started to learn how to read and write with the help of her elder brother at a very young age. And she always prefers to confine herself inside the library as she loves to read books and books and books.
She's definitely a genius!
When she was four, she asked me to gift her a greenhouse so she can cultivates different kinds of herbs and plants and a connected laboratory so she can create and experiment her own medicine. Wow. I'm speechless.
When she was five, she really created a new type of medicine and as a reward; the king presented her a sub-artifact, the Twilight Bow.
I don't know why she asked an archery bow for a reward but when she tried to shoot, bulls-eye! My daughter Celine was a sharp shooter, and in just short months of practice, her accuracy rate became higher and higher. And then again, I am speechless.
But after we found out the result of her awakening, I was sad. Not because I was disappointed on her result but because I knew my daughter got a heavy blow in this result. If you're gonna asked me, I think it is way better for my daughter to get a lower results of awakening so that she can escape from the eyes of the people who were actually eyeing her since they learned that my daughter was a genius.
She went home depressed that day and what makes my heart in rage was I learned that someone was trying to ruined my daughter's reputation. I don't know why they do this to my young, innocent daughter but can't they think that a child who got this kind of result will give them a heavy blow?! And if she found out about this dirty rumor... I can't even imagine how depress she will be *sigh*
Luckily, she met Lily the pixie. With her help, my daughter recovers and focuses on her experiments and studies. I even saw her practicing magic together with the pixie so I asked her what kind of gifts she wants, just to make her happy. She asked me for an abundant place with a pond near the mansion so she can play with other faes. At first, I don't know what to do since there was no pond near our mansion but Joseph, my steward and assistant, suggested that I can create a man-made pond near the mansion since there is no pond here... that's how Lumiere was created.
A year and half, my daughter is going to be a seven years old, she asked me if I can train her martial arts and swordmanship. I was shocked since she wished to be a magician not a knight (it was not forbidden for a woman or a lady to become a knight) but she insisted and obviously determined to become strong and powerful someday so I reluctantly agree in a condition that I was the one to train her and once I heard a complaint from her, we will stop.
I make sure that my training to her is harder than a normal child or a newbie soldier can bear since I don't really wanted to let her train martial arts (because she's my little princess) but who would have thought that she was persistent. She endure every hardship I made her do without half complain.
Looking at her determination, something was burning within me and telling me that this child will have a better future... this makes me train her more seriously.
And after years of training, her improvement makes me speechless. I don't know what kind of physique my daughter has but she can both practice magic and martial arts at the same... amazing!
My daughter, Celine la Valkhyne, was a real prodigy!
