Tris pov
"Push, push, push" the nurses and doctors say as I give birth to Tobias and I's beautiful son
I push and push and push until I hear a cry but still no cry
"Almost there tris" the doctor says
"I can't no more" I say laying my head back, out of breath and exhausted
"You're almost there tris. You got this" Tobias says pushing hair out of my face.
I give one more push with a loud scream and then I stop because I hear it. I hear the cry.
I lay my head back and catch my breath.
"Good job tris" the doctor says and I try to respond but I can't catch my breath.
My grip on Tobias hand let's go and everything goes black.

I wake up with oxygen tubes in my nose and an IV hooked into my arm.
I look over and see Tobias with his hands on his face.
"Hey" I say
"Tris" he says shooting right up
He quickly comes over to me and hugs me. When he pulls away I see a tear in his eye.
"I thought I lost you" He says
"I'm not going anywhere" I whisper with a smile.
I️ hold the side of his face and give him a nice long kiss.
"Where's our baby? I want to see him" I say
"He's so beautiful tris, he looks just like you" Tobias says
"That's where our parents are right now" he adds
"I want to see him" i say excitedly lifting my blanket to get out of bed.
"No stay in bed, they will bring him down" he says running to my side making sure I don't get out of bed.
"Hurry" I say with a laugh
Tobias gets the nurse and she sends for someone to bring him down. She examines me real quick then the baby is rolled in with Tobias and I's parents right behind.
"Tris sweetie you're up" my mom says coming to my side.
"I want to hold my baby" I say but it comes out more of a whine.
My mom picks him up and hands him to me. I hold his tiny hand and start to cry happy tears.
"He's so beautiful" I say and Tobias wipes the tears from my eyes.
"Just like his mother" Tobias says and I smile up at him
"Can I hold him now" Evelyn says
"No. I might never let him go" I say with a giggle
"You're going to have to learn how to share him" my mom says and I lay my head back with my beautiful baby boy in my arms.
"Time for baby Levi to go back to the nursery. Say goodbye" a nurse says walking into the room
"No, a few more minutes" I say
"Sorry mommy. Baby has to go back" she says and I sigh as she takes him away to the nursery.
I lay my head back and put my hands on my face.
"I miss him" I say and my mom laughs
"He is going to be right downstairs" my mom says
"I'm so emotional" I say as tears start rolling down my cheek
"We will see him soon. Don't cry" Tobias says holding my hand
"I know it's the hormones" I whisper and we all start to laugh.
