" Pairs shall be grouped together into two teams. The first team will be leaving first and will have different tasks which will be communicated to the leader of the team. Both the teams will perform their respective tasks and meet at one point. Whosoever reaches that target point first will be the winning pair."
Brigadier announces the mentorship program. He hands over the mike to Major Nair so that he can announce the teams and the leader.
" Good morning everyone. The first team shall be named warriors. It will consist the following pairs :-
1. Cadet Yaduvansh Sahni-Dr Shalini
2. Cadet Ali and Subedar Suriji
3. Cadet Naina Singh and Major Abhimanyu
The second team shall be named as tigers. It will consist following pairs:-
1. Cadet Alekh and Captain Rajveer singh shekhawat
2. Cadet Amardeep Huda-Major Nair
3. Cadet Pooja and Subedar Lolita
First team will leave first with Major Abhimanyu as their leader. And Second team will leave 4 hours after the first team with Major Nair as their leader. All the cadets are requested to meet their mentor.
Dismiss all."
Naina gets another shock. First she lost her mentor. And now they won't be in the same team. But when she looks across the assembly hall and watches satisfaction over the face of Rajveer and the way he just winked at Alekh, she knows there is something more to their plan. They are planning something but she has to know it.
As soon as Major Nair dismisses everyone, she tries to go to Rajveer before she is pulled by alekh.
Naina : What is this, alekh?
Alekh : I need to talk to you.
Naina is not at all paying attention to his words. She is still looking at the direction in which Rajveer just left.
Alekh : Are you listening??????
His words fall on a deaf ear. When his patience was tested entirely,
Alekh : Muje pata hai tum dono ke beech kya chal rela h. ( I know what is going on between you both!!!)
This comes as an other shock to her. Before she could faint, Alekh nudges her and takes her aside to talk to her in peace.
Naina : What are you talking about?
She tries to bluff.
Alekh : Don't you dare do this to me. I am not Huda. I am not falling into your trick. Besides I have seen you leaving his quarters at odd time. I already knew your and his feelings. I wanted to give both of you some time to understand and confess it. And now when you both have sorted it, you cant actually make a fool of me. Huh 😒
And he smirks. When she finally loses, she surrenders.
Naina : Ok. I thought.....
Alekh : Forget it. Don't think too much. Don't trouble your tiny mind too much.
She feels embarrassed. She never wanted to hide this truth from him. But she just wanted to give their relationship some time. Alekh would always be the first person to know this. After a pause, she finally gets some strength
Naina : Naveen's void can never be filled by anyone. But you are close to one i can call mine. I never wanted to hide such a big secret from you.
Alekh gets emotional. There is an unsaid bond between them.
Alekh : Bas re. Rulaegi kya. Muje apni image ka bhi dhyan rakhna hai. (Hold on. I have an image to take care of😉). But listen one thing, you shouldn't speak to captain alone. There is something very serious going on. You have to protect yourself. You know you are our weakness but i want you to become our strength. Samjhi behna😉
Naina understands his unsaid words. And takes a deep breath.
Naina : Ji mere pyaare bhaia. I understand. Kya karu teri batli ki tarah upar ke kholi se khaali nahi hu na 😋😉😉 ( I understand, i have good brain)
Alekh : Bas kar, rulaegi kya.
He rubs his imaginary tears off his eyes. He pats her head and motions her to go. He has some unfinished business to do. He must carry on.

Major Nair's room.
Nair : Discipline is the only thing I am worried about. Jitna tum seekh sakte the utna seekh chuke ho. I don't understand for what purpose this program is still in the course.
Then he smirks and continues.
Nair : Of course for one good reason that two persons can carry their illegitimate relationship. But this time, they don't get to spend their night together.
Huda understands in which direction he is hinting at. But he chooses to ignore.
Huda : Sirjee, leave it. You might have had a lot of fun with girls cadets at such programs 😉😉.
Nair looks at him angrily.
Nair : Attention cadet. Discipline.
Huh, what did i ever do wrong to deserve such protege, first that dumb pooja and now this overconfident jatt. Nair murmurs to himself.
Nair : I have one task for you. I want you to keep an eye on the opposite team.
Huda : Yes sir.
Nair : Fine. Then what are you waiting for...to get me married ???🤔 Get out.
Huda salutes him and moves towards the mess.

Shalini : I am so excited to get you as my protege.
Yudi : Same here mam. I was actually nervous that I would get major nair.
Shalini : Oh poor soul. They shouldn't do such bad to anyone.😂
Yudi : But both of them are made for each other. I can't wait to see huda cleaning up the mess or running errands at 3am.
Shalini : Dont make fun of this, yudi. I can also do the same to you.
Yudi : I know you won't do this. You are a sweetheart 😘.
After saying this, he fumbles a bit. He tries to cover until.
Shalini : Thank you cadet.
Only then, Rajveer knocks the door. Shalini calls him in.
Rajveer : Am i missing something?
Yudi : No sir. We were only saying that keeping major nair and huda in one pair is the best decision so far.
Rajveer laughs.
Rajveer : It's funny actually. I wonder what if major nair gets infected by hudagiri. He might start acting like our huda-the way he flirts😉😉😉.
And rajveer laughs wholeheartedly. Being a best friend, Shalini feels relieved that atleast he is getting his happiness back. Yudi looks stunned at this new Change in his favourite teacher. But watching a feeling of satisfaction settling on shalini's face, he understands and tries to play along.
Yudi : And then we will get to see some serious flirting between major nair and naina 😉😉😉.
Rajveer's face expression changes which hints at a danger for yudi.
Shalini couldn't hold her laughter. Rajveer also ignores yudi. His face gets serious.
Rajveer : Cadet Yudi, if you don't mind i would want to take your mentor away from you.
Yudi : Sure sir. I will see you later, ma'am.
And he leaves and closes the door tightly.
Rajveer : Dr Shalini, let me get straight to the point. How do you know Major abhimanyu.
Shalini gets a shock at his mention. She flutters a bit.
Shalini : Major Abhimanyu is...in ouuurrrr facultyyyyy.
Rajveer : You can't actually bluff with me. If i am asking you something so confidently, that means i have already done my homework. So tell me what do you know about him which others don't know, Dr Shalini or I should say Dr Shalini Rai Chauhan????

So here is the next update. Sometimes we don't see the clue which is easily visible. Is Dr Shalini also involved with Abhimanyu in planning something bad against Rajveer? Will this new information impact naina and rajveer's relationship? What happens when the person nearest to our heart betrays us?
