Chaeyoung's POV
I am not sure if their plan will work. I'm expecting for the worst really.
Speaking of 'worst' I think it will happen later.
Apparently, I'm here waiting for her to show up.
She's been late for almost 20 minutes. What took her so long? It's not about the traffic jam though. The streets are effin' clear but again, what took her so long?
"DAMN IT! WHERE ARE YOU?"
It's not like she's preparing for this and she will spend her time in the mirror.
Call her?
"HEY!"
I turn my back to that person.
"LONG TIME NO SEE CHAEYOUNG."
"YOONGI?"
"YUP BOII~ SO I GUESS YOU'LL HAVE A DATE?"
I stood up and hugged him.
My long time friend is here! Yoongi was my neighbor and we became close. But then she moved to LA to pursue his dream to become a record producer and good thing he did.
"OH MAN~ GOOD TO SEE YOU! HAVE YOU BEEN WELL?" I push him and playfully slap his arms.
"LIKEWISE BY THE WAY IS IT A DATE?" he pointed the table.
"UHMM NO~ HONESTLY SHE WILL TALK TO ME I MEAN A SERIOUS ONE AND I ALREADY RECKON THIS." I sigh.
"Mina? I heard she got a man. Is it true?"
I nod at him and look down.
A year ago, I was always talking with him about Mina. He knows all of my problems. Aside from Jihyo, he's my sharing buddy.
I always sharing my problems with him.
"DID YOU FOUGHT?"
"NOPE. I FOUGHT WITH HER FUCKING BOYFRIEND." I smirk at him.
"GEEZ BRO. WHY?" he hits my chest.
"LONG STORY BUT FOR NOW I CAN'T TELL YOU. I'LL TELL YOU SOONER." I smiled at him.
"ALRIGHT. SO I'LL GET GOING NOW BRO."
"OKAY. SEE YAH~" I waved at him.
/sigh/
Then suddenly someone tapped my shoulder.
I turn to see.....
"OHH MINA?"
"SORRY I'M LATE."
"IT'S OKAY." ---- 'JUST FOR YOU'
"LET SIT." I offer her a chair and then I order something for us.

"Who's that guy?"
"Yoongi my long time friend."
Geez. What was that Chaeyoung? You look awkward.
"I see."
'OH COM' ON MINA! SAY IT!'
*cough* *cough*
"Are you okay?"
I look at her and then look away.
'GEEZ YOU MAKE ME FALL FOR YOU AGAIN'
"Yes by the way what are we going to talk?"
I started. It's time to be serious.
----- and she response that made my whole world collapse.
"LET'S NOT TALK TO EACH OTHER. I'M SORRY."
I expected this but it really hurts when she really uttered this.
I look at her seriously.
"IS IT BECAUSE I HURT YOUR BOYFRIEND?"
I can't see her face. She's looking down.
'TELL ME MINA YOU DON'T LIKE THIS TO HAPPEN.'
"SILENCE MEANS YES." I said bitterly.
"WHY IT HAS TO BE LIKE THIS?"
"TELL ME."
Then she spoke.
"I DON'T WANT BAMBAM TO BE JEALOUS."
No One's POV
"I DON'T WANT BAMBAM TO BE JEALOUS."
Mina said.
Chaeyoung can't believe it. He's trying to absorb these things eventhough he already expected this but he can't actually endure the overflowing pain.
He stayed silent. No words came out from his mouth like no words could describe his feelings right now.
"CHAEYOUNG-AH GIVE ME A REASON WHY BAMBAM INTENDED TO KILL YOU?"
Chaeyoung look at her.
'DO I HAVE TO TELL HER? SO FINALLY MY BURDEN WILL LIFT UP FROM MY CHEST?'
He thought.
"IF I TELL YOU THE REAL REASON, WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT?" He asked Mina.
"IT DEPENDS." she said.
He bite his lip to control his mind to think straight.
"BAMBAM TOLD JIMIN TO KILL US----- BECAUSE----- THEY THINK----- WE ARE GOING----- TO STEAL YOU..."
He look down his feet, trembling.
"WHY ARE YOU GOING TO STEAL US IF THAT SO?"
Chaeyoung look at her disappointedly.
'THE HECK----- WHY SHE CAN'T GET IT?'
He thought.
"BECAUSE ALL OF THEM------ KNOW------- WE ARE---- FUCKING IN LOVE------ WITH OUR BEST FRIENDS! WHY CAN'T YOU FUCKING GET IT!? WE DID EVERYTHING TO DROP HINTS---- OF OUR FEELINGS YET----- ALL OF YOU ARE SO STUPIDLY DENSE!"
He exclaim.
Finally he confess after all those fail years he have, but in a wrong time.
He's mad and embarrassed.
Mina have her eyes wide open.
She can't believe her best friend is actually in love with her. For freaking years, she was oblivion.
"................."
"CHAE--- CHAEYOUNG-AH I--- I'M SORRY. I HAVE TO GO."
"MINA." He called her.
She stopped.
"DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO DO THIS?"
".........."
"ATLEAST OUR FRIENDSHIP WILL STAY THE SAME."
".............."
"EVENTHOUGH I HAVE FEELINGS FOR YOU BUT I WANT TO BE STILL YOUR BEST FRIEND."
"..........."
Chaeyoung didn't expected that he'll beg for their friendship when in fact, he planned to distant himself from her. That's absurd.
"ONCE YOU STEP FORWARD OUT THE DOOR, WHICH ONLY MEANS---------
-------- I AM NOT YOUR BEST FRIEND------
ANYMORE."
"........."
"MINA CAN WE STILL BE FRIENDS?"
Obviously, Chaeyoung still begging for their friendship. He can't imagine his life without Mina.
It seemed like he forgot his decision at first that he will distant to the extent but for sure, it will happen sooner or later.
"MINA?"
Mina closing her eyes. She's having a second thoughts but she keep her words for good.
Suddenly...
Mina exited so sudden.
"THAT'S HOW IT ENDS SON CHAEYOUNG. YOU'VE HURT ONCE AGAIN." He said.
Chaeyoung look at the glass wall.
Biting his lip. He's on the verge of crying.
He's staring at the door where Mina exited for only God knows how long.
Thinking deeper like how cruel life is.
"It's raining jinjja? The weather is just like my current emotions."
He stupidly smirk.
"I'M SUCH A LOSER."
Then he realized something...
"I GUESS JENNIE IS RIGHT. SHE CAN HELP ME. I HOPE SO."
He said.
Chaeyoung forced himself to be calm despite of the unbearable emotions he have.
Just like what he said...
"THAT IS LIFE."
Then he exited the place and he let himself soaked in the rain.
He doesn't care if he gets sick. But one thing, he doesn't want to see her.
Meanwhile Mina was on the taxi silently crying.
She's crying because she hurt Chaeyoung, she's crying because she was being dense all this time around her best friend, she's crying because she knows, she will never be able to attach with him. Forever?
