It took a few days for the vikings to arrive at Helheim's Gate via boat. But as they got near, just as Dusk predicted, The queen's call affected Dusk, causing her to start flying. And still the vikings followed, eventually landing at The Nest.
Dusk's P. O. V:
A disgusting smell defiles my elegant nostrils. 'How dare you defile this sacred ground with your filth!' I growl. I whip around and snarl. "Leave! Before I kill you! I give you 10 seconds before my outburst of Mercy is over!" The filthy scaleless seem shocked, why? I don't care. "I knew you were silver-tongued! You made me think my son was Alive! You lured us here, to kill us! Didn't you?!" The leader shouted in fury, and anguish? Alas, I don't know what he is talking about. "Mercy is over. Time to feed the queen!" I roar, setting myself in a defensive stance. They charge at me, eyes blazing with determination, weapons swinging wildly. However, I knock them away left, right and center, only focused on the leader, and a youngling - the weakest link. "TOOTHLESS!! STOP!!!" The young one shouts. Now, where have I heard that name before? The sudden outburst causes me to drop my guard, and before I know it, I'm out cold.
Where have I heard that name from? And why is that boy familiar?
"No! Dad! Don't, please!"
What is going on? Am I going to die?
"YES YOU ARE, THE SCALELESS TWO-LEGGERS ARE GOING TO EXECUTE YOU"
But, if that's what's going to happen, why did the boy yell for his father to stop?
"HIS FATHER IS GOING TO KILL YOU. HE WANTS TO DO IT HIMSELF"
"Dad! No! For once in your life can you please just listen to me!"
"No. I'm going to kill your 'pet' and then, YOUR BANISHED"
*Sobbing*
He was trying to save me. Now he is an outcast to his people. Maybe vikings are changing.
"IF YOU BELIEVE THAT BLASPHEMY?! YOUR BANISHED TOO!"
The Queen's presence leaves my head, and her influence over me ends.
My eyes dart open.
In front of me i see the vikings, cheering on my death, Hiccup crying and above me? Stoick's Axe. My eyes reveal my fear, as I struggle to get free. To no avail.
The vikings suddenly rip open the nest, seemingly ignoring me. Are they sparing me? Or waiting 'till after they take the nest?
I....I need to get free! Before she finds me! I try shifting to human. And almost get free. But my hands are tied behind my back I'm still stuck in other parts of it. "Hiccup! Can you help me!! Please!" I call out. Please hiccup!!!! My eyes begin to tear, and I begin crying.
Hiccup turns around, and looks at me in the eyes. And seems quite shocked. "Toothless?" He exclaims, barely a whisper. "Yes! I am! Please, I need to get out of here before......." My plea is cut off by the sound of a furious Red Death bursting out of the nest. "Before she came out" I breathe in shock, and fear.
Hiccup runs over and furiously begins to try undoing my restraints. "Don't worry Toothless. I'll get you out of there." Hiccup says reassuringly. But suddenly, the queen torches the boats. The mast smashes into the deck, and the boat I'm on sinks.
Hiccup dives as far as he can and continues to try. But to no avail. Suddenly he gets pulled up. "HICCUP!!!" I shout, inhaling a large amount of water. I begin to give up, but out of nowhere, Stoick dives in. "Dad?!" He smiles. And frees me. Shifting back into a dragon, I launch out of the water, and place Stoick on the beach, before coughing up water.
Hiccup hops on my back. Stoick looks Hiccup in the eye. "You know, you don't have to do this." Hiccup smiles that daring smile. "We're vikings, Dad. Its an occupational hazard." Stoick returns his smile. "I'm proud to call you my son." Hiccup smiles, as if he had been waiting all of his life to hear that sentence. "Thanks, Dad". Stoick then looks at me, and I quiver slightly. " I'm still not sure about you, but Hiccup trusts you, and so will I." He smiles at me, a genuine smile. I warble in response.
"Let's do this bud" Hiccup says and pats my head. "Let's" I warble.
