In the beginning there was a girl,
a girl more precious than a pearl.
In the begining she feared the start,
she feared the feelings in her heart.
in the middle she still felt lost,
but she tried her hardest at all cost.
in the middle she broke her soul,
and through that she turned to coal.
but this girl wasn't going to give in,
and so she stood over her greatest sin.
in the middle the boys came,
and her they tried to tame.
but in the middle she realised she was brave,
and that courage she would take to her grave.
and then,
in the end she was her own knight,
bold and daring like the bright light.
In the end she was like fire,
burning like deep desire.
In the end she saved herself,
she realised she didn't need someone else.
in the end she was the bee,
bold, bright, and ever so free.
