Winter has gone by quickly ever since Sasha went out to get some food in some district.
"Guys!! There's snow outside!"
Yep, that's what she said.
But winter aside, we might have a few days off for once just for all of us spend our holidays with our families and friends from different districts.
Besides that, Commander Erwin wasn't sure whether or not he'll plan out another expedition so he decided to let us have a few weeks off until Christmas.
-MORNING-
Clock struck at 9:30 am and the morning of Christmas Eve was only the beginning as it continues to flow like a river.
Not only its Christmas, but Levi's birthday too so we, our children and I, decided to plan him a birthday surprise breakfast as a family while he's still asleep.
Even though the breakfast is a bit late around 9.
But that's alright, the thought of us preparing a special breakfast for him counts.
"Mom! Will these do?", Leon questioned after pouring the cup of black tea.
"Just the right amount. Good, Leon", I replied to my eldest son and kissed his forehead.
"What about me, mom? Do you think dad will be able to finish this amount of fresh bread?", Isabelle questioned next after cutting slices of newly baked bread that we bought in town.
"Hehe, of course. I'm sure you're dad will able to finish it, he needs a lot of fiber and fiber is key!", I replied to my daughter and nuzzled her nose.
And then, there's my youngest son Elliot, being himself with a cute smile.
Don't worry, his adorable presence will surely make Levi happy.
After preparing, we went straight to the office and then our shared bedroom where Levi is still sleeping soundly in the fluffy white covers in the bed.
Once we stepped in, I approached with the tray on my hands while the twins are climbing the bed with Elliot.
"Psst, Levi", I whispered to him as I went to his side of the bed, "Merry birthday from us truly~".
He didn't respond and still slept soundly with a peaceful face.
I pouted and decided to kiss the top of his nose teasingly, making the kids giggle at my sweet gesture.
"Leevii~", I whispered again but this time, I'm slowing making my voice louder than before, "Breakfast is here~".
When I thought Levi will not wake up after this attempt, he started moving slowly in his sleeping form and a yawn was released from his lips.
"Err..", he groaned and started opening his eyes to see us on the bed.
His eyes widened from our sudden presence and the kids yelled, "Happy merry birthday, dad!!".
He blinked a few times and his lips slowly curled into a smile before kissing the twins including on the forehead.
"...wow, you guys didn't have to but thank you", Levi said and looked at the tray of food and a cup of black tea.
"Your welcome!!", they said in sync, "But that's not all, we have gifts for you too!".
"Gifts?", Levi questioned.
Without an answer, the kids ran out of the room and left me with Elliot in my arms.
"Heh, looks like the Christmas spirit must have made them this energenic first thing in the morning", Levi commented and leaned closer to me just to meet my lips with his.
I laughed and kissed him back sweetly yet passionately.
"Yep. Speaking of which, we haven't bought a gift for them yet", I replied while rocking Elliot in my arms.
"Tch...oh yeah", Levi said, feeling disspointed in himself, "Why don't we go out and look for gift items in town?".
I nodded in agreement and both of us decided to head out after Levi received his birthday gifts from Leon (his gift is brand new feather duster that doesn't lose its feathers [lol]) and Isabelle (her gift is a knitted dark blue scarf).

Evening came and Christmas eve has been so bright and lively after all the disasters that have been happening lately.
A small party is held in the mess hall where all the cadets and superiors are gathered there with food and gifts.
Eren, Mikasa and Armin are communicating with each other but apparently, Eren started arguing with Jean when he smashed pumpkin pie in his face which left Mikasa fixing the mess while Armin is silently praying.
Connie and Sasha are having a food eating contest at the back of the mess hall while a bunch of cadets are watching.
Reiner and Bertholdt are just chilling in the east side of mess hall, planning strategies on how to get Krista to notice Reiner and his manliness.
Ymir and Krista are eating one of the Christmas cupcakes that Sasha and I prepared with smiles on their faces.
And then there's Hanji.
Oh boy.
"LEETTT ITT GOOO!! LETT IT GOOOO!! C-CAN'T, HICCUP, HOLD IT BAC-HICCUP, ANYMOREEE!!!"
For some reason, Hanji got drunk after drinking a few shots of Christmas liquor and she became a mess.
"Section-Commander!! Get down from the table-"
Meanwhile, Moblit is worried about Hanji's drunk antics so he made sure that she doesn't do anything stupid.
"O-OHH!! HAHAHA, Moblit!! Hahaha, my Moblit! Come, to ARENDELLLE!!", Hanji called out to her assistant and made him join the table she is stepping on.
"W-Wahhh!! Waiit!!!", Moblit exclaimed and ended up hugging Hanji when he was about to fall of the edge of the table.
Hanji notices this and started giggling like a little girl.
"OH. MY. GOSH! SO YOU DO LIKE ME, MOBLIT!! W-Who, hiccup, knew this day would really come!! I LOVE, HICCUP, YOU TOO, MOBLIT!!", Hanji confessed and what she did next shocked everyone.
"Huh?! Wait, let me-Mmmf!!"
Moblit stopped talking when Hanji kissed his lips and it left the others speechless and cheering them on, especially the twins.
"Yay!!! I'm so happy for Aunt Hanji!", said Isabelle innocently.
Levi facepalmed, thinking that Hanji was a disgrace to the Survey Corps, while Leon is clapping along with his twin sister.
I only laughed at this moment for short time before bringing out the gifts for the twins and Elliot.
"Okay, let Hanji do her thing and look here!", I said, presenting them the gifts, "Your father and I have Christmas gifts for you!".
The twins turned their heads facing us and smiles were present in their lips.
"Really?!", they questioned in sync.
Levi just smiled at them and said, "Of course, it is Christmas after all. So take this as a appreciation from your mother and I".
They cheered and started opening their gifts with excitement.
After unwrapping it, Isabelle got a fluffy white scarf (from Levi) and a diary (from me), Leon got a white cravat like Levi's (from Levi) and knitted gloves (from me).
"Woahh! Thanks mom and dad!!", both of them said and gave us a big family hug.
"You're welcome", Levi and I replied in sync before kissing their foreheads.
Then, for Elliot, Levi and I gave him a blue knitted baby bonnet cap.
Elliot giggled after Levi placed the bonnet on his head and he seems very happy with the warm gift.
"Aww, you're welcome Elliot", I cooed and playfully kissed his adorable cheeks.
LATER (Outside HQ)
"Oh look at the snow!!"
The mess hall was already getting rowdy, including Hanji's drunk antics, so Levi decided to us outside where the snow is already falling from the night sky after putting Elliot to sleep in his crib.
"Isabelle, come on!!", Leon yelled.
"H-Hold on!! I'm fixing my scarf, brother!", Isabelle replied, while fixing the scarf Levi bought.
The twins started doing their thing in the snow like throwing snowballs at each other or making snow angels while Levi and I just watched them with a smile and admire the winter wonderland.
"Wow, the snow did a great job decorating everything around us and who knew with just a blanket filled of white fluff can making the world so...beautiful", I said in awe as I fixed my scarf.
Levi only hummed at response and looked at me with his bluish gray eyes.
"It's not the only thing that's beautiful, you know", said Levi, lifting my chin just so I could look into his eyes.
"Eh?", I murmured, feeling confused.
He sighed and shook his head before leaning closer for a kiss. I was caught off guard so the way he kissed just now was really warm and still filled with passion in it.
"I-I mean you, you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life", Levi said almost quietly before looking away to hide his blushing face.
I giggled at his words and nuzzled his nose, "So cute".
"Tch, I-I'm not", he retorted and tickled my sides.
"H-Hahaha!! Hey, no fair!!", I said, trying to get him back but failed.
He smirked and wrapped his around my waist to showering me kisses.
"H-Hey! Hahaha, very funny, Levi", I commented, giving in with his warm butterfly kisses.
"Why thank you", he replied with a husky chuckle, "This is why I love you, (Y/N)".
He kissed my lips again and I replied, "I love you too and happy merry birthday, Levi".
