A few weeks had passed by since the accident.

Taehyung left days after the last talk with you, and since then, things with Jimin became kind of awkward.

Sometimes when you visited his room, he would occasionally just stare at you, seeming to delve deep into his thoughts.

You knew his thoughts were about you.

The way his gaze rested on your form, as if trying to figure out how to solve an Acheron puzzle, and your body would warm itself as you avoided his eyes, looking at anything and everything in the room but him.

He took notice of your actions everytime and couldn't help but crack a smile at them, which he found cute.

He would try and try to figure out what Taehyung had meant - his words, "Y/N's all yours now," resonating in his thoughts like a song stuck in a person's head.

A memory would always pop up.

It was of a girl cuddling up against Jimin, incoherent words spilling from her mouth.

But it was vague, and the images were blurred when it came to her face.

And Jimin tried so hard to focus on her features, but all that would come out of it was a migraine.

But there was also another reason why he would stare at you.

He was attracted to you - that's for certain.

You were so beautiful and Jimin was utterly mesmerized.

With even the simplest of actions from you, his heart would hammer against his chest, a fluttering feeling growing in the pit of his stomach.

He knew then that he had started growing to like you.

But what he didn't know, was that he had liked you from the start - the day he had first met you in school.

But his memories had been lost, and it was up to him and time to get them back.

. . .

As your wounds had healed, Jimin and you were discharged from the hospital.

A taxi dropped you at your house, and Jimin came along.

He stood at your porch, in front of you, his figure towering over you - but not in a threatening way.

His gaze was soft, black hair ruffled as it flowed in the spring breeze, hands tucked into his pockets as he stared at you.

For a few moments, it stayed like this. No words were exchanged, just the both of you boring into each other's eyes.

Another memory slipped into Jimin's mind.

It seemed as if it was the same girl clouding his vision.

He was standing outside her door as she stood in front of him, incoherent words being heard once again. He leaned in suddenly, placing a gentle kiss on the surface of her cheek before walking away.

But as he tried to identify the face, a blur coated the scene, preventing him from doing so.

He glanced around your porch, his eyebrows knitting in confusion as it vaguely resembled the porch in his memory.

He shook his head, not wanting to dig further down as he was tired.

"I-I should probably head inside," you laugh sheepishly as you avert your gaze from him.

Jimin nods in response shifting slightly in his position, "Yeah, I'll be heading home too."

"Do you remember the way?" You ask worriedly.

"Yep," he purses his lips into a smile, "I remember the way."

You return his smile with your own, unlocking the front door of your house, "Okay, just making sure."

The boy stepped closer to you, causing your heart to beat wildly, the thumping sound echoing in your ears.

You hoped he hadn't heard how loud it was beating.

A faint pink hue coated his cheeks as he seemed reluctant, as if he wanted to say or do something but didn't know how to.

The action was big enough for the similar fluttering feeling to awaken within you - a reminder of the feelings you held so dearly for him.

You would patiently wait, even if it took years, but you would wait until the day Jimin's memories would come back.

The day he would remember how the both of you felt for each other.

He sheepishly scratched the nape of his neck, reluctantly stepping down the stairs and onto the footpath, "I, uh, I'll see you at school tomorrow?"

You inhale, not having realized that you had been holding your breath all that while before nodding, "Y-Yeah, totally."

And with that, Jimin saunters into the park, his figure slowly disappearing as you finally make your way into your house, closing the door as you lean your back against it.

Your mind was filled with the moments from before. It was almost as if he was about to kiss you.

Oh god, if only he had kissed me.

Shut up, Y/N.

You shake your head before making your way into your room.

. . .

As the sun slowly began to rise over the horizon, painting the clouds with rays of aesthetic, gentle colours, you lock the door of your house before walking into the park.

It was still quite early than the usual time you would leave for school, but you had decided it would be a good time to get some fresh morning air and a clear head.

Your gaze was fixated on the ground as you navigate yourself through the area.

That is, until you see a pair of feet step in front of you, causing you to abruptly stop.

The sun had cast their shadow over your form and you look up, only to meet familiar honey brown eyes.

"Morning," he greets with a bright smile plastered on to his lips.

"Hey," you reply back, "How'd you know I was gonna be here?"

"I didn't," the both of you proceed to walk slowly along the path, "I was just walking to school and happened to see you walking by as well. So I caught up."

You nod in response, leaving only the sound of the birds chirping to fill the silence.

"So," he trails off, "Are we in the same class?"

You look up at him, only for a brief moment, "Yeah, we, uh, sit next to each other."

"Wait what?" Jimin exclaims, "We sit next to each other?! How come I don't remember such a beautiful and amazing person?"

The raven-haired boy immediately closes his mouth as a blush crept on to his face and yours.

"Oh look! We're here," you chuckle nervously, "I'll see you in class. Bye."

And with that, you're off into the building, rushing towards your class as he had started using his effect on you now, despite losing memories of you.

Losing memories.

You scoff dryly to yourself as you sit at your desk.

It hurts to know he doesn't remember a thing about you.

And it hurts even more to not know if his memories will ever come back.

All the doctor ever said was to "be patient."

You sigh heavily, burying your face between your hands as all this became stressful.

"Y/N!"

You hear a familiar voice shriek. Before you could look up, you were immediately engulfed into a hug, causing you to chuckle as you pat her arm, "Hey Tzuyu."

"How are you? Feeling all better?"

She takes a seat at her desk to which you turn around to face her, "Yeah, I'm all healed up. So is Jimin, but it's just been kinda stressful and depressing. He lost a lot of his memories, and has 100% forgotten me, and it's hard 'cause everytime I look at him, I see all those moments we shared. But he doesn't remember anything."

Tzuyu nods in response, "I'm sorry, Y/N. I really am. I wish I could help, but I don't know how. And I'm sorry for not visiting you at the hospital after that day. It was hard for me to see my best friend in that condition, and I didn't want you to see me breakdown over it."

"Aw," you coo, leaping over the table as you wrap your arms around her for a moment before pulling away, "It's okay. I understand."

Hearing the door open, your gaze shifts on to the pair who had just walked in - a "happy" thing called Hyerim that was latched on to a very distressed and slightly irritated looking Jimin who seemed to be begging for you to help using his eyes.

Oh what now?

. . .
