Rosie's POV
"David!" I yelled before pulling him into a hug.
His arms wrapped around me as he hugged me tightly. "Rosie!"
I pulled away slightly to look at him. "I've missed you."
"I've missed you too. How-" a loud growl cut him off.
I let him go as we snapped our heads in the direction of the growl. Johnathan was standing there looking very angry.
"Get away from her!" He growled.
"What are you doing here Johnathan?" I glared.
"Woah, Ace is this your boyfriend?" David teased.
I glared at him. "He's not my boyfriend David. Just a guy who goes to my school."
"Who is he, Ace?" Johnathan sneered.
I rolled my eyes and pulled him to a different side of the ally way so we could talk more in private.
"None of your business." I snapped.
"It is my business." He snapped back.
"How exactly?" I asked.
"Just tell me who he is and I'll leave you alone."
"What are you even doing in this part of town?" I asked.
"I could ask you the same thing. You could get hurt."
"Doesn't matter. I know these streets like the back of my hand. I know how to escape trouble."
He rolled his eyes. "You say these things but you don't know shit."
"Wanna bet Johnny Boy?" I dared.
He growled. "Tell me who he is!"
"He's my brother!" I yelled. "There I told you! Now get back to the other side of town. You don't know what kind of people there are here."
"And you do!?" He questioned.
"Yes, I do! Now get your ass back to the other side of town!" I yelled before walking back towards David.
"Come on David. Let's go." I dragged him out of the ally way and towards my motorcycle.
"What was that all about?" He asked.
"It's nothing."
"It's didn't look like nothing."
"He just gets on my nerves that's all."
He nodded letting the topic drop.
"Are you doing good with your new life?" He nodded.
"You mean already making enemies at school and breaking Jacob? Then yes everything is Gucci." I said sarcastically.
He chuckled at my reaction then turned serious. "Yeah, nothing has been the same without you."
"Isn't that what happens when someone fakes their death?"
"You know it was for the best."
"Yeah but even though I wasn't going to become the leader of the gang doesn't mean I couldn't still be a member."
"You were just doing it to get away from your mom."
"I'd still rather be in the gang then be her daughter."
"Don't say that. You don't mean it."
"Yes I do David. I mean it. She's making me get married to someone I don't know or love."
"OK yeah that's pretty bad, but at least you'll be safe."
"Will I?" I asked rhetorically. "How's your dad doing?"
"You mean putting on his sad 'my daughter died' act to make your death be more convincing? Then yes everything is Gucci." He copied my words from earlier.
"Everyone still believes him?" I asked.
"Yeah! Everyone thinks he's broken but in reality he's happy your safe."
"I miss him." I admitted.
"He misses you too."
"And no one has suspected that I'm still alive?" I ask.
"Nope." He popped the 'p.'
"What did the news call it when I was dead?" I asked.
"I quote the headline 'Silver Tiger's Gang Leader's Daughter Killed in Gang War by the Rogue Wolf Gang."' He used fake enthusiasm.
I laughed at him. "Those Wolves never knew what hit them when I killed their leader though."
"True." He laughed. "I'm actually going undercover on the other side of town to locate their new base tomorrow."
An idea popped up in my head. "That's great! You can stay at my house!"
He shook his head quickly. "No! It's too risky."
"So? I still sleep with a knife under my pillow."
"Your mom will never allow me to stay at your place."
"She'll have to deal with me." I smirked. "Come one please. For old times sake."
He stayed silent for a few seconds. "Fine. But Anthe first sight of trouble I'm out."
I squealed and hugged him tightly. After we pulled away he smiled at me.
"I'll be there first thing in the morning." He said.
"I'll stay home from school to help you unpack."
"No. You can't play hooky."
"Why not?" I whined.
"Because you need education."
"Screw education."
"You are going to school tomorrow." He said firmly.
I rolled my eyes. "Fine. I'll leave a key under the mat."
"Good. Now what happened to your eyes?"
"It was just my contacts. I have backups."
"Do you still have your tattoo?" He changed the subject.
"Of course I do. I wouldn't let my mom burn my skin off to get it removed."
"And?" He questioned with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes. "And because it's full of memories."
"There's the cheesy sister I know and love."
He pulled me into another hug.
"Go home it's getting late." He pulled away.
I held out my pinkie. "Silver Tigers forever?"
He smiled as he linked my pinky with his. "Silver Tigers forever."
I smiled and strapped on my helmet.
I gave him one last hug before starting up the engine.
"I expect you to be at my house when I get home." I said before driving off.
I couldn't stop the smile on my face.
For those of you still confused. I faked my own death because of an accident that happened. David is the son of my stepdad and the gang leader, Jack. David is my stepbrother.
I soon arrived back on the other side of town. My house came into view and for once there were no cars in my driveway.
For once my mom took a hint!?
At least she and her rich snobs are out if my house.
I parked my motorcycle and removed my helmet.
I pulled out my keys and unlocked my door. I walking inside and locked the door. I tossed my keys aside and walked into my room.
I got a glimpse of my self in the mirror. I looked like a zombie.
My hair was messy, my eyes were still bright red and I noticed my blue streak of hair was fading.
I sighed and entered my bathroom. I stripped down and took a warm shower.
I stepped out of the shower and into the steamy bathroom. I wrapped a fluffy gray towel around my body.
I opened the medicine cabinet behind my bathroom mirror and grabbed some eye drops. I dropped about 3 drops on each eye.
I got changed into a white tiger onesie and climbed into bed.
I fell asleep with a smile on my face. I was reunited with my brother tonight.
