he doesn't know how long he's been lying there. he's dizzy as he wipes the blood from his nose and picks himself up off the ground. his body aches, heart aches, everything fucking aches.
he changes back into his sweaty gym shirt and walks out the back door to his car.
he sits on the leather seat, resting his head against the steering wheel. sleep threatens to consume him like warm blanket. he knows it isn't safe to even thinking about driving home.
he finds his keys and turns on the engine.
