"what?" he stares at liam in the disbelief. the person that he had been friends with since elementary... the person that helped him with math when he almost failed... the person that kicked jared union in the stomach after he had made fun of someone with disabilities... in a way, it made sense. liam may believe that he was doing the right thing, like when he had the satisfied smirk on his face when he was called down to the principal's office in the fourth grade.
but what could violence solve right now?
"he's not your friend," liam shrugged, rolling up his sleeves. "he's a jerk, remember? so punch him. he deserves it. he took eve from you, broke her heart. he was a total dick to you. show him who's boss."
"no," everett says, and he can see aidan's eyes fill with gratitude.
