"you and that jerk are friends?" liam asks, spraying himself with ten tons of cologne. "i mean out of everyone in the school, you have to go and talk to porter?"
everett licks his chapped lips. "we aren't friends. he was just being a douche."
liam doesn't believe him. "i'll go get him for you. we'll sort this shit out."
he watches kyle and isaac grab aidan's arms, seizing him tightly to make sure he can't escape. everett watches aidan, who is too shell-shocked and thrown off guard to put up any sort of resistance.
aidan squirms, trying to shake himself from their grip, and everett would laugh right now if this wasn't a scene out of a stupid movie. "let me go, assholes."
"i'm terrified," liam laughs sarcastically, his fact contorted like a horse, and everett hates the moment that aidan's eyes fall on him, on the shock that registers with his expression.
he stares at aidan.
aidan stares at him.
liam picks at one of his nails casually, as if he's practiced his lines and poses. "punch him."
