Chloe sighed in content as she laid in her Tanya's embrace, the vampire playing in her hair as she hummed a song. They were sitting in silence with the exception of the soft humming. The two were at peace, enjoying each other's company.
A whooshing sound was heard as two other vampires entered the room, the silence not breaking as they sat on either side of Tanya and Chloe. The sister cuddled into each other, loving the warmth that came off of their shared mate, her body and smile warming up the cold room.
The voice of her mother rang through Chloe's gead, her soft voice like an angels as it entered her brain, her body relaxing as if she felt her mother's cold hand on her warm cheek.
"Love, dearest Chloe, is not a spoken language at all, so listen not to tongues of silver." A memory popped into the blondes head, the vision playing before her closed eye lids.
Chloe remember this moment, it was when her mother was finally telling her what love meant. "Love is in kind deeds, thoughtful actions, truthfulness, trustworthiness and self-sacrifice. Within that definition of love lies true passion, not at all the same thing as lust - a transitory satisfaction for the 'hungry ghost' soul. Know this, sweet child, and you'll have more love than your heart can hold even in the 'slim' years."
I'm in this moment, it was then Chloe finally understood the meaning of love as she finally found three people that loved her more than she loved herself. She was their world and they were hers.
