Knightly's P.O.V
I couldn't even think straight with the twins crying so loudly and Micah emitting so much power because of how angry he was. I kept trying to calm the twins down by whispering words like "Everything's going to be alright pups" but they just kept bawling their eyes out. I couldn't take it anymore at a certain point and yelled "Micah, change back" in my alpha voice which obviously made everything much worse.
The twins started to screech and i winced from the loud sounds. Micah huffed seeing my reaction and walked up to the crib with an angry look on his face. I took immediately a step back and reflexively went to stand in front of the crib because i knew that the twins were going to get worse if Micah approached them.
Micah frowned at me in response and said "Move" in a cold tone of voice. A cold shiver ran down my spine when i heard him say that and immediately moved away from the crib because i knew that Micah wasn't in a mood to argue. I just stood there looking at him with clenched teeth not knowing what to do.
Micah leaned over the crib and picked up the screeching Althea first. The moment Micah held Althea in his arms i heard her cooing and my eyes widened in shock. I became speechless when i saw Micah place a kiss on Althea's head. He then hugged our daughter tightly and said "I'll play with you when you wake up ok my angel". The only words that i could utter when i heard him say that was "You broke the curse".
Althea kept cooing happily and Micah smiled lovingly at her. I didn't even care that Micah hadn't replied to me yet because of how happy i was. The main point was that my children were now free from the curse. "He did it Knigh our mate broke that godforsaken curse. We can finally sleep in peace now" said Star full with pride in the back of my mind and i replied with " I know Star our mate is amazing"
I then saw Micah put Althea back in the crib and pick up the crying Amell next. Amell immediately grabbed Micah's pinky possessively and tried to put it in his mouth. Micah chuckled at Amell and said "I love you too my pup. Papa has to do something important now ok. I promise to spend time with you and your sister when you wake up". Amell started cooing when he heard that and Micah placed a kiss on his cheek.
He then put Amell back in the crib and casted a sleeping spell on the babies. Micah sighed in relief when he saw the twins sleeping peacefully and i wanted to grab him by his collar to kiss him breathless but i had a feeling that this wasn't over yet. So i just said to Micah while looking in his eyes "I'm so happy that the children are finally free from the curse love. Our family can finally breathe in peace".
Micah frowned at me and said "Yes, me too but it seems like i can never have a peaceful day in my life. I tackle one problem and another one arises. I'm sick of it ". I couldn't control my anger anymore when i heard Micah talk like that and asked him angrily "What are you talking about Micah because judging from what i just saw you have already solved our biggest problem concerning the curse or is it something else". Micah shook his head angrily at me and yelled "Ask Eliza what she did".
I didn't understand what Eliza had to do with us and looked angrily at her. Eliza whimpered and tried to cower away. I walked up to her and grabbed her by her neck because this whole Eliza situation was starting to irritate me. The moment i grabbed her neck i felt the extra beating heart in her and i asked her "You're pregnant?".
Eliza couldn't speak so just nodded with her head at me. I was just about to push Eliza roughly away when i felt the bond between me and my son. I quickly let Eliza go startled by the bond. I then looked in shock at Eliza and asked her "You're pregnant with my child?" Eliza started gasping for air and answered me with "Yes, my king. I'm expecting your child". I thought about how that could be possible and growled loudly when i realized that Eliza used the condom that was in the bin to get pregnant. "Do you even realize what you have done Eliza?" i asked her menacingly.
Eliza stroked her belly while smiling and said "Yes, my king i know exactly what i have done. You may not remember me but we went to high school together and i always admired you from afar. I always wanted to have a bond with you and now i do. So i won't allow anyone to deny the fact that i'll be having a pup with you now that my wish finally came true . You will have no other choice than to except me now my king because you wouldn't want to lose respect amongst the other alpha's by rejecting me".
My whole body started to tremble in anger because i didn't know what to do next. I didn't even care what Eliza was spouting because the only thing that was going through my mind at that moment was the immense fear of Micah leaving me again. I was just about to look at Micah to reassure him that i wouldn't be excepting Eliza no matter what when Micah walked passed me in anger while conjuring his sword. I looked in shock at him when he put his sword on Eliza's neck and said " Do you know the phrase nip problems in the bud Eliza because that's what i'm going to do with you. Nobody will even know you existed when i'm done with you".
Micah pushed the blade of his sword against Eliza's neck and i could feel in how much distress my pup was. He was calling out to me and Star yelled "He's going to kill our pup Knigh". I pushed Micah roughly away and said "Even if she's guilty and deserves to die for what she did my pup is innocent in this matter Micah. He never asked for any of this so he deserves a chance to live. You can kill her after my pup is born".
I could feel the anger rising in Micah when i said that and he asked me "What are you planning on doing with your so called pup Knightly because people will ask questions and how will you solve that problem then?" I looked in Micah's beautiful green eyes and simply said "I'm planning on raising him together with our other three pups Micah. He will become your pup instead of hers".
Micah burst out laughing when he heard me say that and responded with "You're crazy if you think i will except her spawn as my own Knightly and by the way that child will never survive because he's mother is too weak. They will both die within a week so you should kill them now and be done with it".
I then heard Eliza chuckle and when i looked at her she said "I'm sorry my king but that angel is wrong. I was promised by demon Agiel that he would make my son stronger than your first born son and that my son would take over the throne after you".
I heard Micah groan and say "You should really teach your race how not to put their trust on a demon now that you're the king Knightly because they keep talking nonsense and keep making the same mistake". "Don't talk to the king like that angel" yelled Eliza in response to Micah and i growled loudly in anger. "You're lucky that you're carrying my pup Eliza or you would be dead by now for talking to my mate like that. I will rip you apart myself when my pup is born so keep in mind that you're only alive because my pup has already formed a bond with me" i said to Eliza in my alpha voice and she whimpered in response.
"No, demon Agiel promised me that i would get you as my mate when i did this and i'm sure he'll stay true to his word" said Eliza while shaking her head and Micah asked her "Want to see how trustworthy demon Agiel is Eliza?" Before Eliza could answer the question Micah casted a spell and Eliza immediately started rolling on the floor in pain.
She clutched her belly and then started coughing up blood. Her whole body started trembling and she started sweating. She screamed in pain and yelled "Please stop, i can't take it anymore". Hearing that Micah walked up to Eliza and said in a callous tone "I can't stop it because i'm not the one doing this. It's the pup and it will only get worse. He's eating you alive and sooner or later he'll kill you both. You have just signed your own death warrant by doing this Eliza and congratulations because you just found out why i'm the only one strong enough to carry the king's pups".
I then suddenly felt a sharp pain in my heart and i knew that it was my pup who was causing it. My pup was rejecting Eliza as his mother but was still fighting to live. "Please save him Knigh" begged Star me feeling the pain of our pup and hearing that i quickly walked up to Micah and said "He wants to live, love. Please save him for me".
Micah huffed at me and simply said "I know that he wants to live Knightly because he's calling out to me too but i can't do anything in this matter even if i wanted to. Eliza is too weak to carry him and she's getting what she deserves. You should really kill them now before you have to go through the pain of losing a pup".
I shook my head at Micah and said "There has to be a way to save him love. I can't just let him die knowing that he's my own flesh and blood". Micah sighed and asked me "You would still fight for this child despite knowing that i won't except him Knightly?"
I held my head high and answered Micah with "You'll fall in love with him once he's born love you'll see he'll be like our own child". Micah shook his head at me and said "That's where you're wrong Knightly because i'll never forget that he's not mine. Every time i'll see him it will remind me that he has that woman's blood running through his veins but i'll try to safe him for you because i don't want you to go through the death of your child. Prepare a room for Eliza at your hospital because i'm going to put her to sleep during this whole pregnancy. She won't feel any pain like this and the pup can grow peacefully ".
Micah then walked to the curled up in pain Eliza and conjured his sword. My breath hitched when i saw the sword again and i wanted to stop Micah but i held my breath instead when i saw Micah make a small cut on his wrist using the sword. He then knelt down in front of Eliza and said "Drink my blood".
Eliza scooted away from Micah while shaking her head and Micah grabbed her by her hair. He put his wrist in front of Eliza's mouth in anger and said "If you want to survive then drink my blood but it would be my pleasure to help you if you wanted to die instead". Eliza whimpered first then started to drink Micah's blood. Micah pulled his hand away from Eliza when he felt it was enough and then casted a sleeping spell on Eliza.
He stood up when he was done then casted a healing spell on his wrist. Micah then turned around to look at me while examining his wrist and said "He'll be born in a month and a half then it's up to you what you want to do with his mother after that. I don't want to do anything with this anymore so don't bother me with it".
I could feel how hurt Micah was and i didn't want to make it any worse by saying something unnecessary so i just said "Thank you for saving our pup love". Micah didn't even reply to me and walked out of the twins room. I then quickly mind linked Connor and said "Send two warriors and doctor Lewis to my apartment immediately Con". Hearing that Connor quickly asked me "Is everything alright my king".
I sighed knowing that we as werewolves didn't even need a doctor for healing then replied with "Yes, there is nothing to worry about this is about Eliza the nanny of the children. Can you ask Alec to find out more information about her for me". Connor replied with "Of course my king" before i cut off my mind link and i then thought to myself i have to find out which doctor helped Eliza to get pregnant.
I then walked to the crib of the twins and smiled when i saw them sleeping soundly. I could understand Micah's feelings because if Micah ever came to tell me that he was going to have a child with someone else i would lose my mind and destroy everything in sight but this wasn't our fault. It was Eliza's and she was paying for her mistake now.
I could have never imagined demon Agiel to go so far to split Micah and me up. I really wanted to know what demon Agiel was after and couldn't wait to hear what my father had discovered about him. I decided to take a shower before doctor Lewis and the two warriors showed up and walked into my bedroom.
I smiled when i heard the shower running and was just about to join Micah in the shower when i heard a knock on the front door. I quickly walked up to the front door to open it and the moment i opened the door doctor Lewis walked into my apartment with two warriors. They all greeted me with "Good morning my king" and doctor Lewis then asked me" Where is the patient my king?"
"Good morning everyone" i said back to them and continued with "Follow me" while closing the door behind them. I lead the three men to the twins room and said "This Eliza she's my children's nanny but is unconscious now due to her pregnancy. Can you make sure that she's well taken care of doctor Lewis". Doctor Lewis smiled at me then knelt down besides Eliza to examine her.
He then sighed and said "She is in a state of comatose my king. I'll make sure to look well after her". He then motioned the warriors to pick up Eliza and bowed with his head at me. I smiled at doctor Lewis and said "I don't expect any less from you doctor Lewis". After doctor Lewis left with the two warriors and the unconscious Eliza i walked back into my bedroom again. Micah was now all showered and was standing in just a towel in front of the mirror of my dresser.
He was fixing his hair and i walked up to him with a smile on my face. I hugged Micah from behind then placed a kiss on his mark. My heart skipped a beat the moment when i heard Micah say "I'm going to the underworld to find out more information about Agiel because this is getting ridiculous. I want to know why he keeps targeting us because i have a feeling that this is not just about you being the king".
I forcefully turned Micah around when i heard him say that and said "You don't have to go to the underworld love my father is already taking care of this. You should really rest because i can feel how tired you are. You have been channeling your energy to me and the twins since the twins were born. I can feel it deep into my core how exhausted you are and didn't you promise the twins that you would spend time with them when they woke up love".
Micah frowned at me and simply said "I know what you're doing Knightly and i don't like it so stop it. This is not the time to live leisurely because we have to be prepared for anything and place some guards in Eliza's room. I have feeling that Agiel will be coming for the pup". Micah then walked to his bag leaving me stunned and irritated.
Micah's behavior was starting to make me crazy and seeing him take out his clothes out of that damn bag again made me lose my mind because it was like was prepared to flee any moment. I walked up to Micah and pulled him roughly to me. I threw my arms around his waist and said "I order you to move in with me today Micah. You don't have to go back to your house to pick up anything because i'll order Alec to buy clothes for you and the kids. You will be staying with me from now on whether you like it or not and you know that this Eliza situation is not my fault then why are you punishing me for it".
Micah put his head down then whispered "I'm not punishing you for anything Knightly because this is all my fault. This would have never happened if i didn't ask you to use protection. How could i have been so careless i knew Eliza was up to something and didn't do anything i should have killed her from day one".
I lifted Micah's face then kissed him softly on his lips. Micah sighed and i started running my fingers through his hair. I looked at my gorgeous mate and said "Micah you're amazing, powerful and a great father but you have to let me see your vulnerable side too. You can't carry everyone's burden and pain by yourself. I'm your mate and not once have you cried on my shoulders not even when the twins so cruelly rejected you. While i keep crying on your shoulders because i can't live without you".
"Please love, i beg you let me soothe you when you need a shoulder to cry one and let me love you when you need loving. Let me stand beside you when you need the power to fight your enemy and let me share your pain when it's too much to bear". Micah smiled at me while freeing himself from my arms then grabbed my hand.
I looked puzzled at Micah and he just winked at me. Micah lead me to the bed and when i turned around to ask him what he was trying to do he pushed me roughly on the bed. I groaned at Micah and looked in surprise at him when i saw him pull the towel off his middle. Micah was now standing naked in front of me and i asked him in surprise "What are you doing love?"
Micah chuckled at me and answered me with "I'm in need of some loving right now Knigh". Micah straddled me before i could say anything and started kissing me all over my face. He then wore a dark blue shirt with a black jeans and said to me while looking at himself in the mirror "You should shower now because your father's on his way here with Kingsley".
I sighed and said "I know" then adjusted my pyjama pants and got off the bed. Is Micah that unhappy with me i asked myself while walking into the bathroom. It was true that i never knew how to make Micah happy but i was certain about one thing and that was that i had to kill Agiel before he succeeded in destroying the bond between Micah and me.
I took a relaxing shower because i needed to calm myself down and when i was done i walked to my wardrobe to pick out a suit to wear. I chose a dark brown three piece suit to wear and walked into the twins room when i finished getting dressed. Micah was feeding Amell when i walked in the room and Althea started cooing when she sensed me.
I picked Althea up then asked Micah "Do you need help love?" Micah smiled at me and responded with "No, i'm already done feeding Althea i'll put them in their rocking chairs when i'm done feeding Amell". I smiled at Micah and said "Were going to need another nanny now that Eliza isn't able perform her duties". Micah just chuckled at me and said "We'll get someone later this afternoon you'll see and i have a feeling that i would be going back to work real soon".
I looked in surprise at Micah and was just about to ask him what he meant by that when Kingsley walked into the house with my father. Sensing that we were in the twins room my father walked straight to there with Kingsley. The twins started cooing happily and my father walked to me to take Althea out of my arms.
He kissed Althea on her head and said "Hi, my beautiful princess". Kingsley then jumped in my arms and started rubbing his face on my shoulder. I could sense that he was tired and caressed his back. My father smiled at Kingsley and said "He's too powerful to join the other kids so i had to make him run through the forest to lose he's pent up energy. I hope you don't mind Micah".
Micah chuckled at my father hearing that and replied with "I don't mind but you have to think of something else to keep him busy because he'll start to challenge everyone when he's bored". My father's eyes widened in shock and said "I better get to work then because he's ruthless".
My father then looked at me and asked me "Should i meet you in your office Knigh?" I nodded with my head at my father and said "Yes" because i knew that my father wouldn't have asked me that if he wanted to share the information with Micah. My father then put Althea back in the crib and walked out of the room after saying goodbye to us.
Kingsley was already asleep in my arms and seeing that Micah said "Put him to bed Knigh i'll bathe him when he wakes up and you can go then. I'm sure the others are waiting for you". I smiled at Micah then leaned in to kiss him on his cheek. I then walked out of the twins room to put Kingsley to bed. I tucked Kingsley in and went to meet my father after that because i couldn't wait to hear what he found out about Agiel.
I sensed Mike at my apartment while opening my office door and thought that he might have come to visit the twins so i didn't pay any mind to it. My father was already in my office and was busy discussing something with Connor, Jeremy and Nathan. They all stopped talking when they sensed me and greeted me with "Good morning my king".
I greeted them back with "Good morning" and motioned my father to join me at my desk. We all sat down and i then asked my father "What did you find out about Agiel dad?" My father sighed and said "You won't like what i'm going to tell you next Knigh so control your emotions". I nodded with my head at my father and my father continued with "It looks like your uncle had a pup with Agiel. He's the same age as you and Agiel wants him to take over this pack so he can be the king but that's not all. They want Micah too because they think that he's the one who's making you even more powerful. They want his power and they will do anything to get it".
"It looks like Micah has been warding off their attacks by using protection spells on the pack and that's the reason why they're using our own race against us now. I have a feeling that they will keep meddling with you two until Micah leaves you because they think that he will be most vulnerable at a time like that. They will try to make him see that joining them is the best choice by using your kids. Agiel thinks your cousin should mate with Micah to produce a strong heir. They think that by doing so they can assure the future of the demons on earth because the pup will carry the blood of demons, angels, werewolves and humans".
My whole body started trembling in anger and Star was fighting to take over the control when i found out that all my fears came true. I was right all along this was never about me but about Micah and Agiel was truly doing his best to break our bond . And he may have succeeded if we weren't this strong.
I couldn't let my emotions show to my father so i gathered myself then asked him "Who gave you this information dad?" My father put his head down and answered my question with "Your uncle Knigh. He made contact with us when we were in the underworld and we stayed in contact since then. He's not doing so well Knigh he's son is more like Agiel than him and it's taking a toll on him".
I didn't even care about my uncle and said to my father "It looks like they don't know my mate that well dad because Micah never lets his emotions cloud his judgement. He will never let a demon decide his path for him. He will destroy the whole underworld before he lets them carry out their heinous plans".
My father sighed and said "I know Knigh but you have to be careful". I shook my head at my father and said "The only thing that i have to do is to make sure that no one comes between Micah and me. I'll kill anyone who touches my mate and you can pass that along to my uncle so he can start preparing for the loss of his only child". My father nodded with his head at me and said "We as your parents will stand behind you no matter what Knigh so don't forget that".
I knew my father said that because he wanted to make sure that i understood that he would be supporting his own son instead of his brother when the war began and i appreciated that so i said "Thanks dad" to my father. My father then said "It's almost time to train the second group so i'll see you all later". He then walked out of my office and i sighed in frustration because i now knew why Micah was always exhausted. He was using his power to protect the pack which was obviously my job but i was happy to know that Micah cared so much about my pack.
I was deep in thought about Micah and was brought out of it when i heard Connor say "We received a disturbing message from the Dark Moon pack today my king". I frowned at Connor hearing that and Connor continued with "The omega girl that came here as the nanny of alpha Ralph's son came to us this morning to seek help. It looks like alpha Ralph banned all the omega's from his pack".
I shook my head and asked Connor "Where is the girl?" Alec joined the conversation and said "She's in the waiting room my king she wasn't looking so well so i gave her some food and told her to take a rest in there". I smiled at Alec and said "Bring her to me". Alec quickly walked out of my office to go bring the girl and i asked Nathan while looking at him "How many omega's did he ban Nathan?"
"A total of ten my king. The other omega's already left the pack in search for work and a better life but it looks like these ten omega's were bound by contract to alpha Ralph". I shook my head again and said "It looks like old habits are hard to break for alpha Ralph". My office door then opened and Alec walked in with the frightened girl.
The girl was shaking in fear and i smiled at her and asked her "What's your name girl and how old are you?" The girl started stuttering and said "My name is Sylvia my king and i'm twenty years old". I nodded with my head at Sylvia and said "Tell me what happened". Sylvia looked at Alec first and when Alec nodded at her that it was alright she said "Alpha Ralph was in rage on the whole way back my king. He kept accusing of tarnishing his name and told me that i would pay for it."
"The moment we got back home he ordered his beta to ban all the omega's from his pack because we were just deadweight that he was forced to carry. I was born at the Dark Moon pack in stayed there because i had nowhere to go. My parents and my other three siblings tried to survive with what we managed to earn but then my grandparents from both sides came to live with us because the alpha took away their lands which they bought by borrowing money from him".
"I went to the alpha to ask the lands back but he told me that he had given the lands as gifts to his beta and gamma because they found their mates. He told me that my grandparents still had to pay him for the lands because they lived their whole lives on it so i begged him to help us with work and the Luna agreed to give me a job as the nanny of their two year old son when she heard my pleas.
"My parents always had to work hard to make ends meet so i had experience in raising children. I was happy with the job even if the pay was minimum but we have nothing now and have nowhere to go. I didn't know what to do and came here for help".
I smiled when i realized that Micah had already predicted this. "You did the right thing by coming here Sylvia. Would you like to work for me?" i asked Sylvia while smiling. Sylvia looked in shock at me and Alec said "I already did a background check on her whole family my king. Her father has experience in construction and gardening while her mother has experience in sewing and designing. They are hardworking people who would do anything for their family".
Sylvia's eyes widened in surprise and i said to her "I will give your family two houses to stay in which you have to manage on your own. They are fully furnished and ready to move in. You can either pay rent for the houses or you can buy the houses from us when you are ready. I'm sure that your parents and grandparents can find suitable jobs in the town to support your family. Your siblings can easily go to school here because we don't discriminate and one more thing your whole family has to join the required trainings to get stronger if they join my pack. So what do you say Sylvia do you want to become my children's nanny?"
Sylvia said "Yes my king" while crying and i quickly wrote the directions of my apartment on a piece of paper. I stood up and walked up to Sylvia then said "Here follow these directions and you'll find my apartment. My mate is already waiting for you and he'll explain to you what we expect from you. Ask your parents to come by later and Alec will take care of the formalities then".
Sylvia said "Thank you my king" then bowed with her head at me and walked out of my office. I sighed and said "Alec prepare a copy of the treaty alpha Ralph signed". Alec replied with "Right away my king" then walked into his own office to copy the treaty. I walked back to my desk and said while sitting back in my chair "Jeremy, will you be so kind to go to the Dark Moon pack with Nathan to teach alpha Ralph what's being an alpha's all about. And Nathan it looks like alpha Ralph forgot what he agreed to do when he signed the treaty so please explain it to him word for word like you would explain to a child".
" If he wants to act like a child then we'll treat him like a child. I want you two to assess his pack once your there and if they're hostile then you have my permission to kill if necessary. Take the pack's private jet and be back by tomorrow night because i don't want you two to be gone for long from the pack understood"
Jeremy and Nathan both yelled "Yes my king" then went to get ready for departure. Alec started working on the papers Jeremy and Nathan needed for the travel to Texas and i video called Luke together with Connor to talk about the packs in Europe. We talked about the pack's support systems because they were nonexistent and about the training of the packs.
When i looked at my watch after several conference calls with some alpha's i realized that it was already five o'clock and decided to go check on Micah and the kids. When i stepped into my apartment i saw Sylvia playing with Kingsley on the floor in the living room while the twins were happily giggling in their rocking chairs next to them.
I walked up to Kingsley and when Sylvia sensed me she immediately tried stand up but i motioned her to stay seated. She bowed with her head at me and i picked up Kingsley from behind then started tickling him. Kingsley started giggling and yelled "Stop daddy i'm playing". Hearing that i placed a kiss on the back of Kingsley's head then put him back on the floor.
I then walked to the twins and knelt down beside them. They started cooing and i leaned in and kissed them both one by one on their heads. I stroked their heads and when i saw them close their eyes after a while i stood up and walked into my bedroom.
I took a step back the moment i saw Micah packing his bag. "What are you doing love?" i asked Micah in fear of hearing the answer. Micah said "I'm going on a mission to the underworld" without looking at me then continued with "I don't know how long this mission will take so i asked Sylvia to stay with the kids. "
"Why can't someone else go love?" i asked Micah in anger and Micah frowned at me in response. Seeing his reaction i quickly added " I mean there are other angels right and you just had two kids don't you have the right to recuperate". Micah shook his head at me and said "Mattew and i are the only one powerful enough to do this Knightly and Mattew is on another mission right now. My father had no other choice but to ask me and don't you think it would make me seem selfish if denied the mission while people's lives are at stake".
I couldn't hold my anger anymore because all the things that my father told me about Agiel that morning started running through my head again and i yelled "I forbid you to leave Micah" in my alpha voice. Micah frowned at me angrily and picked up his bag then said "I'll be back once the mission is over and don't worry the kids won't even realize i'm not here. Bye".
He then casted a spell and left. I plopped down on the edge of the bed and stared at the spot where Micah was standing before he left like he would appear again. I then suddenly heard my youngest pup call out to me but when i listened closer i realized that he was actually calling out to Micah.
I sighed and started rubbing my face in frustration because i didn't know what to do. I then suddenly felt the gentle hands of Micah on my hands and i looked up in surprise. Micah was standing in front of me in his tight uniform looking amazing and i couldn't help to pull him between my legs to hug him by his middle. "Please don't go love" i said to Micah but he just stroked my head and said "I have to this Knigh because this is in your interest and you know that i will do anything for you my love. I'll be back before you know it and you should go see your youngest pup because he keeps calling out to me".
Micah then lifted my head and kissed me deeply. I breathed in Micah's scent and closed my eyes to savour his sweet honey and chestnut smell. Micah gave me one last kiss on my forehead and said "I love you and only you my love" then disappeared. I wanted to scream in pain when Micah left but i knew our children would feel it too so tried to calm myself down.
Why was it so difficult to tie Micah down i asked myself and dreaded not telling Micah about Agiel's plans. I prayed to the moon goddess to keep Micah safe despite knowing that she was never on my side but i was desperate and didn't know what else to do. I was just about to get up from the bed when i felt a sharp pain in my heart. I clutched my heart and started breathing heavily from the pain. I then suddenly heard a child scream "Papa!" through my head.
Hearing that i quickly walked up to the front door and said to Kingsley while looking at him "Daddy has to go to the hospital now baby boy. I'll be right back so look after your brother and sister for me when i'm gone ok". Kingsley smiled broadly at me and replied with "Ok daddy".
I then walked out of my apartment with only one thing on my mind and that was Micah because the way that my youngest pup was calling out to him felt like something had happened to him.
