A few days later...
Susan: (paakyat ng stairs)
Agot: (pababa ng stairs then nang nasa malapit na siya kay Susan, made a curtsy) good morning!
Susan: (tiningnan lang Agot then diritsu sa pag akyat)
Agot: (kiss Amada sa head) ang sungit ng lola mo baby. (Continue bumaba ng stairs)
Maids: (salubong Agot sa baba ng stairs then get Amada)
Agot: it's okay, i want to spend time with her.
Maid: we can take care of the princess so you can spend time with yourself miss.
Agot: really, it's okay.
Maid: it is our job to take care of the princess.
Agot: (felt so helpless)
Maid: (take Amada to the nursery)
Agot: (tingin sa papalayong maid with Amada then napaupo sa stairs. Felt so inadequate and down and bored)
Later that night...
Agot: (standing by the shore looking at the sky again)
Albert: there you are. (Akbay kay Agot) this becomes your favorite hang out.
Agot: (look at her watch) ang aga mo yata.
Albert: just want to spend some time with Amada.
Agot: is she asleep?
Albert: yes. I was surprise you didn't bring her to sleep.
Agot: (just shrug)
Albert: how's your day? What did you do today?
Agot: (just shrug)
Albert: (don't know how to reach out to Agot but he wants to try. Hold Agot's hand) come, i'll show you a place I love. I know you will love it there.
Agot: gabi na. Saka nalang.
Albert: c'mon! Promise you will like it there. Mas maganda yung lugar pag gabi. Let's go. (Hila Agot towards the boat shed then kinuha yung kayak)
Agot: really Albert. Siguradong pagod ka, huwag ka na mag abala.
Albert: hindi yun abala. I want to share the place with you. Mas marami kang stars makikita dun. (Get a glass lamp to bring with them) let's go.
Agot: (sunod kay Albert)
Pumunta na sila sa shore. Albert help Agot na sumakay sa likuran na part ng kayak then sakay na din siya.
Albert: (lingon kay Agot) are you okay?
Agot: (nod)
Albert: comfortable?
Agot: yeah. Gusto mo bang tulungan kitang mag sagwan?
Albert: just relax there. I can manage. (Paddle na)
Pagdating nila sa pinuntahan nila.
Albert: (baba sa kayak then help Agot na bumaba then inayos ang kayak para di madala ng tubig) this is a small island. I bought this with my first million years back. This was part of the estate before I bought it. I used to go here when I want to be alone or I want to think. It gives me some peace.
Agot: (look around the place but can't see much dahil madilim)
Albert: you can't see anything special around here dahil hindi ko dinevelop. I came here and just sit on the sand. (Hila Agot sa dry na sand and sit down)
Agot: (sit down also sa tabi ni Albert)
Albert: (off yung lamp) I just sit here and look at the sky.
Agot: (tingala sa sky and nakita nya na maganda ito. Na ang stars para bang napakaraming mga lights and parang ang lapit lang sa kanila. Plus the moon is slightly full kaya mas lalong lumiwanag.) wow!
Albert: (smile na nilingon Agot) beautiful, right?
Agot: I could stare at it the whole night. I feel like I'm in space.
Albert: (akbay kay Agot) this is my bolt hole. I haven't bring anyone here.
Agot: why bring me here?
Albert: because I know you will love it here. I want to share it with you.
Agot: thank you.
Albert: (nakaakbay pa din kay Agot then get her hands and hold it)
Agot: (look at their hands then to Albert)
Albert: (he wants to talk but ayaw niya masira ang mood ni Agot kaya he decided they will have the talk some other time.) if you want to come here, just tell me and I'm going to bring you here, okay?
Agot: (nod, smile at Albert)
Albert: (kiss Agot sa temple)
Agot: (look at the sky and think about her future. Kung ano ang kahihinatnan ng relasyon nila ni Albert. She admits it to herself that she still love him but she knows he doesn't love her. Nagtatalo ang isip at puso niya kung kakayanin nya ba makasama si Albert knowing na hindi siya mahal nito)
They just stayed on the island quite a long time without talking to each other. Just sitting side by side and absorbed with their own thoughts.
Later...
Albert: it's getting late. Let's go.
Agot: (stand up)
Albert: nagdinner ka na ba?
Agot: (iling)
Albert: c'mon let's have dinner together.
Agot: can we eat out?
Albert: (look at his watch) it's a bit late. I'll let the chef make something for us then we'll eat it in the garden. Is that okay with you?
Agot: (just shrug)
Albert: (get his phone sa pocket nya then call someone) let's go. Dinner is ready when we get back. (Assist Agot pasakay sa kayak)
Bumalik na din sila sa palace at dumiritso na sila sa garden para kumain.
Albert: (assist Agot to sit down)
Agot: (sit down)
Albert: (after assisting Agot umupo na din siya)
Maid: (nilagyan ng food sa harapan nila)
Agot: (look at her food)
Albert: let's eat! (Kain na)
Agot: (subo ng konti ng food niya but super alat ito kaya she just pretend to be eating)
Albert: don't play with your food. Why aren't you eating?
Agot: huwag mo na akong intindihin. Kumain ka na.
Albert: (sinubuan Agot) you should eat. You've lost a lot of weight.
Agot: I need to lose the weight I gained when I conceived Amada.
Albert: (subo pa din Agot) it's alarming how you lose weight in just a few weeks. You don't need to starve yourself, you look good as you are. Now, why don't you eat your food?
Agot: (look at her food then iling lang)
Albert: you don't like the food? Anything you want?
Agot: (smile kay Albert) wala naman problema. Di lang ako gutom. Sige na kumain ka na.
Hinayaan lang ni Agot si Albert kumain but hindi na siya kumain dahil di niya gusto ang food niya dahil sobra itong maalat.
After dinner.
Albert: you take a rest now.
Agot: thank you for bringing me to your special place.
Albert: (smile at Agot) it was my pleasure.
Agot: (smile at Albert)
Albert: we'll go back there and have a picnic.
Agot: (excited) kailan?
Albert: I'll arrange my schedule then i will let you know.
Agot: okay.
Albert: (kiss agot sa nose) good night sweetheart.
Agot: (just nod and smile shyly at Albert)
Busy pa din lagi si Albert sa mga responsibilities niya leaving Agot on her own. Feeling ni Agot pinagkakaisahan siya ng mga palace servants. Her food tastes awful and halos dinedeadma siya at hindi sinusunod ng mga servants.
One day.
Agot: (pumunta sa office ni Albert) i would like to talk to Albert please.
Secretary: I'm sorry but his highness is not available at the moment.
Agot: I won't take too much of his time.
Secretary: he's in a middle of a meeting miss and can't be disturb.
Agot: what time will his meeting end?
Secretary: I don't really know and his schedule is full today.
Agot: (sigh then walkout of the office)
Rashid: (papasok sa office)
Agot: hi Rashid!
Rashid: (tango lang)
Agot: I want to talk to Albert, Rashid.
Rashid: he's busy.
Agot: if I can't talk to him, can you please arrange transportation? I want to go sight seeing.
Rashid: you cannot leave the palace. The press, they will be all over you.
Agot: I need to go out. I am bored--
Rashid: you can go swimming, horseback riding among other things but you can't leave the palace. Excuse me. (Iniwan Agot)
Agot: (sigh, umalis na)
Later sa room ni Amada.
Agot: (get Amada from the crib then carefully lay her down sa bed and then dapa na din siya sa bed and face Amada) kung itakas nalang kaya kita dito? Okay lang ba sayo yun baby? Hirap na hirap na ako dito eh. Lungkot lungkot pa. Wala naman paki daddy mo sakin. Wala akong makausap dito. (Kiss Amada. Nilalaro laro niya lang si Amada)
Maid: miss, it's time to change the princess' diaper.
Agot: okay. (Stand up to get diaper)
Maid: (get Amada from the bed)
Agot: it's okay I can manage.
Maid: it is my job. Let me handle it. (Get Amada then go to the changing table)
Agot: (inis na inis, lumabas ng room)
Kinagabihan.
Agot: (nakita si Albert pumasok sa room nito kaya sinundan nya)
Albert: (take off his coat)
Agot: (pasok sa room ni Albert without knocking) Albert!
Albert: (lingon kay Agot) what's the problem sweetheart?
Agot: sweetheart mo mukha mo! Pwede ba pagsabihan mo ang mga--
Albert: relax. Ang init na naman ng ulo mo.
Agot: (lalo uminit ulo niya dahil feeling niya di siya sineseryoso ni Albert) pagsabihan mo yang mga alagad mo na huwag ako pakialaman pagdating kay Amada! Gusto ko ako mag alaga sa anak ko. Hindi sila pwede lumapit sa anak ko!
Albert: you need them--
Agot: anak ko si Amada kaya ako ang mag aalaga sa kanya!! (Lumabas ng room and bang the door)
Albert: (just look at Agot at hindi na niya pinatulan dahil alam nya mainit lang ulo nito at para wala ng gulo)
Later.
Albert: (visit si Amada sa nursery niya before going to sleep) what's wrong with your mommy today honey? What did I do wrong again? Hope you won't get her hot tempered trait but nonetheless I like riling her because she looks cute when pissed off. (Smile sheepishly at Amada who is sleeping). And that's the only time she talks to me. Pathetic of me, isn't it? (Kiss Amada sa head)
After a while lumabas na din si Albert sa nursery and decided to visit Agot in her room. He knock then nung hindi sumagot si Agot, he just went inside the room.
Agot: (nasa veranda ng room, malayo ang tingin)
Albert: (nakita Agot kaya approach her) if you are thinking of jumping, (tabi kay Agot then look down trying to check kung gaano kataas from the ground then look at Agot) with this height, I can assure you you'll break your bones but you'll still be alive.
Agot: (tiningnan Albert ng masama) sino naman may sabing tatalon ako? Nahihibang ka na ba?
Albert: (smile) just saying.
Agot: anong ginagawa mo dito? Umalis ka na!
Albert: I really hope our daughter, hindi niya ma mana ang pagka mainitin ng ulo mo.
Agot: (iniwan Albert) matutulog na ako kaya pwede ba umalis ka na!
Albert: is that an invitation sweetheart? (Sunod kay Agot)
Agot: (face Albert at pinandilatan ito) lumabas ka na!
Albert: (smile mischievously at Agot) don't you want me to sleep beside you tonight?
Agot: (pakita fist niya) eto gusto mo?
Albert: you can't dare.
Agot: (susuntokin Albert)
Albert: (hold Agot's hand then bring her close to him) I can't let you hurt me. They might send you into prison for hurting their ruler..
Agot: bitiwan mo ako! Hindi ako takot sayo!
Albert: I know sweetheart. (Kiss Agot sa lips)
Agot: (try kumawala sa kiss ni Albert)
Albert: (kiss Agot more deeply)
Agot: (slowly kiss Albert back)
Albert: (end the kiss then touch Agot's lips) good night sweetheart. Sleep well. (Smile na iniwan Agot at labas na ng room)
Agot: (naiinis kay Albert padabog na pumasok sa bathroom to get ready for sleep)
One day.
Agot: (Papasok sa office ni Albert)
Susan: i invited princess Margarita and her parents next week so we could talk about the wedding.
Agot: (natigil ng marinig boses ni Susan)
Albert: I'm busy mother. I can't accommodate them.
Susan: I cleared your schedule with Rashid. You will have time to talk about your wedding.
Albert: I have an important meeting next week that I can't cancel.
Susan: you need to marry the princess. You've been stalling for years. It's time that you marry.
Albert: I will marry when I am ready.
Susan: the two of you got along well before that useless woman entered the picture.
Albert: I don't have time to talk about that now. I need to go. (Nakita Agot nung palabas na siya ng office niya) Agot--
Susan: (lingon and see Agot) what are you doing here? You are eavesdropping on a personal conversation!
Agot: sorry. (Curtsy to Susan then umalis na)
Albert: (look at Agot but since nagmamadali siya hinayaan nalang muna niya and plan to talk to her later)
Umattend na si Albert sa kanyang meeting and went to his different appointments for the day.
On the other hand si Agot pinuntahan niya si Amada and spend time with her but gaya pa din ng dati halos hindi nya ito nakakasama ng matagal dahil ang daming nakapaligid na maid para mag alaga dito. Sa sobrang inis niya nag demand siya na aalis siya but nung hindi siya pinag bigyan pumuslit siya but sa dami ng guards nahuli din siya kaya nagmukmok nalang siya sa kwarto niya.
Kinagabihan pinatawag ni Albert si Agot sa office niya pero hindi niya ito pinuntahan dahil inis pa din siya dito. Sa halip pumunta siya sa dalampasigan.
On the other hand hinintay ni Albert si Agot pero hindi ito dumating kaya pinuntahan nya sa room nito but pagdating niya dun wala ito kaya pinuntahan niya sa alam niyang paborito nitong puntahan.
Agot: (nakaupo sa shore nakahug sa knees niya)
Albert: I know I'd find you here. Binalewala mo ang utos kong puntahan ako sa opisina ko.
Agot: hindi ako robot na susunod sa lahat ng gusto mo.
Albert: if you want to go somewhere you just need to ask.
Agot: as if papayagan ako. I am a prisoner here.
Albert: of course you are not.
Agot: (tahimik lang, di kumibo)
Albert: (sit down sa tabi ni Agot)
Agot: kung totoong hindi ako prisoner dito hahayan mo akong umuwi ng Pilipinas.
Albert: dadalhin mo si Amada?
Agot: of course!
Albert: (tahimik)
Agot: (tahimik din)
Albert: I'll ready the necessary papers needed and I'll clear my schedule for a few days so we can have the trip.
Agot: hindi ka sasama.
Albert: you will need protection, I will go--
Agot: hindi namin kailangan yan kung hindi ka kasama. Ikaw lang naman ang nag-
Albert: if I won't be coming then nobody will leave. Take it or leave it.
Agot: (silent lang)
Albert: (look at Agot)
Agot: (still hugging her knees deadma lang Albert)
Albert: you still haven't eaten your dinner, let's go, let's eat.
Agot: i'm not hungry.
Albert: you are always not eating.
Agot: (stand up) matutulog na ako. (Iniwan Albert)
Albert: Agot!
Agot: (nilingon Albert) kumain ka kung gusto mo pero matutulog na ako. (Lakad na ulit)
Albert: (frustrated)
Umakyat na din si Agot. She checked on Amada before she went to her room. Si Albert naman bumalik sa office niya and do some work para magka time siya ipasyal si Agot.
One day.
Agot: I want to talk to Albert.
Secretary: his highness is not available miss.
Albert: (labas ng office may mga kausap)
Agot: Albert!
Albert: (lingon kay Agot)
Agot: I want to talk to you.
Albert: what happened to Amada?
Agot: no, no, she's okay.
Albert: I can't talk now. I'm running late to a very important meeting.
Agot: pero--
Albert: not now Agot. (Umalis na)
Agot: (left standing, looking at Albert)
Albert: (kausap ang mga kasama while walking)
Agot: (umalis na din)
Later.
Agot: Rashid, I want to go out can you please arrange a car for me?
Rashid: where are you going?
Agot: none of your business! Just arrange a car for me.
Rashid: I have instructions not to let you leave the palace--
Agot: fine! (Iniwan Rashid)
Bumalik si Agot sa room niya na bagot na bagot at mainit ang ulo. After a while lumabas siya ulit and kinuha ang susi ng sasakyan na usually ginagamit ni Albert pag gusto nito mag joy ride. After pumunta siya sa garahe and drive it. Pagdating niya sa gate.
Guards: (harang Agot) miss--
Agot: get out of my way.
Guard: you are not allowed to leave the palace without a bodyguard miss. If you could just wait I will arrange someone to go with you.
Agot: it's either get out of my way or I swear I will run into you.
Guard: i'm sorry--
Agot: oh okay. (Atras yung kotse malayo sa gate then pinaharurot ng andar charging towards the gate)
Guards: (sa lakas ng takbo ni Agot, umiwas para hindi ito masagasaan)
Agot: aalis din naman pala. (Patuloy sa pag drive)
She continue to drive. Wala naman siya specific destination na patutunguhan but gusto lang nya ng change of environment kaya nya gusto lumabas. After minutes of driving napansin nyang may sumusunod sa kanya kaya try niya lumiko but nakasunod pa din ito sa kanya kaya kinabahan siya. Kahit anong paikot ikot niya nakasunod pa din ito sa kanya kaya nagpasya siyang umuwi na but since hindi niya kabisado ang lugar at sa kaba niya hindi na niya matandaan ang mga dinaanan niya. Nag drive lang siya pabalik sa medyo madaming tao para just in case ano mangyari madaming makakakita sa kanya. Kinakabahan siya, she tried to use the gps but since medyo mabilis takbo niya and nagdadrive siya hindi nya masyado maasikaso ang pag gamit nito. Habang driving nakita nya ang nadaanan niya kanina kaya dun sya papunta para makabalik na sa palace. Nung sure na siya sa dinadaanan niya nilakasan nya ang takbo but may biglang animal na tumawid kaya iniwasan nya. Sa pag iwas niya sumalpok siya sa kahoy. Sa lakas ng impact tumama siya sa window at nabasag ang salamin sa harap, but since she's wearing a seat belt hindi siya tumilapon.
