LA, California
Friday, June 17

"Babe, no for the last time, we're not going to Red lobster again." I sighed, putting my arm through my denim jacket.

"Christopher please, that's my favorite restaurant, you know that."

I looked over at me fiancé, and of course she was giving me the pleading eyes.

"I'm tired of sea food." I groaned.

I could hear her heels tapping on the floor as she inched closer to me.

Pressing her petite body up against mines, she grabbed my face. "Just one last time..." she said lowly.

I looked in her eyes and she was giving me that look.

I knew that look...

She then slid her hand down my chest, reaching down, grabbing him.

Following along, I gripped her back end.

"If we go to red lobster one last time, I have something for you tonight..." she smiled up at me.

I bit my lip. "Oh is that right...""

"Mhmmmmm" she hummed.

"Alright, red lobster it is." I gave in.

She kissed my lips, before turning around to walk off. "I thought so.. let's go."

I smacked her ass and admired her beautiful silhouette.

The way her jeans hugged her body.... god.

Any nigga would be lucky to have something so gorgeous, but that property is owned.

Just as I was about to grab her ass again, the national weather service alert sounded through the house, including our phones.

We both looked at the television in unison.

"The national weather services has issued a tornado watch for the following cities.

San Francisco
San Diego
Sacramento
Los Angeles
Beverly Hills
Santa Barbara
Oakland
Long Beach-"

I quickly turned the tv off. "Fuck that, let's go."

Rih frowned at me. "What? Are you serious?"

I nodded. "Yes, we're not canceling our date, we're already ready. Besides, those warnings are never true anyway. Look outside, it's fine." I said, pulling the curtain open.

"Ok, just because it's sunny doesn't mean it won't happen Chris. Red lobster can wait."

I kissed my teeth. "Babe, we'll be fine I promise. A few hours and we'll be back home. Don't worry."

"I guess." She sighed, grabbing her clutch and walking towards the door.

I grabbed my keys and wallet, following her out.

"Can we at least take the Range Rover today? I'm tired of cramming in that Lamborghini, I'm claustrophobic." Rihanna asked.

"Yeah, that's cool."

I found the Range Rover key on my key ring and unlocked the door.

When we got in I took a moment to appreciate what I had.

I just looked, Examining her.

She looked up at me and frowned. "What? Is there something wrong with my makeup?" She reached for the sun visor mirror, but I grabbed her hand, stopping her.

"No, no. You're fine babe. You're just so beautiful, so perfect."

A smile grew over her face as she began to blush. "Thanks baby."

"And your absolutely welcome. I just want you to know that I never want to loose you. We're in this forever ok? I promise babe you got my heart.  I ain't going nowhere, I gotta tight grip on you."

She held my hand tighter and gave me a sympathetic look.

"I want to make this clear right now my love, there really isn't an exit for me. I know there's no other love that I'm finna find, other than yours. I know every moment we had wasn't perfect, in fact I know I fucked up in the past, but that ain't me no more, I'm different babe..."

"I love you so much Christopher... I really do."

"I love you too and I'm gonna hold this down no matter what."

"Where is all of this coming from all of a sudden?"

"My heart, I just appreciate what I have so much and I felt the need to reassure you on my feelings."

She nodded. "That really means a lot Chris, really.."

"I can't wait to make this official." I smiled, looking down at our engagement rings.

"Ditto." She said.

"Alright, now lets go get some grub so I can get back home to that something you were telling me about."

We both laughed.

I then cranked the engine up and drove out of the garage.

I honestly liked California. Rihanna and I decided to relocate here, for business reasons. So far I've have no problems in the year we've been here. Only a lot of traffic, but that's manageable.

I reached in my jacket pocket, pulling out a blunt I had rolled earlier.

"Really?" Rih looked at me.

"Whuut?" I mutted, holding the blunt with with my lips, grabbing the lighter out of the glove department.

"Can you go a damn day without smoking?"

"Nope, and you can't either." I honestly said, flicking the fire on the end of my weed."
"I can too!" Rih dropped her mouth.

"Oh yeah? Open it up." I said, nodding at her clutch.

"Chris I-"

"Nah, open up that little ass purse." I chuckled, exhaling a cloud.

"Christopher-"

"Rihanna." I mocked her.

She kissed her teeth and opened her clutch. And as expected, there was a small bag of Mary Jane along with some cigars.

"When were you planning on rolling that up? I laughed.

She rolled her eyes and folded her arms.

I took another puff of the blunt and reached it out towards her. "Here, don't pout babe, it's ok babe, we can smoke it together."

She snatched it out of my hand and took a hit, with that same cute pouty face.

"You're so cute babe." I laughed.

After sharing about half the blunt, we pulled into red lobster's parking lot.

"Welp we made it.." I sighed, parking the car.

Rih dug into the armrest, pulling out a small bottle of perfume and started spraying it on here, and a little on me.

"Aye! Why on me though?"

"Because I don't want us walking in there smelling like a fresh bag of loud, duh."

"What's wrong with that?" I frowned. "Smoking is Normal for some people."

She paused and gave me a "really" face.

"What?"

"Are you kidding me Chris? You sound mental. Everyone doesn't smoke, and I'm pretty sure people don't want to smell it in a restaurant. Use your fat ass brain." She said tapping the side of my temple.

I chuckled. "I can't take you seriously babe. Your accent gets so strong when you're trying to get your point across.

"Let's just go." She shook her head, stepping out of the car.

As soon as I stepped out, a strong breeze smacked me in the face.

"Damn." I frowned, closing the door and squinting my eyes.

"It's getting a little chilly, don't you think?" Rihanna asked. "I should've brought a jacket."

I nodded. "Yeah, the wind wasn't even blowing before we left.

I took my jacket off and put it around her shoulders. "Here."

"You're so corny." Rihanna laughed.

"Corny for you." I smiled, kissing her forehead as we walked into the building.

The host smiled at us as we walked in. "Just two?"

I nodded. "Yes."

She grabbed a couple menus off the shelf. "Alright, follow me."

We walked with her through the dining around until she stopped at a booth next to a window.

"Yes, I love window seats, thank you ma'am." Rih cheesed.

She smiled. "No problem, your waiter will be with you guys shortly."

I nodded, sitting in front or Rih.

"I hope Layla doesn't go calling us about those blueprints and shit.." rih groaned. "It never fails whenever we don't come in."

As soon as she said that, my phone stared ringing.

I pulled it out of my packet and guess who. "Damn, you jinxed it and shit."

Rih snatched the phone out of my hand and quickly answered. "Layla, honey, we didn't come into the office for a reason, when we're not there, you're there for a reason, ok? Please don't call us if we don't show up to work. Just leave us a message or something. Thank you." She then hung up and turned my phone off.

"Damn, kind of rude much?" I raised my eyebrow.

"I don't care, I get tired of her, I think we should replace her because she's supposed to know how to handle things when we're not available, not call whenever she needs something. This is our time, I want no distractions ok?"

I nodded. "Your wish is my command babe."

Sooner than later, a young brown skinned girl walked up to our table. "Hi, my name is khris and I'll be your sever today, could I start you two off with something to drink?"

"Ayeeeeee my name is Chris too." I smiled.

The girl smiled back. "Oh cool."

"A sweet tea please." Rihanna said.

"Do you guys have any Hennessy?" I asked, out of curiosity.

Rih kicked my leg. "Chris."

"It's just a question." I laughed.

The waiter Chuckled. "I'm afraid we don't sir, but we do have soft alcoholic beverages."

"So No ciroc, no-"

"He'll take a sprite." Rih interrupted.

"Ok, sure thing, I'll be right back with your drinks." She then walked off.

Rih instantly looked at me. "Can you please act civilized. You know damn well they don't have any damn Hennessy."

"It was a joke babe lighted up." I laughed.

"You're stupid when you're high." She shook her head.

"What? Noooo." I shook my head. "Negative."

I glanced out of the window, seeing the trees sway lowly.

"The wind looks like it's picking up huh?" Rih said.

I nodded. "Yup. It's probably gonna storm or something, clouds are starting to roll in."

Rih suddenly gasped. "That weather alert Chris! Remember that tornado watch?"

"Yeah, so?"

"So? What if it's traveling this way or something?"

"Rihhhhhh everything is fineeee. I'm telling you, there isn't going to be a tornado."

"Look at the Damn wind, that shit isn't blowing hard for no reason."

"Babe you're paranoid. It's just wind, strong winds aren't going to hurt us. We're inside."

The lights then Flickered.

Rihanna looked at me. "Oh yeah?"

"Babe, just chill. Nice dinner remember? It's cool."
