Heto na guys! The teaser that will now be exposed in complete detail. Siyempre pag teaser, there are portions taken out to tickle your mind. So here, it's the whole picture now. You will see how the minds of Dei, Richard, Inigo and Kat are thinking at that same moment when they were all in front of the media for the presscon of Disruption as an indie movie.

By the way, thank you so much for those who already took the time to read Disruption. It is radically different from anything I have ever written, but I know that it will still make you feel all sorts of things. Plot twist pa rin in the end. Thank you for the nice comments, guys.

So here's the most awaited part of the story, the teaser, ladies and gentlemen, and how in blends with the story, considering all the events that have just passed. Your comments ha? I hope you like it :)

On the morning of Richard's birthday, Dei was at the Faulkner residence, having spent the night there with him and his family. They had a great New Year's Day celebration, his siblings and parents fully embracing Dei as a part of their family.

She woke up early to prepare breakfast for him, letting him sleep longer. Her gift was already on the breakfast tray as well, ready for serving. She entered the room and saw him still sleeping. She gingerly laid down the tray on the couch and approached the bed to sit and wake him.

"Birthday boy............"

She slipped underneath the covers to ward off the cold from the room's airconditioning. He was bare-chested, her fingertips coming in contact with his solid chest. His arm wrapped around her and pulled her closer to him.

"Happy birthday to you......." She started singing softly, whispering seductively against his ear. Her hand travelled as she sang, tracing the muscled planes of his midsection, traveling up to his neck, down his arm and hip, moving south. As her hand reached his crotch, her breath caught at his hard-on, his hand kept her hand where it was.

His mouth was already twitching naughtily, his dimple deepening. She poked his side with her other hand.

"Baby boyyyyyy.......get up na."

She started raining kisses on his face, one eye opened and groped for her breast.

"Hoy! Grabe ka, ohhhhhh....."

He was kissing her neck, one leg pinning down her body.

"Don't start something you can't finish Mrs. Faulkner." She was absurdly happy with the sound of that.

"Mrs. Faulkner talaga ha?"

"Yes, that's where we're headed, Dei. One day, I will make you totally mine."

"Hmmmmm.......I like that. Meanwhile, pwede tama nang harot? I brought you breakfast, hala malamig na yun."

"Painitin na lang kita, para—"

"Jayyyyyy, ang kulit. Get up na, seriously. We're meeting Kat later."

He suddenly sat down.

"Ha, finally? For real? It took a while for us to finally meet."

"There's a reason for you two meeting today."

"What? May problema ba? Birthday ko Dei ha, don't break my heart today."

She left him to get the breakfast tray and laid it in front of him. On the table was a gift-wrapped box. She took the box and pressed her lips to his.

"Happy birthday, baby."

"Sweetie another gift? You spent so much na on the last one. Too much."

"Well you spent too much on my ring and it wasn't my birthday so we're even. Open it.......Oh my gosh, I hope you will like our surprise."

"I don't understand....our? Sino kayo?"

He tore off the wrapper and opened the box. There was a book-bound manuscript in it and inside, he scanned the pages of Disruption, now a screenplay for a motion picture. He saw the director and cast, the production outfit, and of course, the screenplay writer.

"Dei.........my God." He pulled her close and hugged her tightly, his eyes tearing up. He pulled her to his lap, carefully setting aside the tray. He buried his face in her neck, smelling her sweet essence, thanking God for this miracle of a girl, coming into his life when he thought he was doing fine. How his life changed when she came and showed him what he missed.

"You're a fucking miracle worker."

"Did you like our surprise?"

"Goodness, my first novel as a short film? Never in my wildest dreams. And Inggo, ha. Is he behaved while I was gone?"

"He and Kat are friends now. They've dated several times already."

"That's good. I don't want him making goo-goo eyes at you."

"Sweetie, he has eyes for Kat only, not me."

"Pero tumino pa rin siya for Kat ha."

"I think he got the message loud and clear. Besides, Kat can handle him."

"What time are we meeting Kat?"

"Uhmmm, baby?"

"What?"

"It's not just Kat we're meeting."

"Huh? Who else?"

"It's a presscon for the movie. We're meeting them at 2:00 PM."

Richard

The conference room was cold and clinical, almost like a padded cell in a hospital. Richard wiped his clammy hand against his jeans, sighing heavily. Elevator music was playing, and it was getting on his nerves. He never liked saxophone music, he was a rock music fan through and through.

There were framed posters of her on the walls, past movies she had done. At such a young age, she was so accomplished in her craft. Fans loved her, the press was wild about her. It seemed like everything she touched turned into gold. And now she expressed that she wanted to do a movie with him.

This was his big break as a writer. His novel was going to be on the big screen, they were selling the idea that it was an indie movie, when in fact, it was going to be produced with a lot of funding from her management.

They wanted to legitimize her stature as an actress, to show that she was capable of working with non-commercial material and make it her own. Focal Point's PR team came up with this strategy of creating an "indie" movie that would seal her stature as a well-rounded actress, going full-circle in the cycle of a true artist. From a choice of over 20 screenplays submitted, she turned down all of them and expressed a desire to go with his novel. HIS NOVEL.

It was not a commercial piece, but he was told she liked it, she read it from cover to cover. Reading his book said something to him about her character. Modesty aside, it meant she had depth, because his novels were complex journeys into the mind of unique characters. Despite their chats through the years, he never really knew how her mind worked when it came to her choices of reading material or movies. They never talked about her work. This got him intrigued with their first meeting face-to-face.

For the nth time, he checked his watch. It was thirty minutes past their call time. His OCD was kicking in, he hated people who made him wait. He did not want to attend a presscon on his birthday.

He wanted to be with Dei. Alone.

Just the two of them, for a few days. He hated this circus.

Dei

She was beginning to think this was a bad idea. She saw that he was irritated. Kat's team was late, Inigo was already here half an hour ago.

Finally, the door opened, and a whiff of floral sweetness wafted in the air. Kat was like a graceful cloud that walked in, dressed in all white, her wavy hair tumbling down her shoulders, slim legs in gold sandals moved gracefully in measured steps towards him.

Kat smiled at him and Dei watched his face transform, imagining his heart thudding. It seems Kat made him forget his irritation over her tardiness. As Kat approached, she kissed his cheek and gently brushed her thumb against it to erase a faint imprint of her lipstick. The cameras clicked as they merely stared at each other. The media was on a frenzy, watching sparks fly between them.

Dei gazed at him, noting his wide smile, his dimple deepening. Her heart hammered, her breath caught. He really was a the most handsome guy she had ever met in her entire life. He had the most soulful eyes, the most genuine smile. He was hers.

But his eyes and attention were on someone else. She cleared her throat to try and get his attention.

"Richard?"

"Oh......Dei. So sorry."

She laughed ruefully, her hand curling around his arm.

"Richard, I'd like you to meet my sister, Kathryn Mendez." She introduced them formally, not wanting to share with the media that he was called Jay. Her Jay.

Richard, meet Kat.

Kat, the award-winning actress, her younger sister, and now, seemingly the apple of the eye of Richard.

"Kat......you remember Richard, right? My, uhmmm....best buddy from college."

Inigo looked at her strangely, wondering why she did not introduce Richard as her boyfriend. But she and Kat discussed this. Part of the appeal for the movie would be Richard as a brand, and Dei, astute businesswoman that she was, wanted this movie to do well, even if it was an indie movie.

She wanted people to remember Richard, so that by the time his books hit the bookshelves locally, he already had a name that would translate to book sales. His restaurant would be the bestselling franchise among all the Concha's branches. Anything for Richard.

Richard, the love of my life, my best friend, and by the looks of it, soon to be boyfriend of my sister. That is, if they continue looking at each other that way. And what was I to expect?

I , Madelaine "Dei" Mendez, the elder sister, wallflower, smart-mouth and bitch to some, may be handing over my boyfriend on a silver platter to my popular sister. I hope I'm wrong, but I think I'm about to get my heart broken.

Kat

"Happy Birthday, uhmmm, Richard," She said formally, suddenly feeling shy. He was like an apparition, she knew he was handsome, she had no idea he was this good-looking. She tried her best not to stare, but she was robbed of her tongue, looking at him after all these years.

"Thank you Kitty Kat," He said and smiled at her.

"Kitty Kat? Do you know each other already?"

"Bagay kayo, pwede siyang artista."

"Kat, siya na din ba leading man mo?"

"Sir Richard, nanliligaw ka ba sa kanya?"

"Kat, pano na si Keifer?"

"Richard, may balak ka ba mag artista?"

"Guys! Sandali. We will answer your questions just give us time to sit down. Kayo talaga wag niyo takutin si Richard, hindi siya artista."

Richard. You are everything I imagined you to be. My ideal, my dream guy. But you are not mine. I have to remember that. You are not mine.

Inigo

Putangina pare akin si Kat, iyo si Dei. Pag uusapan natin 'to.

Kat, baby you haven't seen nothing yet. I will make you mine, just you wait.

Richard

My, my Kat how you've grown! How pretty and poised you've become. My face is weary from all the smiling, I am overwhelmed with all the attention.

But all I want to do now is take Dei home and cuddle her
